Have done a L25 and acca on the fun L15  = 3.50 points

1.40 Gdwd Raasel 7 points win at 5.2 = 23.81p, Vintage Clarets 4 pts at 8.6 = 21.85 and a cover bet on Dream Composer of 1.10 at 12.0 = 1.08 p if it wins

= 15.60 staked so far.

Tied up a bit today, but hopefully back later

3.35 Yar Spit Spot 2 pts win at 8.8 = poss p 15.29

17.60 staked so far

5.05 Stormy Sea 2.50 pts win at 6.6 for a poss 13.72 profit (last leg of L15)

= 20.10 staked today

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No luck in my betting today but a lot went right in other ways so I'm happy.

Bad start to the month on - 20.10 and YTD is now -6.74.  30 days left to turn it around 🙂

Galway 1840
Ado mcguinness runs a fleet of runners and Casanova looks the pick of them.

Missed out by just half a length last year before turning out again at the meeting. On a lower rating this time and has a chance.
Alanya won the ladies derby at the curragh and boasts some decent french form. This is just the second run in Ireland for Thomas Gibney.
A tough race to get involved in but these look to have lithe chances.

Alanya
WIN
CASANOVA

Golden taipan never at the races losing by 38 lengths.

Galway 7:50

Gambe Veloci

looks very like to be on the premises

place three places

Imposing supreme

each way

three times course winner and had a win recently which pushed him up seven pounds, but leaves him still below a winning mark. Yard must have known handicapper would bite and this form of kidology might just pay off here.

Had a chippy tea out of my L15 winnings today, mushroom omelette, chips and mushy peas. Not bad saying it consisted of four of the horses I picked for the Goodwood comp and my selection method was to try and pick horses whose initial letters spelt out “no chance”! :)

I’m chopping up the sofa and eating cat food later….

Galway 20:20

Gometra Ginty
each way

first run in Ireland won last year for Keith Dalgleish in the uk and very well treated here lots of winning marks to exploit from this position for gambling yard.

massive ten pounds claimed here by decent young jockey to put him in the picture.

Brown Eagle

each way

gets in as reserve and a real qualifier here
