Back Caroline Wozniacki to win WTA Tokyo for a 5/10 stake at 3.75 with Bet365 Back Lucie Safarova to win WTA Tokyo for a 1/10 stake at 23.00 with BetVictor Back Elina Svitolina to win WTA Tokyo for a 1/10 stake at 67.00 with Paddy Power Wozniacki is arguably the second best player in the world at the moment and she seems very determined to make the most out of the final part of the season, so I'll go with her in Tokyo. Meanwhile, Safarova and Svitolina look like decent long-shot alternatives in the other half of the draw. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Varvara Lepchenko to win WTA Seoul for a 2/10 stake at 23.00 with Stan James Back Kaia Kanepi to win WTA Seoul for a 2/10 stake at 15.00 with Paddy Power Radwanska looked very average in the US Open and so I wouldn't dare to back her below evens, although she's obviously the main favorite for the title in Seoul. Lepchenko and Kanepi look like the best of the rest and they are also good enough to give Radwanska a good fight if the need to do so arises, so I'll be cheering for them next week. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Monica Niculescu to win WTA Guangzhou for a 2/10 stake at 21.00 with BetVictor Back Roberta Vinci to win WTA Guangzhou for a 2/10 stake at 13.00 with BetVictor Stosur looks like a very vulnerable favorite to me given her form, so I'll go for two long-shots in the form of Monica Niculescu and Roberta Vinci, who are both very experienced and good enough quality-wise to win a smallish tournament like this one. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Yaroslava Shvedova to beat Anna Lena-Friedsam for a 7/10 stake at 1.95 with Pinnacle Shvedova should be priced around 1.65 in this one I'd say, so 1.95 looks good value to me. Basically, she's still the much better player of the two - the only thing that speaks in the German's favor is that she played some good matches in China two weeks ago. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Edouard Roger-Vasselin to beat Gilles Muller for a 7/10 stake at 1.83 with BetVictor Edouard Roger-Vasselin should be a bigger favourite here in my opinion - he's not only the better player of the two, but he also has a positive record against the man from Luxembourg. His recent results haven't been all that great, but the truth is that he's been handed some really tough draws, so it's hardly surprising that he wasn't able to do any great things during the US Open series - and Muller looks like a good opponent for bouncing back. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Kirsten Flipkens to beat Dominika Cibulkova for a 7/10 stake at 2.75 with Pinnacle Cibulkova has been incredibly dreadful recently, so 2.75 against her looks worth taking. Flipkens isn't a bad player by any stretch of imagination and she's actually been playing better than Cibulkova over the last couple of weeks, so why she's such a big underdog here is beyond me. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Casey Dellacqua (+1.5 sets) to beat Sabine Lisicki for a 6/10 stake at 1.90 with Unibet Back Casey Dellacqua to beat Sabine Lisicki for a 3/10 stake at 3.69 with Pinnacle This looks like a tricky match-up for Lisicki to face straight after the tournament victory in Hong Kong. The conditions were quite tough there, so recovering fully won't be an easy task - and Casey Dellacqua is competent enough to beat the German even if she plays well. Re: September 15 - September 21 Kaia Kanepi -1.5 Sets vs Elizaveta Kulichkova 1.81 Kulichova is an 18 year old russian player. Lost in Hong Kong to Pauline Parmentier in straight sets. Kanepi should be able to win in straight sets also, since she is a better player then Parmentier. Kirsten Flipkens to beat Dominika Cibulkova 2.56 Flipkens has won the last two meetings with Cilbulkova and has a pretty good chance to win a third time. Their head to head is tied at 2-2 and Cibulkovas form is nowhere to be seen. Casey Dellacqua +1.5 Sets vs Sabine Lisicki 1.90 Lisicki should be rather tired from Hong Kong and facing Dellacqua is not an ideal opponent to face after her title. Kurumi Nara to beat Carla Suarez Navarro 2.27 They have never played eachother so this one feels like a real toss up but Nara has the home advantage. Not that CSN does'nt deserve to be favourite here but I think Nara is worth a shot. Alison Van Uytvanck -1.5 Sets vs Su-Wei Hsieh 2.00 Hsieh mostly plays doubles and she's qualified for Singapore with Shuai Peng so she should be able to play quite relaxed here but she should not have mutch of a chance anyway. They have met twice and Uytvanck has won both, the most recent in straight sets on hard this year in Brazil. Sloane Stephens -1.5 Sets vs Silvia Soler-Espinosa 1.75 They met in Australian open three years ago and Stephens won in straight sets. Stephens is the better player and more talented but I still feel this could go wrong but since I have picked a straight sets win for Stephens I would be very dissapointed if Soler wins a set. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Petra Martic to beat this Chinese youngster Wang @1.90 local bookie (7/10) Well, after the massivest choke of the galactical proportions that delivered this poor once-has-been-GrandSlam-Champion Samantha Stosur, the odds just must have started this way. Wang's turnaround from 2-6 1st set to the glorious victory 2-6 6-2 6-2 had to work. However - this Guangzhou is the very first Wang's appearance in the main WTA draw (has been ousted in qualies so far, but this year she got WC in Guangzhou). The young 20 yrs old Chinese must be oh-so happy by now! She defeated GS champion in her very first WTA main draw match! Well - Sam was poor. And given the fact that Martic is much more experienced WTA player and that Martic just defeated Sorana Cirstea by delivering very good serve profile (check it on MatchStat), I'd say that my money should go on Croat's side. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Ana Ivanovic to beat Viktoria Azarenka for a 7/10 stake at 1.72 with Pinnacle Azarenka will be there to be opposed until the end of the season I'd say and this looks like a good price for Ivanovic, so I'll back her to win on Wednesday. Put simply, Azarenka might have started to win matches once again, but she still isn't playing like a top 10 player these days. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Gilles Muller (+4) to beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga for a 7/10 stake at 1.81 with Pinnacle Muller seems to be enjoying the Metz conditions and his giant serve could easily throw Tsonga off balance, so this looks like a handicap line that he should be able to cover more often than not, especially with Tsonga having to make the switch from clay to fast indoors conditions. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Chanelle Scheepers (+6.5) to beat Agnieszka Radwanska for a 6/10 stake at 2.00 with Pinnacle Back Chanelle Scheepers (+1.5 sets) to beat Agnieszka Radwanska for a 3/10 stake at 3.29 with Pinnacle Radwanska looked average against Peng in the US Open and she wasn't incredible against Hercog in the first round in Seoul either, so I quite like the look of Scheepers on these handicap lines. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Casey Dellacqua to beat Marina Erakovic for a 7/10 stake at 1.80 with Betway Erakovic looks overrated here just because she beat Errani in the first round, but my guess is that it had all to do with Errani being quite average these days. Dellacqua is the stronger player of the two and she looked decent enough against Lisicki, so 1.80 looks like a price worth taking to me. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Garbine Muguruza Blanco to beat Jelena Jankovic for a 7/10 stake at 2.70 with Pinnacle Jankovic is obviously the better player of the two, but she's yet to play a match in Tokyo this week and she's always been quite vulnerable against the up-and-coming players in the early rounds, so I'd say that Muguruza Blanco shouldn't be written off from this one, especially since she beat Pavlyuchenkova in straight sets on Monday. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Nicole Gibbs (-3.5) to beat Danka Kovinic for a 7/10 stake at 1.91 with Pinnacle I'd certainly rate Gibbs above Kovinic on hard courts, so I'll go with the American in this one. She's yet to drop a set in Seoul and she was very impressive in the United States a few weeks ago, so chances are that she's going to beat Danka Kovinic with something to spare on Thursday. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Jeremy Chardy (-2.5) to beat Jan-Lennard Struff for a 7/10 stake at 1.93 with Pinnacle Chardy should be way too strong for Struff here in my opinion. He's still the better player of the two and the conditions seem to be to his liking, as he dropped just one serve in his opening match against Mahut. Struff, on the other hand, struggled against Lajovic, who had to make the long trip from India. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back M.Przysiezny/G.Monfils - Over 19.5 games for a 7/10 stake at 1.91 with Pinnacle This could be quite similar to the Tsonga-Muller match in my opinion. Przysiezny has a pretty decent serve, after all, and Monfils rarely excels in this kind of situations, so I believe that there's a good chance that we're going to see at least twenty games in this one. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Monica Niculescu (-5) to beat Yafan Wang for a 7/10 stake at 1.84 with Pinnacle Wang is lucky to still be here in my opinion, so I'm happy to take Niculescu on this handicap line. She's on fire at the moment and her tricky style will probably confuse Wang as well, so I'd say that this one could easily be over in no time. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/niculescu-vs-wang-betting-monica-niculescu-to-stop-yafan-wang-in-guangzhou-on-friday Back Lucie Safarova to beat Ana Ivanovic for a 7/10 stake at 2.61 with Pinnacle Safarova has an excellent record against Ivanovic, so these odds look worth taking to me, especially since I wasn't too impressed with what I saw from Ivanovic in her match against Azarenka, where she was unable to avoid yet another strange lapse in the middle of the second set. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back David Goffin Total Games - Over 11.5 for a 7/10 stake at 1.80 with Paddy Power I trust Goffin in this one, I really do. Tsonga didn't look too great against Muller the other day, giving up a few break opportunities and you just know that Goffin will get them as well if Muller did. The Belgian is playing well these days - and a straightforward defeat would come as a surprise to me in all fairness. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Jerzy Janowicz Total Games - Over 11.5 for a 7/10 stake at 1.86 with Pinnacle Can't see too many breaks in this one, so fancy Janowicz to cover this line much more often than not. Monfils was nothing special yesterday despite winning quite comfortably in the end, so Janowicz should give him a really good run for his money. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Maria Kirilenko to beat Karolina Pliskova for a 7/10 stake at 2.17 with Pinnacle Kirilenko has beaten three strong opponents in a row in Seoul, so I do fancy her chances against the Czech on Saturday, especially after seeing Pliskova admit that fatigue is indeed starting to get to her. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/kirilenko-vs-pliskova-betting-maria-kirilenko-has-what-it-takes-to-make-it-through-to-the-finals-in-seoul Back Anna Karolina Schmiedlova to beat Yafan Wang for a 7/10 stake at 1.92 with Pinnacle Schmiedlova is bound to bounce back at some point and this looks like a really good opportunity for her in the current circumstances. Wang got crushed by Niculescu and she'll have less than a day for everything ahead of this one, so chances are that she won't be anywhere near her best on Saturday. Schmiedlova, on the other hand, has no such worries, so I fancy her to finally break that long losing streak. Re: September 15 - September 21 Back Kurumi Nara (+4) to beat Svetlana Kuznetsova for a 7/10 stake at 1.84 with Pinnacle Kuznetsova has been very average for quite some time now, so Nara should be able to do some damage on Sunday. She covered this line against the Russian back in Washington and that was when Kuznetsova was actually playing quite well, so chances are that we're going to see a pretty tight contest in this one. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/nara-vs-kuznetsova-betting-kurumi-nara-looks-value-against-svetlana-kuznetsova-in-wuhan Back Elina Svitolina (-2.5) to beat Camila Giorgi for a 7/10 stake at 1.99 with Pinnacle Svitolina is the better player of the two and she played two good matches in Tokyo last week, so I expect her to be way too strong for Giorgi, who lost a poor match against Rodionova in the US Open and hasn't played since. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/svitolina-vs-giorgi-betting-elina-svitolina-to-cover-the-handicap-line-against-camila-giorgi Back Karin Knapp to beat Marina Erakovic for a 7/10 stake at 1.74 with Pinnacle I rate Knapp above Erakovic quality-wise and she seems to be in a great form as well, having won the tournament in Tashkent before beating Kudryavtseva and Gibbs in Wuhan, so 1.74 for her victory looks like a price worth taking to me.
