Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th Toulouse – St Etienne TFC are in better condition for this match. They had a lot of injuries and suspensions in January but really only Pavle Ninkov is a notable absentee for them now. CB Spajic is back from a 3 game ban which should help matters. St Etienne also don’t really have too many issues squad wise and will be lining up at full strength. So both teams don’t have any excuses in this department and it will simply be a case of who plays best on the night. This is a matchup between a couple of pretty good teams who are hard to beat. TFC have only lost 1 of their last 8 games, and that was against Monaco in an unfortunate way. Sainte have only lost 1 of their last 7, but the defeat was in extreme weather and difficult conditions at Bordeaux. This should be an enthralling game, not necessarily full of goals but in a tactical way it’ll keep the purists interested. I think TFC are a bit underrated in this contest. They are quite a decent team and despite not possessing the greatest of home records, tend to prefer it when they are underdogs. They aren’t really an official underdog tonight but most of the public is favouring St Etienne and expects the visitors to win. Toulouse like this sort of situation and usually play better when the pressure isn’t on their shoulders. I have to admit the chances of a draw are quite high, but TFC are a tad overpriced on this 0AH line, so I’ll have a nibble. Prediction: Toulouse 1-0 St Etienne Recommended bet: Toulouse 0AH @ 1.99 4/10

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th Marseille – Bastia My feeling is that this’ll be a really open game of football. I am literally SO close to backing over 2.5 goals in it! But I will stick to my current rules of not betting an over unless its 2.25 or less. I just don’t see how it won’t contain goals though, OM have looked so much more offensive under Jose Anigo. On the contrary they have been vulnerable at the back and Bastia contain the type of players likely to cause them some problems. I think OM will win this game, but I don’t like taking them on a handicap because I’m not sure they’ll win by more than a one goal margin. I am hoping to find some decent IR bets for this game, but pre match the value just isn’t there for anything. Prediction: Marseille 3-2 Bastia NO BET Ajaccio -Rennes I honestly don’t have much of a clue here except it should be an awful game of football. Ajaccio games are often dull, lifeless and flat. Neither team has looked that good recently, although Rennes played well last week beating Lyon 2-0. But this is never a place anyone likes to come and visit, Le Stade Francois Coty is an awkward location. This will likely be a low scoring encounter, maybe a draw? There’s no way I could bet on either team. Prediction: Ajaccio 1-1 Rennes NO BET Montpellier – Evian Injury news is pretty decent both both teams. MHSC do miss Daniel Congre who’s been quite solid recently though so maybe this might affect them a little bit. I like the way the hosts have been playing recently, it looks like Rolland Courbis has given them a new lease of life and everyone seems to be enjoying their football, expressing themselves. The way Montpellier have looked recently you’d be a brave man to back against them here, but I feel they are too short with the bookies. Taking them -0.75 is a poor price, but a -1 handicap doesn’t interest me too much either. I just sense they might only win this game by something like a one goal margin, so taking the handicaps might be pointless. I do however like backing over 2.25 goals. This should be an open game in which both attack. Evian have struggle to find the net of late but is hasn’t been for lack of trying and they do offer a threat going forwards. I could definitely see them scoring here because under Courbis Montpellier have still conceded a few. Evian if Evian don’t score, MHSC could cover this line on their own anyway and are definitely capable of scoring 3 goals tonight. I’m not a fan of backing over 2.5 lines in France so I’ll take the 2.25 one at a lower price, that way there is at least some security in case only a couple of goals are scored. But all in all I think both will score and something like a 2-1 or 3-1 scoreline is most likely. Prediction: Montpellier 2-1 Evian Recommended bet: Over 2.25 goals @ 1.91 4/10

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th Montpellier will host Evian tg at their own stadium tonight. They are on a great run in 2014, and really improved their game play. Regular midfielder Marveaux is suspended for this game and regular full back Congre got injured last game. Tiene is a decent replacement for Congre and I think Niang will move to the wing so Montana will start in the centre upfront. Martin will move from the wing to midfield on Marveaux spot. Some changes but they can cope with that especially cause their opponent is so weak these days. Hardly can do any harm upfront and Montpellier will be the dominant side without a doubt so less pressure on their defense. Cabella their attacking midfielder is in the form of his life. Scored 2 goals last game and is really important with his vision and passes. Niang is also a great player for Montpellier, First I doubted him but he's doing well. At home Montpellier is also a strong side and I expect another decent performance tonight. I expect them to score at least 2 goals tonight and it should be enough even to cover the handicap. Montpellier scored 2 or more goals in their last 4 games. They played really well away at Reims and even slowed down a bit after leading with 0-3. Evian started 2014 in a terrible way 5 losses and 2 draws in 7 games. They've conceded 11 goals and only scored 3 times. Their strikers are in terrible shape and it took them 85 minutes to open up the score at home against Ajaccio last round. Really poor and even their 2 new signings had big troubles to adapt. [Abdallah and Tulio de Melo. They will probably use the same team like last round. Only their regular defender is still missing Mensah which is a blow. I can't see how Evian will get any points tonight. It would be a miracle turn around if they get a result here. Both teams are in opposite form and I fancy montpellier to get the job done comfortable. Evian only scored 1 goal in their last 5 games. They've lost 4 and drew 1! I will have 4 bets for this game. Montpellier home win with high stakes. Odds around 1.65! Montpellier to score 2 or more goals with medium stakes. Odds around 1.80! Montpellier -1.5 with small stakes. Odds around 2.70! Montpellier HT/FT with small stakes. Odds around 2.40! They are really playing with confidence, can see a flying start here! Goodluck guys.

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th Guingamp host Reims at their own stadium tonight. Guingamp has always been a solid home side, hard to beat and they often are the dominant side. They played pretty well away at Bastia which is a tough place to visit. Very unlucky to loose it in the end with 3-2. 2 errors in defense cost them the game so I guess they will be eager to bounce back here. Their young new striker Alioui scored a goal what should boost his confidence. Their wingers played a good game along with Sankhare their offensive midfielder. This guy had a slow start of the season but he is picking up some good form lately which is important for Guingamp's threat upfront. Langil should be back for the home side after injury. Their 2 offensive players are still missing Mandanne and Douniama both played 12 and 17 games so far. Leveque is also still out a defender played 13 games. But they've played some games without them now and did fine. Maybe it's time for their young striker to shine this season. It's a winnable game for Guingamp if you ask me. Reims is a wounded sheep these days and they conceded 4 at home against Montpellier. Their injury list is pretty long for this game : Their important centre back Weber is in the group but doubtfull, just returned after injury, his replacement Fofana is out aswell, striker Charbonnier is suspended for this game [even Reims fans cheered to this news, lol], Fullback Signorino is out and Mandi is also doubtfull, would be a huge blow for their defense. Their regular Goalie Agassa is out injured too. They already concede a lot lately so don't think this will get any better now. Because Guingamp's wingers are in great form, they probably cause a lot of problems to Reims fullbacks. I fancy goals here. Both do concede on a regular basis so I'll have 3 bets for this game. Fancy Guingamp to edge this one! Guingamp to score 2 goals or more with Medium stakes. Odds around 2.25! Both teams to score with medium stakes. Odds around 2.10! Small stakes on Guingamp to win and over 2.5 goals. Odds around 3.70! 2 point on Correct score 1-1 to cover some bets! Odds around 6.00! Goodluck.

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th Guingamp – Reims This’ll be an awful low scoring game containing little action. I don’t really fancy either side and think a draw is most likely. If Guingamp were a better price then I’d consider backing them but there is NO WAY they should be an odds on shot here. I know better than to bet against Reims away from home anyway, they have a habit of getting decent results on the road. Prediction: Guingamp 0-0 Reims NO BET Lille – Sochaux The way Lille are playing recently you couldn’t really back them with monopoly money. I’m not quite sure how they are a -1.25 shot on the asian lines here but it’s way too much. Having said that, I don’t particularly have much faith in Sochaux either. It’s true they won last week but they are still a pretty poor side. I really don’t know with this match, a small Lille win or draw seems the most likely outcome, I’m not interested in betting on the contest. Prediction: Lille 1-1 Sochaux NO BET Valenciennes – Nice Both teams have few absentees and Nice now have key left winger Eric Bautheac back in the squad following injury. I’m not exactly sure which way this match is going to go, but I think it’ll be an open encounter. Neither defence is especially strong and VA know they have to be aggressive in home games like this, they can’t afford just to settle for draws. I think the goals line is set wrong and 2.25 is far too generous for a contest such as this. This won’t be a tight cagey encounter and there’s enough offensive strength and defensive weaknesses that gives this bet a live chance of winning. Prediction: Valenciennes 2-2 Nice Recommended bet: Over 2.25 goals @ 2.20 4/10

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th Valenciennes v Nice Both teams are outstanding representatives of French football and are focused only on home games. This is evident from the results of this championship and on the history of personal meetings. If Valenciennes is not as bright, team in the relegation zone and have only recently started to show some football, which has allowed the club to improve their situation and to come close to the saving location. The last two games Valenciennes lost , but they did not expect too much , because few people can take points away to St Etienne or Marseille , especially to outsiders. But it is worth noting that managed to beat Monaco on the road. This match is very important for the hosts , as backlog of Evian is only 4 points, and to Guingamp for 8, a lot. Guingamp today may increase the gap , as playing at home , but Evian plays at Montpellier certainly lose on the road and this fact gives hosts a chance for another three points get closer to a competitor in the struggle for survival. Valenciennes crushes the whole match and actively uses the flanks. The team delivers a furious number of corners. Last season at home Valenciennes ate such rivals for breakfast. Nice would be difficult to survive, as team can not play on the road. In 11 games lost 8 times , but particularly alarming goal difference - 4:18. in other words , Nice is not able to score away. I think that Nice washes well bring this match to the victim, because all forces will focus on the fight for the Cup of France , in which Nice three days later to play with Monaco. I recall that in the last round of the Cup on the road Nice beat Marseille - 5:4 , so that the club is serious about this trophy. In the championship Nice takes a position that does not give the right to compete for the European Cups. So that the club can calmly prepare for the cup and motivated Valenciennes badly needed points tonight. Tip: 1 (-0.25) at 1.92 SBOBET

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th Unbelievable montpellier didnt won the game. Very unlucky to concede first, tey dominated the whole game, equalised before HT. Second half a lot of pressure again but Tiene got his second yellow due a sillly mistake. Even with 10 man they were the better side. Bad result for me! Guingamp played good for about an hour but again after they took the lead, they collapsed and conceded 2 goals.. Bts came in but unlucky they didnt get a second goal.. Bad night for me guys

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th I sneaked out of the night with some profit (+2.8) thanks to Valenciennes late winner. Which richly deserved btw if Nice had drawn that it would've been daylight robbery! Nice call by KavkaZ on that VA win. No idea how Montpellier didn't win like you say Senk. I can't believe the game didn't end over, I had pretty much written that bet in as as a winner at HT. Still, at least I was on the 2.25 line. Unlucky with your bets in that game. Yet again Reims win away, I'm beginning to think they have some sort of lucky charm when they play away from home this season, pretty crazy how good their results have been, most of them undeserved.

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th Hello guys tonight MONACO v PSG , anyone got infos or value on this game meatman, senk...? Ranieri said "PSG are already Champions this year too, i'm focus on the next match against Bastia next week.." ? Blanc and his Group knows it can be THE GAME to get another Ligue1 this year (Monaco are the only challenger in this Ligue1) PSG or draw @1.27 can be a very solid bet but the odds is not very beautiful, maybe for an doubles or trebles

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th Nantes – Lyon Honestly, I’m very torn with this match! Part of me would love to back Nantes on a DNB line but they haven’t really been playing that well of late. Just 1 win in 6 games is hardly much of a good return. Plus they tend to have a very high % of defeats this season and few draws. For some strange reason, Nantes either just win or lose on a regular basis so taking them DNB is almost pointless! But they’re playing at home at a 14:00 KO time which of course interests me a lot. We saw yesterday how even a team like Lens under favourable conditions were sleepwalking at this hour. What worries me is how well Lyon managed to perform at Reims a few weeks ago though. I can’t get that game out of my head, how well they played was completely baffling, so maybe they could repeat it again here? I’m going to predict a Nantes win and seriously I’d love to back them, but I feel it’s too dangerous. Prediction: Nantes 1-0 Lyon NO BET I will post up a ‘cashico’ preview later in the day.

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th Well, hard game to predict yes. Lyon almost full squad for today only fullback M.lopes is out along with benzia and dabo. No important missings tbh and I expect lyon to bounce back. They rarely loose 2 in a row against mediocre opponents. Last week they were pretty unlucky to concede from a corner early in the game while they started pretty well. A red card for umtiti ruined the game before HT. Umititi returns cause he was suspended in midweek. Under normal circumstances I'm not expecting Lyon to loose back to back games. They were in fine form lately. Nantes are struggeling these days and especially upfront they can hardly damage the opponent. They will be without 2 pretty important offensive players for this game. Bedoya 19 games 3 goals and Aristeguieta 18 games 2 goals. Djordjevic is a ghost these days so they really lack firepower for todays game. A fullback scored their goal against psg. 1 goal in 4 games is poor and Lyon has a pretty solid defense normally. Only a terrible performance by Lyon can deliver nantes 3 point today if you ask me. Lyon can always score goals with their potential upfront and I expect them to do so today. But it's still a tough game so only small stakes for me on lyon to keep a cleansheet and small stakes on the away win. Goodluck

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th FT 1-2. Lyon delivered well unlucky they conceded late in the game but I'm glad they won. I expect a tight game tonight, leaning towards monaco not to loose to be honest. Really solid at home and PSG does not have to win this game. They know they will be champions anyways. First meeting ended 1-1 and monaco will be eager to close the gap a bit. Falcao is out yes but the young guy germain plays great at the moment. Another 1-1 won't surprise me at all! Cavani is still out which is a blow for PSG. They don't win their games as simple as a few months ago. Under 2.5 goals is tempting.

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th Monaco – PSG This match being dubbed the ‘cashico’ fixture is obviously huge. The current gap between PSG and Monaco is 5 points so if the visitors managed to pick up 3 points then I think you can pretty much say the title race is over. In all reality, even if this match ends a draw then PSG will still hold a massive advantage. In my opinion, Monaco have done very well to obtain 49 points so far this season. There have been many matches in which they haven’t actually played that well. Compared to PSG they never seem to dismantle teams very much, often prevailing in closer encounters. Few of their wins are ever comfortable and you could argue that they don’t deserve to have as many points as they currently do. That’s not to say they shouldn’t be respected though. A home record of 8-2-1 is very impressive and they’ve generally handled themselves pretty well in big fixtures against higher reputation clubs. In the previous match-up they performed well at the Parc, holding PSG to a 1-1 draw. However, it must be noted that Monaco were generally playing better in the early stages of the season and also had the X factor of Falcao to rely on. PSG are obviously a monstrous team and it’s rare they drop any points these days. Usually the only matches they fail to win are when the players are lazy and take it too easy, or if pitches and bad weather intervene. Neither of these factors are likely to apply tonight. It’s such a big game there’s no way PSG won’t be ‘up for it’ and the forecast is set dry. The pitch at Le Stade Louis II will be absolutely fine too, which suits PSG. The biggest problem when analysing this fixture for betting purposes is to work out exactly how powerful and strong PSG really are, in the context of ligue 1. Obviously everyone knows they are definitely the best team in France, but how big is the margin between themselves and Monaco? Is the Parisians supremacy so much that they deserve to be outright favourites tonight? This is a very difficult question to answer, so tough in fact that I’m not even sure I could be confident in giving a correct reply. It’s like asking the question of how powerful Barca and Real are in Spain. Everyone knows they are extremely strong, but to what extent? For me, this is one of the most difficult games of the season to predict and all 3 results are possible. PSG might come here tonight, be attacking, play to their absolute best and want to teach Monaco a lesson. But equally they could be conservative and realise that a draw would actually be a good result for them. This isn’t a match that they HAVE to win at all, one point from it would be fine. On the other hand Monaco realistically need to win to get back into the title race but if it’s 1-1 with 10 mins left are they really going to go mental and risk defeat? Not for me they won’t. I honestly just can’t call this one. PSG usually raise their game for matches like this, but because they don’t ‘have’ to win then I think it’d be dangerous backing them. Gun to my head I’d take Monaco +0.25 but this is a clear no bet situation for me. Just watch and enjoy the fixture is my best advice. Prediction: Monaco 1-1 PSG NO BET

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th Well, I'm on monaco to win or draw. They really surprised me in a positive way this year even without falcao. Van der wiel is defensively one of the weakest links in PSG defense. Monaco's wingers will cause a lot of troubles there. Ok, a superb zlatan can win this game alone but lately he has been more off the pitch than on the pitch if you know what I mean. If his concentration isn't 100%, psg lacks ideas going forward. I'll try monaco to score with medium stakes and monaco +0.5 also medium stakes.

Re: Ligue 1 Orange > February 7th - 9th perfect result as expected! FT 1-1 :D They saved my weekend! Also had some stakes on the draw in a combo with Alcorcon draw thankfully! Montpellier was a real led down but fine weekend so far. Cu next week guys!
