Lots of good racing today & plenty to pick from: 3.50 Good WHISTLER to go close on his favoured ground. Off 88 today still 4lb higher than last winning mark but has been known to come good around this time of year. Whatever it does today, will be looking for it to run at Sandown in a few weeks time. 5pts ew @ 11/1 Hills 3.25 Newm THE VIOLIN PLAYER - i picked up a bit of info from the newspaprs that this has been working well on the gallops & should show improvement on previous outing at Epsom. 10pts win @ 7/2 Bet365 2.55 Newm SKYLARKER - could have been a shade unlucky on reappearance at Windsor a few weeks ago. Off a nice low weight today. Need to consider whether Saturdays should be no more than a 20pt stake as I dont seem to pick up the winners on what i think is the most difficult day of the week for betting. Today it goes off 92 so up another 4lb so will find it tough. I wont be touching it today now as I was hoping it would run at sandown over the weekend. Dazzling Bay missed the break and was behind a wall of horses when he needed to make ground. The pair met at Windsor last week however this time Celtic Mill is 4lb better off for 1/2 l. This is for the Temple stakes at Sandown on Tues evning @ 7.15. Glad to get the early 36 available last night. In stall 11 of 14, think this can lead throughout & just stay on as others in unfavourable low draws with have to come down the outside.
