A copy of the application form is attached to this email. Please bring it with you on Saturday (do not post it) and this will speed up the queuing process on the day. However, please do not worry if you forget to bring the form, as you will be able to complete a copy at reception. Please note that any friends or family members that wish to accompany you into the Casino will also have to complete a Casino Member Application Form. Registration is only available to individuals aged 18 years of age and older, with a valid proof of identification. IDENTIFICATION Please bring a valid Passport or Drivers License. If you do not have one of those, then a credit card AND recent utility bill will suffice. Your guests will also need to bring a similar proof of identity. This is an essential part of the process. If you cannot present valid identification to the Casino, you will not be allowed to enter the premises. SCHEDULE Play commences at 3.00pm sharp on Saturday. Please note, players not seated by 3.00pm will be disqualified. This is a British Casino Association rule and there can be no exceptions made. Please do not turn up late! Play is expected to finish at around midnight on Saturday. Players left in will return for a 3pm start on Sunday, with the final expected to finish around 10pm to 11pm. Due to the nature of tournament Poker, end of day timings are estimated. PRIZES 1st - A cheque for £4,500 - Engraved Championship Cup - Gold Medal - EPT Package - 18 ranking points - Significant Media Exposure. The EPT package comprises an expenses paid entry to the Scandinavian Open European Poker Tour event being played at the Casino Copenhagen, Denmark, between January 17th & 20th 2007. Last year's Scandinavian Open was won by Mads Andersen, who won over 340,000 euro. The EPT package is worth approximately $7,500. Ranking points count towards the player of the year first prize of an expenses paid entry to the PokerStars.com Caribbean Adventure WPT event. 2nd - £1,800, Silver Medal & 17 ranking points. 3rd - £900, Bronze Medal & 16 ranking points. 4th to 9th - £300 each & 10 to 15 ranking points. 10th to 18th - 1 to 9 ranking points. Under our terms & conditions, the APAT will not support deal making. This is a unique Championship event and the onus is on every player to try their utmost to win it. The above prize structure promotes that ideal and as no APAT member relies on Poker to make a living, our Champion will receive the lions share of the rewards on offer. Please note that all entrance fees will be paid out in prize money. The APAT will not retain any fee for running this event for our members. The prize fund outlined above is subject to 120 paid entries at £75.00 per player. FREE STUFF A buffet will be laid on for all players on Saturday. We also hope to be able to give you some branded poker shirts and baseball caps with the compliments of our tour sponsors PokerStars.com! PRESS The Editor of PokerPlayer magazine and a Photographer will be present on both days. We hope to feature a number of images from the tournament on our website soon after the event. For those without the requested ID- You can take a bank statement, a letter with your NI number on it, plus a utility bill if you have no driving licence and credit card- I called today to check. Good Luck all.:ok

Re: apat live tourney birmingham yeah yeah Sam you just rub it in :sad Seriously though, good luck to all PL'ers playing in this, if I can get rid of this lurgey Ive currently got and climb out of the sick bed, I'll be cheering on from the rail. This is an excellent first prize, APAT have got to be applauded(sp) for that and out of only 120 runners, I believe that the PL contingent have got a really good chance of bringing this one home ( no disrespect all but hope its Lou ;) ) :hope so shall we have a sweep on how many PL shirts will be on display in the casino on day 1 ? I'll take a stab at 18 cheers Mike

Re: apat live tourney birmingham

I may have a surprise for you all :loon
It could only be that you've finally got round to learning how to play. ;) Alas it looks like me and my pom poms will be staying here, our little dog had a minor op today, but we need one of us to keep an eye on her for a while. I may be able to pop along much later (maybe after 8 or 9), but I won't be there all day. :sad

Re: apat live tourney birmingham Hi All, i have not been on here that long, but every time I read a post from this guy he is either having a go at members of Punters Lounge or Individual players. To be honest he is a pain in the arse, and i personally thing all his threads should be ignored because he is just trying to wind people up. Personally I can`t wait to see him play this weekend Just my opinion Joe

Chill out will you!!! Yes i am having a laugh with you!! You dont have to read my mild banter if you dont want to. Poker is all about playing your best and having a good time with the players around you. When you see me at this APAT thing you will see this from me. I will always try and play the best and go my upmost to have a laugh and share some table banter. The thing is with internet forums you cant really see some of the humor coming out from people so some often get offended. To that i say tough shit and get on with it. Hopefully you guys will get the chance to play on my table and you actually see that i just like to have a laugh. Jeffster has had the chance to play on a table with me at a live game and in no way was i an arse to anyone. I even agreed to help him out on the table with something as well. So carry on thinking what you like i just cant wait to beat you all!! A table with me and 9 PLers please!!! ROFL :dude ITS TIME TO WHOOP ASS :spank

if I can get rid of this lurgey Ive currently got and climb out of the sick bed' date=' I'll be cheering on from the rail. [/quote'] Yeh, me too, though not quite so bad that I've taken to my bed yet. Might have to find a quiet smoke-free corner to cheer from (not good with smoke at the best of times, but no chance with a runny nose!:( ) Apart from that I'm really looking forward to it. :ok
