Re: Scottish Football > December 30th - January 5th Odds for Hibernian looks very atractive to me . After a good match and 3-0 win over Kilmarnock I really belive Hibs catch another win against poor Hearts. Have in my mind last 1-1 match of Hearts but don't think it is a milestone point as Gary Locke said. I know this is a derby match and it's gonna be tough nut to crack but if Craig Samson will be doing so well as against Killie's he will stop Hearts. After all im happy to back on Hibs with 1.95 home win. :hope

Re: Scottish Football > December 30th - January 5th Aberdeen value to beat Utd on the DNB market today, injury concerns for utd and a couple of suspensions might sway this in the dons favour, but it's a derby and anything goes..... Re: Scottish Football > December 30th - January 5th Was thinking under 2.5 goals in the Hibs v Hearts game. Hibs have been under in 9 of 10 home games. Only one over was the last game (where they scored the 3rd goal in the 90th minute) Both these teams are horrendous 1st half performers with just 5 goals scored in 20 1st half games ? 1.7 for the under 2.5 goals for 2 units stanjames

Re: Scottish Football > December 30th - January 5th Kilmarnock - St Mirren Today will be played the final two matches of the 20th round in the Premier League championship in Scotland. Consider a match in which Kilmarnock (9th place and 18 points) will be taking on their stadium St Mirren (8 th place and 20 points). As you can see , clubs separated by just 2 points, while St Mirren played one game less. Play total over 2.5 goals 1.95 Pinnacle Sports Head 2 Head fights: Season 2013/2014 17.08.2013 St Mirren - Kilmarnock 1:1 Season 2012/2013 18.05.2013 Kilmarnock - St Mirren 1:3 03.04.2013 Kilmarnock - St. Mirren 1:1 02.01.2013 St Mirren - Kilmarnock 1:1 22.09.2012 Kilmarnock - St. Mirren 3:1 Season 2011/2012 02.05.2012 Kilmarnock - St. Mirren 0:2 31.03.2012 St Mirren - Kilmarnock 4:2 02.01.2012 Kilmarnock - St. Mirren 2:1 24.09.2011 St Mirren - Kilmarnock 3:0 Season 2010/2011 26.02.2011 Kilmarnock - St. Mirren 2:0 03.01.2011 St Mirren - Kilmarnock 0:2 11.09.2010 Kilmarnock - St. Mirren 2:1 Season 2009/2010 24.04.2010 St Mirren - Kilmarnock 1:0 20.02.2010 Kilmarnock - St. Mirren 1:1 02.01.2010 St Mirren - Kilmarnock 1:0 29.08.2009 Kilmarnock - St. Mirren 1:2 Yes, only 7 of the last 17 matches played our total , but even in 7 games were scored 2 goals ... this total over 2.5 goals played in 5 of the last 9 games on "Rugby Park" and other 4 games in this stadium scored 2 goals each. Clubs do not decide and do not put ambitious targets this season but both have an incentive to get into the top 6 teams, that will prevent clubs from hassle in the end of the season and will eliminate the struggle for survival. Until 6th place St Mirren -5 points (a game in hand ) and Kilmarnock - 7 points. There is something to fight for today's match for both clubs. Generally , St Mirren in 18 games scored 19 goals (average 1.06 goals per game) and conceded 28 goals (average 1.56 goals per game), while total over 2.5 goals was broken in 9 out of 18 matches. And Kilmarnock in 19 games scored 23 goals (average 1.21 goals per game) and conceded 32 goals (average 1.68 goals per game) and total over 2.5 goals was broken in 12 of 19 games . Look, for Kilmarnock today do not play James Fowler (8 games) , Ismael Bouzid (4 games), David Silva (3 games) and midfielder Ruben Gabriel (2 games). St Mirren loss even worse , do not play Mark Makoslend (13 games), James Goodwin (17 games) and winger Gary Stewart (8 games) , another defender Lee Mayor (5 games) in question. I believe that the forecast has quite a high % of passage , set to total more than 2.5 goals as the main bet. Others: 3-2 (CS) 29.0 BetVictor

Re: Scottish Football > December 30th - January 5th Elgin City travel to Peterhead today, minus their 1st choice goal keeper, who was sent off in their last match. Peterhead are on a good run of form, having won 4 out of 5 of their last matches. The odds of 4/7 offered by Sky bet are worth a go. Small stakes.

Agree with everything that has been said. But given that 3 of their last 4 meetings have ended 1:1 i prefer to go with BTTS-Yes just in case this scenario happen once again.

Elgin City travel to Peterhead today, minus their 1st choice goal keeper, who was sent off in their last match. Peterhead are on a good run of form, having won 4 out of 5 of their last matches. The odds of 4/7 offered by Sky bet are worth a go. Small stakes.
Draw at 5.0 is much better value. Look at the two teams' home and away records, and h2h.

Re: Scottish Football > December 30th - January 5th Hibs must be worth a bet just on the evidence of what Hearts manager Gary Locke says "Im not one for making excuses, its not in my nature, but with having five players out, thats a crisis for us".This will not be much of a spectacle to watch, but even hibs can surely find a way to win this match.Kllie won 0-4 at Hearts recently then played Hibs a few days later and got beat 3-0,its just a little indicator that points me in the direction of betting on a home win.Hibs 4/7 at bet 365.

Re: Scottish Football > December 30th - January 5th HIBERNIAN v HEARTS Football – Scotland – Premier League Thursday 2nd January 2013 – Kickoff: 21:45 hrs January 2, in the framework of the 20th round of the Scottish Premier League will be held on one of the oldest football derby - the Edinburgh's. Hibernian - Hearts - this match, which in Scotland is always eagerly awaited , regardless of what positions reside clubs. The first match between the teams took place in the distant 1875 and then celebrated the victory of Hearts - 1:0. Since then much water has flowed , clubs had its ups and downs, but the spirit of the derby since those early days annually covers residents of Edinburgh, who faithfully support favorite team. In this case the teams in the championship are not doing well. If Hibernian in the middle of the standings (7th) and behind the upper zone of the playoffs just by one point , then Hearts closes the standings with a surprising indicator -2 points. The thing is that with the club's debts were deducted -15 points. It is worth noting that 13 points that won the team anyway , would not have helped him rise even on the penultimate place - Ross County (11th place ) at one point more. Problems Hearts - primarily financial. Club in debt, prohibited from acquiring new players. All the best players went to other teams , Hearts essentially playing youngsters + several veterans left after the financial collapse of the club. Hibernian - solid middle placed , the main thing - motivated , as team balances between the first and second halves of the table. In Scotland , if you do not know , at the end of season 6 best teams play for places in the European Cups , 6 worst play for survival. Hibernian is now 7th , 1 point behind 6th place - that is, have to win to get into the lead 6. Where else can score points , if not at home. So the difference is obvious , one team - competitive and motivated , the other - play for fun. Once everything comes out too sweet ... So, what we have learned ... ,,, guests are in debt , losing in recent games all in a row (except the last) , including the last home game with a score of 0-4 , playing youngsters and in general bottom place... The hosts, do not miss the past three games in the last two won , the motivation to rise above is ... on the way out we have: 1. outsider away .. and the favorite home ... definitely a home win ... ? Maybe ... but that's something I can not remember the last time I gave bookmakers money , that even all this in a match like this ... Odds bookmakers for this event came about two weeks ago , plus or minus ... And, initially on a home win , bookmakers gave from 1.80 - 1.95 ... with all that problems Hearts at that time were already ... it turns out that bookies did not know ?)) ) In short , if this bet everything is so easy to win Hibernian , are supposed to give, somewhere 1.20 - 1.30 and not 1.50 - 1.55 ... these odds appeared as a result of wild overdrive on hosts, simply because there is nothing more to put ... I think that if there is a great desire to have to put this game in the handicap guests , there is a definite ... And Value so statistically in favor of the guests , I can say that ... 3 wins in the championship for the hosts hell knows when they do not miss 3 games in a row (from Hearts goal is already possible to wait), Boxing Day , not only in the English Premier league, tired all ... Finally, a wounded club is always dangerous ... Maybe I'm wrong , but I think the basis of that psychology, at a distance it will be much more effective than the primitive blind betting. Re: Scottish Football > December 30th - January 5th

Odds for Hibernian looks very atractive to me . :hope
