Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread Ok, I get your point. Like I said, it's not my kind of betting and also not the kind I'm used to because all my clients bet the same way I do (asian sportsbooks and asian handicap) but everybody has their own method and if it's profitable, excellent for you. Cheers

Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread Excellent, thanks Ive added your site to my favourites. I'm within 5 posts of being able to PM on here as long as the moderators don't give me a hard time for posting up Jazz Fusion links on tonights thread ! I hope they'll give me an easy time as I predicted and tipped the 0-0 on the Arg Jrs game :D Gotta say, this site is a pleasure to use, hassle free so far and everybody posting on here seems very level headed and does their homework thoroughly. Thanks, Martin

Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread MNC, had I read your preview earlier, and before the Rafaela match, then I would have definitely backed them to win. I know Banfield are awful, but I couldn't be sure without any knowledge other than what I knew from their results before Christmas. I'll be sure to follow your website next weekend however!! Nervous Anorak - the 0-0 was a great call! Obviously there is a decent chance of it happening in the Argentinian league, but regardless that was a great tip! I am happy with my winnings on under 1.5 and under 2.5 goals, and happier that I chose these as options and therefore had some coverage for possible goals (because goals can come from absolutely nowhere after all). Thanks again and I suppose let me formally welcome you to this forum too! There are a lot of good people on here, as you've already recognised. Quality > quantity. Over the course of the weekend I had two other Argentinian bets; 1. Boca Juniors clean sheet on Friday night - odds were 4/5 and I knew Boca Juniors would remain as responsible in defence as last season - especially when at home to Olimpo! 2. A lay of Estudiantes @ 1.7 odds. This was an absolute steal. Estudiantes are still being over-priced by people, and Newells Old Boys have ex-Paraguay manager and ex-club legend in charge now - Gerardo Martino, so I knew they had a good chance to pick up a result in La Plata. Hopefully the next 18 match weeks remain as profitable!

Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread Thanks for update M'neck, you're welcome. Boca almost conceded after 20 seconds, that would have put a dampener on it ! The season Estudiantes won the league they were absolute pants IMO, Velez were untouchable for entertainment in that campaign and finished runners up. Last season Velez destroyed them 4-0 in what was comfortably the most enjoyable match I saw in Argentina. Are there any midweek games in Argentina Prem this week ?

Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread Colon - Arsenal I find it hard to even get motivated to write about tonights fixture as it's likely to be yet another typical dull encounter. Looking at the stats and knowing how poor both these sides are from watching them regularly, it's another opportunity for a small stake on the 0-0 to begin with. As I said last night though, and I've done my research in the last year I can assure you, the averages are very reliable in this league and with only two x Over 2.5's in the weekends fixtures, I would not recommend betting on this to be Under 2.5 as it could be the "missing average," which is 7 Unders / 3 Overs. Neither would I recommend Over 2.5 though. Under 3.5 or 4.5 offer uninspiring odds at 1.22 and 1.07 so to me other than a small stake on the 0-0 I wouldn't touch it. Of course you could always bet Unders and see how the game is and then decide whether to trade out or not. Ask yourself the question if not sure : "Is this the only game of football I'll be able to bet on this week ?" The answer is an obvious no, so be disciplined if you can't see value. I can't split the game home, draw, or away, because neither team has been capable of dominating any fixture I've watched of them in the Apertura. Hope this has been of some help.

Colon had two big chances missed after you stopped watching, but anyway, I don't understand, is there anyone pointing you a gun to your face making you watch a league that you don't enjoy at all at 2am ? :) You have another 100 leagues to bet on, including about 5 or 6 in UK, plus lots of other sports (NBA is amazing and it's at the same time).

Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread Great, Colon had two chances in the first half, I wonder if either of them were on target or was that too much to expect ? No one's forcing me to watch it, no, but out of curiosity I started watching it in the hope that perhaps it might just be exciting. I was hoping for some reasonable entertainment, I didn't get any which is why I am no longer watching it.

That is fun, normally good games, and many goals.

Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread I lost the enthusiasm after 28 minutes as it was driving me mad. How long can you wait before you give up ? I know how bad matches in Arg are, if they start badly they are unlikely to change. The last Copa Lib was the best football I've seen in recent years, good to know we agree on something ! Uni Catolica, Velez, Cerro Porteno, Cruziero, some great matches.

Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread I never said there is good football in Argentina ! In fact we agreed the other day that there was very poor football. 2011 was the worst I've ever seen since I started watching in 1986 when I was 9 years old, but this doesn't mean I will stop watching. i know the players, the teams, the fans... I love it no matter how bad they play.

Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread There you go, just seen the update, 88 mins theres your sending off and by now you could have traded out the 0-0 at close to max profit. Such a shame I'm being so disciplined and having a few weeks off, no meaningful funds available after a big biz commitment but just look at what I could have had this weekend on Arg', 4 x 0-0 to start with. Oh, one more sending off 93 mins, what a great team Colon are.

Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread BANFIELD - VELEZ HALF TIME REPORT 0-2 One of the most one sided matches I've seen recently. Velez, for me the only Arg' side always worth watching, look excellent tonight. Some fantastic passing as usual and even when they lose the ball they seem to have someone in the right place to try to retrieve it. First goal was stunning build up, then by the second goal Banfield were already a beaten, dejected and totally confused side especially in and around the penalty area. At this point, for Velez the game resembled a training exercise. Banfield are really dreadful, they look even worse than last season and I'm amazed they haven't fired their manager, surely it can't be much longer can it ? In the second half I can't see Banfield scoring or completing the match with 11 players, there were signs of them beginning to lose their heads leading up to half time. Velez could score quite a few based on the first half showing.

Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread Did you see the first game tonight ? Great one ! 5 goals, awful refereeing but very entertaining. I hope you were not on any unders tonight !!! I don't fully agree with your HT report. Until the 1-0 Velez was a little better but Banfield had a couple of chances as well and they were fighting. Now yes, 0-3 and everything for Velez EDIT: Banfield has a different coach this year, not the same one.

Quote : I don't fully agree with your HT report You wouldn't agree with me if I told you water consisted of H 2 0, I've given up expecting you to. LOL I recognise the coach of Banfield though, where was he last year ?
10 days ago you said the only good team is Velez, and since then you talk bad about just every other team, but you "remember" to come and praise Velez. Where are you when games are entertaining and fun to watch ? Lanus game on Wednesday, Godoy Cruz yesterday ? Olimpo-Belgrano tonight ? I'm sorry to say this but unfortunately I also gave up on you accepting you can be wrong sometimes and that you don't know everything just by watching the league for a couple of months.

Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread Saturday matches Argentina There's 3 games tonight and it's obvious to me that there's a likelihood two of them could easily finish 0-0. Last night there were two games which were both Overs, scorelines 4-1 and 0-4, therefore the likelihood is that based on the league's averages, it's reasonable to expect at least 6 of the 8 remaining games to be Under 2.5 goals. Having studied this league heavily in the Apertura, the averages are usually very reliable. As there were only two Over 2.5's last week, I think we will see possibly four this week, the average being 3 Overs per 10 fixtures, or 7 Unders if you choose to read it that way. Newells v Arg Jrs : Both teams are so dull that I recommend a stake on the 0-0 here, and suggest the likelihood of Unders to be good. All Boys v Colon : Both teams are so dull that I recommend a stake on the 0-0 here, and suggest the likelihood of Unders to be good. There's been exactly 2 goals in each of the 3 previous meetings anywhere between these teams. Arsenal v Rafaela : I feel this one represents a good chance of Over 2.5 and whilst I rarely tip a match result in this league, surely this has home win written all over it, I have a feeling 2-1 or 3-1. The nagging worry of a 0-0 in this league rarely leaves me so I would still be tempted to cover any Overs bet with a stake on the 0-0. 5 of Rafaelas last 7 aways have been Overs 8 of Arsenals last 10 homes in all competitions have been Over 2.5 7 of Arsenals last 10 homes in all competitions have seen both teams score Arsenal have scored in all of thier last 10 home games Rafaela have not scored in their last 3 away games The reverse fixture in the Apertura was Rafaela 1 Arsenal 3 Hope this helps RESULTS : All 3 Under/Over tips corect, 1-0 / 2-0 / 2-2

Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread Come on people dont behave childishly. Any information is helpful and there is no need for discussion about non football things. All Boys v Colon Experienced Morel returns in home team, but another important player Quiroga is still out (Coronel replace him in defense line). Dominguez is one more injured defender for Jose Romero's team. It should be noted that All Boys had three more days of preparation for this match. On the other hand, most famous Colon player is out again (Chevanton, ex Lecce and Monaco striker). Colon had bad luck in the first round, to receive two red cards in last 5 minutes of the game. So Fuertes (key fw) and Bastia (regular mf) are suspended for this clash. All Boys DNB @1.60 looks better than under @1.50 that's just my thinking

Re: Argentina Primera Division 2012 Thread

The best advice I can give you, even though I'm confident you won't take it, is that if you continue to show everyone here that you don't even think methodically before replying to other peoples postings, or maybe it's just mine, then no one is going to take you seriously, in fact they've probably reached that conclusion already. I've tried my best but nothing is ever going to stop your need for confrontation.
It's obvious you are not understanding a word of what I'm saying because you didn't even one of the things I wrote straight. Probably my English language skills are not as good as I thought.

I agree overall with your analysis, but this is a must skip game in my opinion. All Colon's best results in 2011 came when playing away and winning games they were not expected too, and then they failed to win at home, while All Boys is definitely not a team I would trust. It should be UNDER, but odds are a joke to try (under 2 @ 1.85 is not the kind of bet I like). I will post one of my previews later, probably about Newells-Argentinos.
