wibs
Re: League 1 > September 8/9 Bees to win at 1.9 is enormous value. we cant defend any worse than we did at walsall, plus Bidwell will start, plus Donaldson and AlLagui look like scoring thewhole time, plus Forrester is rumored to be finally starting. RedDevil92
Re: League 1 > September 8/9 Notts County-Shrewsbury under 2.5 @1.91 5/10 willhill Wrong odds to me. Both very underish so far. Notts with 1 over and 3 under, Shrewsbury with 4/4 unders. Their coach said they need to strengthen their offense as soon as possible. Emergency transfers can be made from friday on for lower leagues. Probably they won't have someone already on saturday. GL
cocobear
Re: League 1 > September 8/9 Will be following Notts county at home for the over 2.5, they seem to have 4 strikers that are proven and 2 reserve young lads. Seems they can give us value this season.
Jase82
Re: League 1 > September 8/9 I personally think the price on Crawley should be snapped up. The bookies have done the right thing in setting our odds based on our revised squad, but there is a slight hint of them going the other way and giving us a big too much respect. The 1.95 on offer for Crawley with William hill is a standout price for Crawley. We may be signing a couple of players on loan between now and Sunday. Defender Paul Connolly has had his loan period cut short, and midfielder kieran djilali has moved on. Midfielder Connor Clifford (on loan from Chelsea) will be on ROI under 21 duty. Mustspha dumbuya will also be unavailable as he's on duty with sierra Leone. Winger Jordan obita will miss out too, following his sending off against Oldham. All this leaves us very short. Defender Hermann hreidarsson is training with us in the hope that he will be offered a contract, but I don't expect him to sign in time. Crawley @ 1.95 - William hill. DickosBetting
Re: League 1 > September 8/9 Swindon look good to me, Di Canio is a shrewd guy and Swindon are playing well, they lost to Oxford midweek, but home and league form is very good and they will be up for this, Crewe v Tranmere should be good, Crewe have just got an arsenal loanee who should be good in this league
Simmo
Re: League 1 > September 8/9 Have to agree with wibs on Brentford, 1.95 is now available with Stan James and appears decent enough value. Despite needing 2 late goals to salvage a point at Walsall, they had plenty of good chances before then and looked a good attacking outfit. Uwe Rosler made his disappointment with the team's failure to convert their chances clear after the game, and you have to feel they are more than capable of punishing a Colchester side who shipped 4 at Tranmere last week. sierro
Re: League 1 > September 8/9 on BBC Sports page : "Ian Henderson, Gavin Massey, John-Joe O'Toole and Kem Izzet could all start and Freddie Ladapo may be in the squad after scoring in three reserve games for Colchester" Donaldson and AlLagui good partnership in front for Bees, but i thought these news might keep the game under.I'll go for a Brentford win though.Maybe a home win by 1 margin is worth value. and i'll go for the away team at Bury - Preston @2.40 with Betsson. and combine these two with an away win at Yeovil - Bournemoth @2.75.Or should i just go for overs in that match, i haven't decided yet. Good luck to all.

MBOR
Re: League 1 > September 8/9 How can Harry Redknapp affect on Bournemouth? He is not there as a manager of course but went there in advisory role.So I wonder if there will be some boost in a few days as he is much appreciated there? I will also try Brentford as I am impressed by what Donaldson and AlLagui do in the league and Colchester are not anything big away.

henry14
Re: League 1 > September 8/9 Sheff.Utd to win away at Scunthorpe 1.90 with BET365.Sheff.Utd have no missing players. They sold Stephen Quinn to Hull but Flynn will replace him well as he did against Bournemouth.Dave Kitson will not play today but anyway they are an experienced side looking again for a promotion. As for Scunthorpe bottom of the table and still not creating and scoring goals. Notts County to win at home against Shrewsbury 2.00 with BET365.All five players missing for County during the midweek win over Scunny are back so a full squad good odds and u can try also correct score 2:0 9 with BET365. Walsall - MK Dons over 2.5 2.10 with BET365.Skipper Lewington is back for MK but Jimmy Bullard is doubtfull as MK r looking for their first away win.On the other hand Walsall have no new injuries as they r looking for their first home win .So i expect some goals here especially from MK Dons a team with good midfielders and forwards. Good luck
wisey10
Re: League 1 > September 8/9 Crewe v Tranmere Draw No bet @ 1.75 Sportingbet (5 points) Tranmere are unbeaten in the league so far and they are travelling to Crewe have been inconsistent. Theyve picked up some good results but have had a couple of thumpings to. The loss of Nick Powell and ashley Westwood have been a blow to Crewe this season and they could also be without Pogba in todays match. Tranmere have had an excellent start to the season and I think they will get another 3 points on board here against a young crewe side. With the draw no bet cover, the 3/4 available looks good value. Jase82
How can Harry Redknapp affect on Bournemouth? He is not there as a manager of course but went there in advisory role.So I wonder if there will be some boost in a few days as he is much appreciated there? Tbh as soon as I read that Harry Redknapp had been brought in at Bournemouth I thought he'd end up being manager in the longer term. It's a very similar situation to when Redknapp eventually took over at Portsmouth. I think even he would admit that when you bring people in above the management team, all it does is end up undermining them and isn't useful to the harmony of the dressing room. Although it sounds great on paper having him there in whatever "advisory" capacity they choose to call it, I think taking the position he'll have one eye on the main job. Harry redknapp's the sort of manager that loves the day to day part of managing, and I can't see him sitting on the sidelines, or not being around the training ground. Jase82
Pompey have brought in experienced 31 year old defender, Gabor gyepes on a one month deal. It's unclear whether he'll be available by tomorrow though as he requires international clearance. Gyepes does have decent pedigree having won 26 international caps and has spent 4 years at Cardiff, with spells at Northampton and wolves. If international clearance is given in time (as the deal was completed yesterday) then he will play at Crawley. Unfortunately we can't sign another player on loan as we were unable to cancel Paul connolly's loan From Leeds. But he's injured anyway. kevshat
Re: League 1 > September 8/9 3pts Coventry vs Stevenage - Draw 23/10 Coral These two sides have played eight league matches this season between them and five of them have ended in draws and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this one does too. Coventry clearly have a bit of a confidence issue at the minute while Stevenage would settle for a point in a fixture like this. In a way Stevenage wouldn’t have had anything to lose in this match before the season started but with Coventry struggling there might be a bit more pressure on them to go and win the game. I’m not sure they will though and a draw looks a good play to me here. Crawley have won their last 4 at home whilst Pompey have lost 3 drawn 1 of their last 4 away. Pompey fans - Is Kanu still there? If so, does he play? kevshat
Re: League 1 > September 8/9 4pts Crawley to beat Portsmouth 4/5 William Hill Portsmouth aren’t blessed with the squad depth to be able to cope with a few injuries whereas Crawley are more than sorted in that department and with the home advantage as well I think the hosts are a good bet at 4/5. One explanation for the odds swing is that punters thought Portsmouth's odds were too long.
