Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th Few words about Bulgaria - Armenia. For me this is a No Bet game. The momentum is perhaps on Bulgaria's side, but there is no value in the odds. And I will tell you why is that in my opinion. First of all in Bulgaria not only the national, but the club teams too, have this incredible ability to win or lose any type of game. I don't know how they do it, but we can win or at least put up a great fight against good teams (like Italy) and then lose at home to a team like Cyprus (or Armenia). I don't know how they do it, but it happens. Right now in Bulgaria everybody is prizing the team and talking about the great performance against Italy, thus rising everybody's expectations and expecting a victory on Tuesday, yes but Armenia are no pushovers and I doubt this would be an easy game. They won against Malta, a difficult 1-0 victory indeed, but still 3 points are 3 points and as they showed in the Euro qualifications, they have improved a lot in recent years. I wouldn't be surprised if they settle for a point in Bulgaria, I mean I hope we can get all the points, but as I said odds ~ 1.75 are not appealing to me, because the game could easily end up 0-0 or 1-1. Defender Ivanov is doubtful and this would be a big loss in defense IMO, but apart from that Penev should have all players available at his disposal. I don't know what the other Bulgarians in the forum think, but I'll definitely stay away from this game and if we play similarly to how we did against Italy, only then I can start backing us up. Good luck!

Good post and no matter how much I hate to say it but Armenian football team really improved in the past few years. In EURO 2012 qualifiers they did well and were unlucky in their last away game against Ireland and would have most likely won if it wasn't for the red card shown to their goalkeeper. This time they have tough group, but apart from Italy they are capable of getting enough points and finishing above Bulgaria, Denmark and Czech Rep. But I don't think Armenians will lose this one, so Armenia or Draw @ 2.00 with most bookies might be a decent option.

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th San Marino - Montenegro Even though San Marino loses most of their games without scoring a goal, I have seen slight improvements in their game. During EURO 2012 qualifiers they played some decent games at home losing just 0-1 to Finland and managing 0-0 at half time against Sweden. Upon checking their games in EURO 2012 qualifiers (both home and away) I have noticed that in 7 out of their 10 games they have conceded more goals in the second half. San Marino know that they don't have any chance of winning against professional teams so they focus on defense and try not to concede much and I don't think this game will be any different. So, I guess there won't be more than 1 or maximum 2 goals in the first half and most of the goals will be scored in the second half when San Marino players will get tired. Highest Scoring Half: 2nd @ 1.95 (3 units) Bet365 _________________________________________________ Hungary - Holland Holland played well against Turkey winning 2-0 and they also did well during EURO 2012 qualifiers, winning 9 games and losing just 1 when they have already won the group. Back they they met with Hungary twice winning 5-3 at home and 4-0 away. In 2010 these sides met in a friendly and Holland won 6-1. I think Holland will have a good qualifying campaign and will most likely win all of their games and in my opinion the price on them is good and will only drop closer to kick off. Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th Cyprus vs Iceland over 2.5 @ 2.38 (Coral) 3/10 Not a major play but I can't see why unders is priced as low as 1.6-1.67 for this game. I can see the last three head to heads have gone under but other than that these teams tend to score goals and are lax defensively. I'd say the unders meetings are probably a result of normal deviation and not that important a factor. Iceland got a great result at the weekend, beating Norway 2-0. They have a good, experienced manager in Lars Lagerback and he will be aiming for the second place spot. To get this a win in Cyprus will be vital, as they have tricky fixtures to come- Norway, Slovenia and Switzerland away; all games where the best they can realistically hope for is a point. Cyprus meanwhile started poorly, losing to Albania. They need to bounce back with a win so I can see both teams going for it.

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th Portugal - Azerbaijan Even though there are many quality players in Portugal, for some reason they don't play as a well organized unit in my opinion and the game against Luxembourg which they won after falling 0-1 down proves it. They do have good front line, but their defense is weak and I am not saying that based on their result against Luxembourg only. During EURO 2012 qualifiers they 2 clean sheets in 8 games and conceded 12 goals. Azerbaijan have improved in recent years and I am not saying that because I am Azeri. We played well against Israel at home and if we manage to do so again against Portugal I can see us scoring a goal.We managed to do so against Israel and during EURO 2012 qualifiers we scored in 8 out of 10 games. Both to Score @ 3.75 (2 units) Bet365 ________________________________________ N. Ireland - Luxembourg I think Luxembourg are underestimated by bookies here. They played really well against Portugal and teams from Luxembourg did well in the Champions League and Europa League qualifiers and I would say that they are more likely to take anything from this game than N. Ireland, and they will be very motivated after their performance against Portugal. N. Ireland are an average side in my opinion and during EURO 2012 qualifiers they won only 1 game at home against Faroe Islands, however they did manage a draw against teams like Italy and Slovenia, but lost to Estonia. So, they are obviously inconsistent side and you never know how they will play. However, I would not say that N. Ireland are such a strong favorites to be @ 1.44 and the value is on Luxembourg. Luxembourg +1 @ 2.62 (2 units) Bet365

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th Not usually a fan of multiples (or anything else the bookies try to entice you with in special offers) but i'm going for 3 very safe homes this midweek in my opinion. Combined odds only total 1.6 here so make no mistake i'm sticking my neck out here by any stretch, i just feel it's going to take something massive for this not to come home. BOSNIA V LATVIA - HOME WIN 1.23 BETFAIR No disrespect to Latvia, they have been improving at decent rate the lats few years but realistically i can't see them posing too much trouble in Bosnia. They put up a decent fight against the Greeks and would have been looking for something from the match after going 1-0 up but didn't have enough to see it out and that's a concern for them going into this match. As for Bosnia, they are a team i've rated for a while especially at home. Coming off the back of scoring 8 at the weekend, only against Liechtenstein i know but we've seen many at team struggle to get the points at lowly nations nevermind hitting 8 in the process. Quite simply they have far too much for Latvia to handle. TURKEY V ESTONIA - HOME WIN 1.26 BETFAIR Once again major respect for Estonia in the way they have improved over the last few years and getting to the Euro Play-offs last time out is no mean feat. Going to a place like Turkey is, however, daunting for the best of teams and i just don't think they have enough quality to get the point they would grab with both hands. After watching the highlights of their home encounter against an average Romanian side, the defending looked shoddy and they didn't look clinical enough to take their chances, chances that will be few and far between in Turkey. As for Turkey not too much to be said really, big nation, solid and intimidating at home and will be raring to go after the toughest of starts in Amsterdam where they caused the Dutch some problems. Makes a change from them doing it to themselves! Like Bosnia should have far too much for their opponents. ROMANIA V ANDORRA HOME WIN 1.03 BETFAIR As i've said not a fan of multiples and certainly not usually a fan of adding 1.03's to the mix but i'm going large on this one and a Romania win adds a fair bit to my potential win with very little risk. We all know there are no 'sure things' in Sports Betting but let's be honest this is as close as it gets. Watched a pretty average Hungary team take 5 off Andorra at the weekend and it'll be a miracle to see them come away from this one without similar punishment. They are pretty much a League Two or Conference team playing International Football and was looking at some sort of handicap but this is just a little odds booster that i don't need to take much risk in. As i mentioned i don't think Romania are anything special but any team worth their salt should have no worries taking care of Andorra and with Marica up front they have a striker in form who'll be looking to have a field day.

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th I wonder if BTTS: NO represents any value in the Romania - Andorra game @1.30 with bet365? Looking at Andorra's stats in their last 15 away games in both EC qualification and WC qualification they have scored only 4 goals and not surprisingly have lost all 15 games. On Friday I remember HastGill having similar tip on the Germany - Faroe game at the same odds, but I think this looks even safer considering how poor Andorra are away from home. But maybe a little help from some of the Romanian tipsters around would be helpful, because I wouldn't be surprised if Romania underestimate slightly the game. Thanks in advance. Here are all Andorra games away from home from 2006 to nowadays in EC and WC qualifications: http://www.soccerway.com/matches/2012/09/11/europe/wc-qualifying-europe/romania/andorra/1239712/ View eventsMore info

Certainly does! For me anyway :lol.. I watched the whole of Andorra v Hungary on friday and Andorra threatened a couple of times but Bogdan wasn't really called into making any saves, Hungary aren't a good side but they knocked 5 past them, with relative ease I must add. The odds aren't great which is why I haven't posted anything up here, Romania are hardly world beaters but Andorra can't string any passes together in the final third and I think we would be pretty unlucky to see a Moldova goal. Romania beat a weak Estonia side 2-0 in the away game on Fri and will be at maximum points from 2 games after they win on Tues, there is always a chance Andorra will get a consolation late on but as long as Romania keep concentration levels up they should be fine. Scoreline wise it could be anything between 3-0 to 7-0 I would have thought. Bwin are offering 1.28 on Montenegro winning to nil against San Marino as well if you are interested.

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th MPLouis, honestly, I don't know (Fedar and the other Bulgarians, where are you when I need you :lol). Reading some of the interviews with the players and the coach it appears that they are all motivated to win and all agree that the great game against Italy will go to waste if they lose tomorrow. Moreover, key defender Ivanov should be back since his injury wasn't so serious. I still feel that it will be a difficult game, so looking at the odds for +0.5 for Armenia that you have posted it definitely makes it more appealing betting wise, but as a Bulgarian I will just enjoy the game as a supporter. 1-0 for Bulgaria would be great, but for some reason I still lean more towards the draw...in any case I am staying away from the game, but maybe some of my fellow Bulgarians would be more convincing and help you decide what to play. Good luck either way :)

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th Here we are the Bulgarians :-) I advise this to be a no-bet for you fellows, but in case somebody puts a gun against your head and makes you pick something from this match, I would say the value should be with Armenians on a small handicap. This will be a very different game than the one vs. Italy. Now the expectations are much higher, and the pressure on the team rises correspondingly. I am worried, because Armenia loves to play on the counter-attack and our defenders are sometimes vulnerable when they are left too exposed from the defensive midfielders and this could be the case here, as we will need to take the initiative and look for goals. Armenia has dangerous men up-front, and particularly Mkhtaryan is currently being the best man in the Ukrainian league, scoring almost each game for Shakhtar. Bulgaria might be missing Ivanov from Partizan in defense, which is still not certain. I believe he will be ready but not so sure if he will be very fit. The team will play with good spirit after the display against Italy. Nevertheless, I know well the philosophy of coach Lubo Penev, and I am sure that he will try assure that his team does not open up too much and get vulnerable in defense. This game should be a low-scoring one, and I smell something like 1:0 for Bulgaria, or 0:0/1:1. But unless Armenians score some early goal, it should definitely be a low-scoring game.

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th San Marino vs Montenegro Under 3.5 @ 1.97 (Nordic Bet) 6/10 If we look at San Marino's recent results at home, they've only been beaten by big margins by top sides. They lost 0-3 to Hungary and Slovenia, 0-2 to Moldova, 0-1 to Finland and 0-1 to Romania (friendly). If we go further back the trend is the same. All these games would have seen this bet win. Montenegro are a decent side but not massive scorers. They seem to be a little less underish under the new boss (they were an unders backer's dream under Zlato Kranjcar) but still...they don't score that many and have a good defence. You'd expect them to keep a clean sheet here with ease, whilst at the same time as a new national team they have yet to play any of the real minnows; I think they will struggle to rack up a huge win against an ultra-defensive, reasonably well organised San Marino team. I see a 0-2 or 0-3 on the cards here, I think there is value with the under 3.5 goals @ 1.97. I have also placed a bet (10/10) on Bosnia to beat Latvia @ 1.25 with Coral. This has been covered but Bosnia are a good side who usually have a serious go at qualification. They have been blessed with a reasonable group this time, with Greece and Slovakia their rivals, realistically speaking; this is a group they can not only qualify from but also win outright IMO. This is a game they need to win in order to do that. These kind of match-ups rarely produce a shock result, Latvia haven't managed to produce any real shocks in recent years whilst Bosnia have not slipped up in this sort of game either (they have been let down with their games against the stronger nations). Bosnia will always be an intimidating place for visitors and their supporters should be in full voice after the impressive win at the weekend.

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th Hello there guys!:ok A few words about Switzerland vs Albania at Luzerne tomorrow... An extraordinary match will be played there because for the first time in our history,Albania will have more than 10.000 supporters in the stadium. And imagine the stadium holds only around 17.000 fans so forget about the home advantage. It's a home game for us,albanians! Too many organized fans will travel there including some 3.000 fanatics who will also celebrate their 8th year of creation on the day and as well too many albanians or residents with albanian origin live in Switzerland and surely will be in the stadium. Furthermore 5-6 regular starters for Switzerland, Behrami, Xhaka brothers, Dzemaili, Mehmedi and Shaqiri are all...ALBANIANS!:) Of course it will be too emotional for them and the pressure from the stands will be sky-high... The majority of the fans(and all ultras) will be wearing some special shirts with some 'spicy' words referred to the 'traitors' mentioned above... It will be extraordinary as I stated above and regarding the bets which I'll consider here they are... NO SCORE DRAW at odds 10.25 10bet. ALBANIA STRAIGHT WIN at odds greater than 10 and as a back-up SWITZERLAND TO WIN BY ONE GOAL at odds 3.4 10bet.

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th Israel - Russia Under 2.5 @1.73 Betfair. I doubt if Capello will gona risk a lot in Israel, he is known for 1-0, 2-0 results and I preddict here prety tight fight. Wouldn't write off also a draw... Russia looked quite pragmatic in the first game against Northern Ireland and the pace for the game was quite slow. This is definitely not the same Russian team who we saw when Hiddink or Advocat was in charge. And despite making a lot of combination in the middlefield, the finishing part for players wasn't very succesfull. Hard to say why, but at Zenit Kerzhakov can score a lot, but in national team, he just misses the shots. All in all it looks like it will take some time for this team to play like Capello wants and don't see a lot of goals here. As for starting eleven... it should be exactly the same as against Northern Ireland.

San Marino vs Montenegro Under 3.5 @ 1.97 (Nordic Bet) 6/10 If we look at San Marino's recent results at home, they've only been beaten by big margins by top sides.
Do you not think there is better value in the correct scores markets here? On the general assumption that San Marino won't score here: 1-0, 2-0 & 3-0 can be dutched @2.65 2-0 & 3-0 @3.33

You're absolutely right. Too late now; the bet has been placed, but thanks anyway, gives me a thought for next time. I would definitely include the 1-0 as I wouldn't rule that out.

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th

Luxembourg also haven't won away since 2008, and have lost 5-0 in Wales in the meantime, amongst other horror shows. I'd go with the home side here.

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th Israel v Russia-Russia to win @ 21/20 William Hill 8/10 Units I like this Russia team and on there day feel they could beat anyone. In Capello they now have a coach who is a proven winner (forget England they need a miracle not a manager) and can really do something with this Russia squad. Russia looked impressive on friday against a poor northern ireland team who couldn't really give the russians a test and im expecting the same with Israel. Russia have lost only 1 in there last 19 games whilst Israel havn't managed a win in the last 5. At 21/20 i feel Russia are definitely worth a few quid here. Austria v Germany Really fancy the germans to do well at the next few tournaments as they have a really strong team. The group they've been handed has been kind to them and i'd expect them to win the group very easily, maybe even with a 100% record. They should be far too strong for this Austria team who have never beaten them in the head to head. France v Belarus France have lost only 2 of there last 27 games and they way i see it they will want to qualify as smoothly as possible and a home win over Belarus here should be comfortable here. I can see them knocking 2 or 3 past an average Belarus side who have won only 1 of the last 9 games. France and Germany Double @ 1.7 Bet365 10/10 Units

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th Cyprus v Iceland (18:00 BST) Iceland over (1) @1.85 Marathonbet. Iceland won their 1 math 2-0 against strong Norway, when Cyprus lost to Albania. Think that Iceland in a better form and can score at least 1 (money back). Iceland showed that they can be very dangerous away (3-2 with Sweden and France for example 3,5 monthes ago). Also will take them with AH(0) with 2,18. Another thoughts: Croatia - Belgium: Croatia can make x2 easily, price for them is too high. England-Ukraine: Cant decide taking my home team with AH(+1,5) against England without Terry and Rooney, still thinking..

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th England - Ukraine Referee for this game is Turkish Cuneyt Cakir who is known for showing decent number of cards. In the last 7 games he was in charge of he showed 4 or less cards in just 2 of the said 7 games and in 2 games he showed a red card. Furthermore, these two sides met recently during EURO 2012 and I am quite sure Ukraine will remember their disallowed goal in that game and I have a feeling that this match will be more for them than just regular qualifying game. So, in my opinion it is very likely that we will see quite enough cards in this game and the likelihood of this happening is better than the odds suggest. Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th Treble Georgia-Spain + Romania-Andorra + Sweden-Kazakhstan Spain, Romania and Sweden not to concede @2.73 4/10 bet365 Spain will have about 65% possession. They alway have a rock solid defence which doesn't allow opponent's offensive a lot. Georgia hasn't got any remarkable player. Romania has a renewed squad but against those non-professionals, they shouldn't concede. The same about Sweden. Their opponent has just 2 players that are not playing in the domestic league. Very low quality. I give this treble good chances. GL

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th Norway - Slovenia Pick: Norway to win, Norway scores a goal I don't think Slovenians are capable to beat Norway. Even though Slovenian on friday had a ball in their possesion for a lot of time they were not confident, they sucked. Team was not organized well. I think coach Stojanović did not did a good job at forming the team for game against Switzerland. Today it'll be the same. Stojanović said it will be a hard game, but they really want to win. I don't think win is possible for Slovenians.

Re: World Cup Qualfiers - Europe > Sept 11th And something more: On friday, as I said we were not confident enought. We didn't took not a single change in attack to score a goal! When you are as confused as we were on friday, it's impossible to expect something more than to loose. Honestly. I hope Stojanović will form a good team today. It will be a hard game today, also for Norway couse they lost against Iceland (which was kind of embarassing). Norway needs to win. Slovenia needs to win. Both teams have a desire to win. But as for me, Norway is a better team here. And they will play at home.

I can not agree with this. :) Montenegro is playing really well in last games and they scored 2 goals against Poland. I think that they will score at least 4 goals here. Don't be angry :) Just my opinion. We shall both see what will happen as nothing is for sure.
