hoffenheim has dismissed their manager so leipzig should walk this match

i was surprised by cologne performance last week. they look in top notch form and could cruise to victory

hertha berlin has played great football in last few weeks but i'm fearing they could feel burned out after their effort didn't pay off against borussia dortmund. i thought they deserved at least point last week anyone thinking of backing them should be wary. eintracht frankfurt is doggy team and they pretty much busted everyone's coupon last week when they lost to mainz at home but before that won both away games against wolfsburg and werder bremen.

schalke doesn't have striker to rely on so bayer leverkusen won't have any problem beating them

borussia dortmund, bayern munich, wolfsburg and bayer leverkusen is nice four fold acca

£50 pays about £250

3 games in Germany today, 1 in the top flight and 2 in B2.

Hoffenheim v RB Leipzig: Ref Welz was an overs winner for me previously and I'm happy to go again at 13/10 for >40 points with Lads. Bit better than the 46 you can buy at and there's a 2 point arb at the moment.

D Dresden v Hamburg: Schroder a solid middle band ref at either level so 6/5 for 4-6 cards shown is a solid selection for me.

SV Sandhausen v Arminia Bielefeld: Aarnink looks a bet low ref but the prices don't appeal. 12 pens in 11 out of his 26 last B2 games means a buy of pen goal minutes at 15 with SX appeals. Saver on pen taken at 5/2 888 or Sky Bet.

Bought hotshots in that game at 41 with SPIN as it looks like clear value. 25 points per goal by Dabbur, Baumgartner, Werner and Schick. Let’s just say there’s an unusual difference of opinion between them and the rest of the market and that’s probably the biggest understatement you’ll encounter this weekend!

Bayern Munich vs Borussia Monchengladbach

The big game in the Bundesliga this weekend comes in a 5:30pm BST kick-off at the Allianz Arena when league leaders Bayern Munich will look to take another step closer towards retaining their title against a resilient Borussia Monchengladbach side. The writing seems to be on the wall for a home win but do the visiting side have any chance of causing an upset?

Bayern Munich still sit proudly on top of the German top flight. Hans-Dieter Flick's men are now 7 points clear with just 4 league games remaining. If Bayern manage to win this game and Borussia Dortmund lose away to Fortuna Dusseldorf then the title is sealed. We can sit here all day and wax lyrical about Bayern's form. 16 leagues games unbeaten, 15 wins during that run including winning their last 9 consecutive league matches, and 9 clean sheets during that spell. No defeat at home since 30th November, 2019. It's impressive form. To be honest, it would take a fool to bet against them right now.

Borussia Monchengladbach know what awaits them in this game. Marco Rose's side are in 4th place and inside the Champions League qualification spots on goal difference ahead of Bayer Leverkusen. Bayer lost 4-2 at home to Bayern Munich last weekend. Can Gladbach do better? The club's recent form hasn't been outstanding with just 1 win from their last 4 league matches. They have also failed to score in both of their last two away league games. This is an uphill challenge of the highest order. It just seems like it'll be too much to ask them to stop this Bayern Munich machine.

On paper, this could be a closely contested tie between 1st and 4th in the table. In reality, this is just another step that Bayern Munich need to take to seal what seems will be an inevitable title win. Borussia Monchengladbach don't look like the same team from earlier in the campaign. A lot of tipsters are backing both teams to score but I'm not even sure I can back that with any confidence. I'll give the visitors the benefit of the doubt with scoring a goal but I fully expect Bayern to romp to a 2-3 goal win.

Schalke vs Bayer Leverkusen

One of the games we're focusing our previews on in the Bundesliga this weekend is the clash between Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen in a 5pm BST kick-off at the Veltins-Arena later today. These two sides are involved in their own different battles for European qualification but the form of them both is quite contrasting. Will the form book be thrown out of the window come the final whistle?

Schalke could not have anticipated much of a worse return to action. David Wagner's side are watching their season go down the drain. The team is now in 11th place after the winless run continued with a 1-1 draw away to Union Berlin last weekend. That result now makes it 12 league games without a victory including losing 5 of their last 8 matches in league competition. These defeats haven't just been hard luck stories either. 5 of the last 7 losses the team has experienced have been by at least 2 goals. It's hard to see this barren run stopping any time soon without some major changes.

Bayer Leverkusen will feel slightly more positive about their campaign. Peter Bosz's side sit outside the Champions League qualification spots in 5th place by virtue of an inferior goal difference. However, Borussia Monchengladbach's loss to Bayern Munich yesterday now means a draw for Bayer in this game will move them into the top four. A win will see them cranking up the pressure on 3rd place RB Leipzig. Form has stuttered recently with 2 defeats from their last 3 league games including the 4-2 loss to Bayern Munich last weekend. That being said, Bayer have remained potent away from home having scored 12 goals in their last 5 away trips.

The facts are there to see plain as day. Bayer Leverkusen have to be backed to win this game. Schalke have looked nothing short of horrendous since they returned to action but the problems had been evident even before the break. I just can't see how Wagner can turn things around. It feels like he's lost the dressing room. Coming up against a Bayer side that will be looking to bounce back after last week's courageous but ultimately disappointing defeat could be a nightmare for the home team who have only scored 1 goal in their last 4 home league games.
