Re: Scottish Football > March 4th - 8th Kilmarnock v Hearts 1.80 on a Kilmarnock win is an absolute gift. I would expect that price to shorten by Kick Off. Hearts were a shambles in the 4-1 defeat at Motherwell and now have nothing to play for. Kilmarnock have a good recent record against Hearts and players of Boyd and Eremenko's quality should have no problem against this very young side. Kilmarnock to win @ 4/5 (Bet365) Kilmarnock -1.5AH @ 2/1 (Bet365)

Re: Scottish Football > March 4th - 8th I like the look of Stranraer tonight in the rearranged Scottish league one fixture to beat East Fife @ 1.66 betnotsofair....Stranraer are 7-2-3 at home 22/13 and the fifers away are 2-3-7 9/24.It's the fifers lack of goals that draws me to this bet,I actually watched most of their match at home to Rangers last Saturday and while they were unlucky to lose to an injury time penalty, they offered absolutely nothing going forward and they were chasing the ball around for 90 mins. There will be a few tired legs making the 3 hour 30 min drive south for this midweek game.By contrast Stranraer had a solid 3-1 win at home to Dunfermline(away form 9-1-4 32/25).They also held Caley to 2-2 at Stair park. They have played 19 games at home in the league and cup this season and have scored in 17 of them(only blanks were against Rangers). In 13 of their home games they have found the net twice or more.By contrast East fife have drawn a blank in 7 of their 12 away games in the league and they are the lowest scorers in the league and also away from home with 9 goals scored in their 12 away games. Not much on the team news front but I think that Stranraer with Grehan(13 lge goals),Longworth(11 lge goals) and now McKenna(4) finding a bit of form that they will outscore their opponents tonight. They could afford to have Longworth on the bench against Dunfermline with McKenna scoring twice. The teams have met twice so far with Stranraer winning 1-2 away and 2-0 at home.....price is just on the edge of value

Re: Scottish Football > March 4th - 8th

I've been juggling around all day whether to take on Moffatless Ayr again but of course the price on Forfar has come in as I'm sure a few people think they have a chance. I'll leave it now as I think the value has gone...
Funny you should say that, because I was doing the same. I finally decided to take Forfar +0.25 @ 2.01 and Forfar @ 3.47. Ayr haven't scored in three matches without him, and they had two regular members of their starting XI sent off in their last match, as well. I'm also on Annan +0.5 @ 2.13 and Annan @ 4.76 against Peterhead. The gap between these sides is not that large, and to me the odds represent enormous value. Peterhead haven't lost at home yet, but they're 7-6-0, not 13-0-0. Annan's last loss away was Dec. 3; they're 8-2-2 overall since then. Annan have a win and draw against the League Two leaders so far this season.

+3.5 units on Forfar, -2 units on Annan. Annan showed categorically that there is a gap, indeed.

Re: Scottish Football > March 4th - 8th Well done 'Allthethings' on Forfar,I'm sorry now I didn't do them.Unlucky with Annan,I was also looking at the home record of 7-6-0 and thought they are about 50/50 at home.I was close to backing the overs but the price was poor so it was only Stranraer for me tonight...

Re: Scottish Football > March 4th - 8th Forfar vs Brechin over 2.5 goals @ 1.52 betnotsofair...Forfar's home games yield nearly 3 goals per game and Brechin's away games 3.5.Brechin have the worst defence in the league with 55 goals conceded in 27 games and 11 of their 13 away games have ended over 2.5.Both teams have full attacking options today and Brechin miss 3 defenders.Their coach wants them to improve defensively but admits it will be difficult with their missings at the back...

Re: Scottish Football > March 4th - 8th Elgin vs Peterhead...both teams to score @ 4/6 bet366.Elgin score on average 2 goals per home game and have Gunn(12 goals),Sutherland(9 goals) and Wyness(7 goals) available today. They have 6 players missing though and may be weakened in midfield and at the back.Peterhead are the highest scorers in the league with 55 goals and away with 27 goals in 13 games. They should score today and with Elgin finding the net in 12 of their 13 home games,I expect them to notch also. They've met 3 times so far this season and it's ended 2-2,2-4 and 2-1...
