They both have 28 points and want to remain close to 3rd place that leads to promotion. Guingamp is coming off of three consecutive defeats and Nantes is coming off 2 consecutive wins. Guingamp is an essentially average home team (4-3-2) but is difficult to defeat at home. Nantes is a slightly below average away team (2-3-5) that doesn't win much away. Both teams would be happy with a draw against a fellow promotion contender and the overall dynamics of the match make the draw result very likely, I think. Nantes played 10 games away and 6 games have ended with 2-3 goals. Nantes has higher quality than some league 1 teams and they are finally getting into that "winning form". They have lost just one of their last 8 home games in all competitions, winning 5. Le Mans' 1:0 succes against Guingamp at the weekend were their first win in 6 league games. Most of the experts in French football are saying that Amiens is the weakest weak side in this League. The gameplay is awfull and the team has no power in attack. 14 goals scored in 19 matches and you have the example. The defensive is looking pretty good with 19 goals conceded, 7th in this League which is the positive thing. You never win easy on their turf as they have just 3 defeats here with 5 draws and 2 wins. Monaco. we know all about Monaco so far, the problem is how will they perform in 2012?! The answer started to come up in their last 5 games, since 17 december, when they got a 2-2 away, to Le Havre.
