Maybe not much help for you if you have gone with the treble but just to make you aware both Tommy Spurr & Matt Kilgalon will be missing for Blackburn tomorrow evening. Both the mentioned defenders are out with injury and it is likely that youngsters (reserve players) Jack O'Connell & Yann Sondo'o may be in contention for a start with the possibility that manager Gary Bowyer may have one eye on the weekends fixture with Blackpool in making his defensive selections. Its not to say that Blackburn will not win as they are by far the better team but I can see goals in this match, especially if Jordan Rhodes plays. Sunthorpe themselves have selection issues with central midfielder Syers coming off injured at the weekend and defender Williams suspended from his straight red card against Swindon. I think if either Rhodes or Varney start upfront for Rover then the following bets looks decent: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.67 (5/10) BTTS yes @ 1.80 (4/10) Over 2.5 & BTTS @ 2.2 (3/10)

Looks like a potential banana skin to me mate.... Birmingham aren't the force they once were and will struggle this season. Cambridge back in the football league for the first time, and possibly riding the crest of a wave coming into this fixture. If I had to pick a bet I'd pick both to score, which I would think is fairly well priced given everyone will expect Birmingham to turn them over. Wouldn't rule out extra time either.

Re: England > Capital One Cup > 11th & 12th August 2014 Crawley +0.25 at 1.87 IBCBET 8/10. These odds seem like a gift to me, considering Ipswich team will not have their most important players like McGoldrick, Murphy etc playing. Here are some important news, INJURY UPDATE: Up to 10 players could miss the trip to Crawley tomorrow night, with Anderson, Parr, Stewart and Hunt all ruled out #itfc INJURY UPDATE: McGoldrick, Murphy, Smith, Mings, Skuse and Hyam also struggling for fitness and may not be risked #itfc https://twitter.com/Official_ITFC/status/498817095304769539

Re: England > Capital One Cup > 11th & 12th August 2014 4pts Coventry (+0.5AH) to beat Cardiff 1.87 Ladbrokes Coventry can get something from this game I believe. They have nothing to lose in the match and can give it a real go whereas you get the feeling that Cardiff can’t really win. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has indicated he will bring in some of his fringe players for this match whereas you’d imagine this will be a big thing for Coventry who could face someone like Man Utd if they win and make themselves a few quid which they really need. With that in mind I expect Coventry to give this their all and they can force extra time if not win the game. Re: England > Capital One Cup > 11th & 12th August 2014 Exeter City v AFC Bournemouth Exeter: TheLeague Two side are in turmoil. Really? Yes and they could be for awhile yet. Currently under control from the clubs 'Supporters'Trust', they are under a transfer embargo due to financial troublesin recent years. To worsen their already dire situation, last weekendthey were hit with virus ahead of their opening home-game againstPortsmouth and were forced to reregister 41-year-old manager PaulTisdale as a player (unused sub). In the press this week, they openlyadmit they are up against it with a depleted and inexperienced side. Bournemouth: TheChampionship side are off to a flyer; beating a fancied Huddersfieldside 4-0 away from home in the opening fixture. This saw Bournemouthzoom to the top of the Championship and a humiliated Huddersfieldpart-ways with coach Mark Robins. TheCherries manager EddieHowe has stated that he will be opting for an almost fully-changedside on Tuesday evening, allowing an opportunity for those who wereon the bench last Saturday and players in need of game time. Howebelieves he has “two players of very good quality in everyposition”. Stats/ Extra: Exeter. They have had a rough time in this competition over the 5+ years. Since2008, their home record (no away games) stands at: W1 L6 – Scored 6& Conceded 18. Albeit, often PL opposition. --- Bournemouth.Well, similarly, their results won't have you kicking withexcitement! Since2008, their overall record stands at: W2 L6 – Scored 8 &Conceded 14. Astand-out stat also worth noting is that Bournemouth have not scoredin their last 8 away games in this competition, losing all. Summary& Bet: I find it hard tolook past Bournemouth here, for me, morale is a huge factor, acompetitive, young squad wanting to put on a show, impress and fightfor places. The pressure is on Exeter here and a case could be madeto say that they will 'concede' this game to focus on the clubsrecovery and league status. I think it will bea very lively match and the bets i'd put up would be: BACK Bournemouthto WIN at 8/13 in your doubles / trebles. BACK BournemouthHalf Time Correct Score 2-0 at 7/1 BACK Bournemouthto win 3-0 at 12/1 Hope you enjoyedreading, thanks and good luck!

Re: England > Capital One Cup > 11th & 12th August 2014 Worth noting though that Exeter's injury crisis has eased somewhat, with the players that were sick now almost fully recovered. Bournemouth will be making several changes to the team that played at the weekend. Expect Adam Smith, Dan Gosling, Brett Pittman, Elliott Ward, Ian Harte, Junior Stanislas, and Daryl Flahavan all to start. Should still see off Exeter though.

Re: England > Capital One Cup > 11th & 12th August 2014 I would like to add. As i live in exeter, the club has been run by the supporters trust for almost ten years so it isnt like the club has suddenly plunged into a crisis. The supporters trust were in charge through multiple promotions from conference to league one, so while the club is strapped for cash a little bit ownership is stable. I am not an exeter city supporter but the tone of some of the posts on here paint a picture about what is happening at the club as to be something that i sense is just not factually correct

Re: England > Capital One Cup > 11th & 12th August 2014 Although not official this seems to be the team the media and fans are suggesting Wolves will play tonight. All of these players have numerous first team games for us with many being pivotal in our promotion last year. A few of these didn't play Sunday so I can't see any reason why this wouldn't be the team tonight give or a take a player - so, strong squad to sum up if anyone is thinking of backing Wolves but wasn't sure how strong we would go. McCarey, Doherty, Ebanks Landell, Stearman, Ricketts, Henry, Evans, Price, Jacobs, MacAlinden, Clarke.

Thanks for the information. I've been looking at backing Wolves but just couldn't decide how seriously they would take the game. I take it you would feel comfortable they can with Northampton with this team?

Yes and I think the price is pretty fair. 6 or 7 first team starters from last season in there with the rest being in and out regularly too. If this team played away to Rotherham in the league on Saturday I'd think it may be able to do the job even then, so SHOULD certainly be too strong for Northampton at home. That being said I don't know much about Northampton and how they will set up tonight but I'm sure they will come and give it a go.

Re: England > Capital One Cup > 11th & 12th August 2014 Portsmouth V Peterborough @ 2.4 - bet365. Pains me to say it but Peterborough look good value to beat us tonight. We seem to be priced up almost as though we're in the same league, partly due to our name. However any time we come up against better opposition we tend to not do too well. We were beaten by Charlton and Bournemouth in pre season and defence is still an issue for us. I see this being 1-2 or 1-3, as we do have real goal threats, but ultimately our openness will be our undoing against a better quality side.

Re: England > Capital One Cup > 11th & 12th August 2014 I’m going to go for two teams I backed at the weekend.Bristol City got an impressive victory at early bookies favourites Sheffield United whilst Brentford started with a draw against London rivals Charlton. I’d probably expect both teams to put out weakened teams but even then they should both have enough for inferior opposition. The Daggers followed up a dismal pre-season (7 defeats in 9) with a lacklustre display against a Morecambe side not expected to pull up any trees this season. Even with a weakened XI I still fully expect Brentford to run out winners here. City’s opponents Oxford also stumbled to defeat at home to Burton at the weekend. It probably doesn’t get much more difficult against a City side that bolted out of the blocks on Saturday. I expect the likes of Jay-Emmanuel Thomas, Scott Wagstaff, Marlon Pack and Adam El-Abd to start but they should surely be strong enough against fourth tier Oxford. The O’s will probably be urged on by a decent contingent which will no doubt help their cause but they should find it difficult against a City side that will be hopingto carry on the impressive start to the season. Double on BristolCity and Brentford to win @ 2.92 with William Hill (4 points)

Thanks for that egger and :welcometo PL. I would always side with a senior side against juniors, so Bury may well be worth a wager, certainly with a half a goal start.

Re: England > Capital One Cup > 11th & 12th August 2014 My god, Wolves the only wrong game for me tonight. Screwed two combo's. How on earth do they concede three goals at home against Northampton town???? I guess it's cup football... Anyways, some good shouts in here!

My god' date=' Wolves the only wrong game for me tonight. Screwed two combo's. How on earth do they concede three goals at home against Northampton town???? I guess it's cup football... Anyways, some good shouts in here![/quote'] I'm in the same boat. Some cracking results last night but Wolves let me down for a few Very tidy combo's :( Wolves seemed to be in control of the first half, without making the most of their chances and had 2 goals disallowed. In the second half the rain continued to pour and a freak 10 minutes spell produced 4 goals. Northampton went 2-0 up for Wolves to then bring it back to 2-2. By this time Northampton looked to be getting into the game and increasing in confidence and had as many chances as Wolves. TBH the 3rd goal could have gone either way and even at 2-3 down with 15 minutes to go I was suprised that Wolves didn't pull one back with how the match played out.

Re: England > Capital One Cup > 11th & 12th August 2014

Portsmouth V Peterborough @ 2.4 - bet365.
Rubbish. The only clean sheet Pompey will keep for a long time!
