StevieDay1983
The 2022/23 UEFA Europa League Final is now scheduled to take place between Spanish La Liga side Sevilla and Italian Serie A club Roma. It's a battle between a club that have made the competition their own over recent years and a manager in Jose Mourinho who is getting a new lease of life as a gaffer. Who are you backing to win? StefanBB
Sevilla vs Roma Sevilla will be hoping to bounce back here after a 1-2 La Liga defeat last time out to Real Madrid. Nevertheless, Sevilla has been focused more on the upcoming game, where they have a chance to win the trophy for the 7th time. José Mendilibar's Sevilla has managed to score eight times over their prior six outings. The corresponding tally of goals that have been scored against them in that time is five. Although this was a disappointing campaign for Sevilla in La Liga, winning this competition would see them qualify for the Champions League. Ahead of this match, Tanguy Nianzou (Unknown Injury) and Marcão (Muscle Injury) won't be available for Sevilla boss José Mendilibar. Suspended players who are serving a ban for this game are Pape Gueye, Tecatito, and Marcos Acuña. Since a losing effort in their last game against Fiorentina in the Serie A competition, Roma will be hoping to turn things around here. Like their rivals, the Giallorossi wasn't too interested in their latest game in the Italian top flight. However, the attacking players from Roma have struggled for goals over their previous six clashes, contributing to the disappointing return of just 4. Nevertheless, this match could make this season successful for Roma. Jose Mourinho eyes another continental trophy with this team after becoming the first-ever winner of the Europa Conference League last season. Roma manager José Mourinho has to contend with a number of unavailable players. Rick Karsdorp (Knee Surgery) and Marash Kumbulla (Cruciate Ligament Injury) cannot be considered. Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction It is going to be a tight match that is really hard to predict. Sevilla is the most successful Europa League team in the history of this competition. On the other hand, Jose Mourinho will prepare his side eager to win the trophy. Therefore, we won't be surprised if this game goes to extra time. Goals Market Prediction Roma is set for a close game, and we don't expect too much action in the final third from both teams. Sevilla also won't risk too much, and we shouldn't see more than two goals in total. harry_rag
Anything could happen and not much appears to be priced obviously wrongly! I'm leaning towards Roma but it feels pretty much close to a coin toss. Sevilla drifting beyond 2/1 is almost tempting. The game has a low goals expectation and none of the more likely goalscorers are particularly generously priced. Dybala around the 7/2 mark comes closest for me. My Bet Builder in the 365 thread is Roma to lift the trophy, both teams shown a card and En-Nesyri SoT at 12/5. Unfortunately I don't get the 25% bonus and was only allowed 44p on as it's a standout price that is the most appealing bet I've found so far. Could be plenty of cards but the market has factored that into the prices. Best chance of finding generous prices here is if you fancy a well behaved goalfest!
