Poperinghe Ginger 14.20 Musselburgh 16 Pts Win @ 2\5 (bog)

2nd - led, not fluent 2nd, soon headed, led again after next, headed 2 out, hung left and no extra closing stages

Definitly Red 15.00 Kelso 17 Pts Win @ 1\7 (bog)

Has looked as good as ever this term, supplementing his Charlie Hall success in the Grade 2 Many Clouds Chase at Aintree in December. Disappointing if he can't win this match.

Definitly Red 15.00 Kelso 17 Pts Win @ 1\7 (bog)

2nd - led, pushed along after 3 out, joined next, soon headed, switched right before last, edged left flat, unable to get back on terms

This is like a yo-yo this season , get a good winner then followed by a couple of losers. Hard to call this year.

Kalashnikov 13.50 Sandown 18 Pts Win @ 4\7 (bog)

Smart hurdler who made a promising start over fences this term, winning small-field events at Warwick and Plumpton. No disgrace in going down to Dynamite Dollars last time and sets the standard here.

Chosen Path 15.50 Market Rasen 19 Pts Win @ 4\9 (bog)

2nd -  led, went right and pecked 1st, not fluent 4th, went right 6th and 4 out where brushed wing, ridden and went right 2 out, pressed when went right last, soon hung right and headed, no extra

Two two horse races recently and I have managed to pick the loser in each. Tomorrows pick I think will make or break the system for this year.

Dominateur 15.15 Lingfield 20 Pts Win @ 11\8 (bog)

Fairly useful form when placed in strong Chepstow events on his last 2 starts. The one to beat.

Coolanly 14.55 Wetherby 19 Pts WIn @ 2\5 (bog)

2nd - led until approaching 5th, remained well there, led again before 3 out, ridden and headed run-in, kept on

Azzerti 14.25 Ludlow 20 Pts Win @ 1\8 (bog)

Useful hurdler/chaser. Hampered when falling at Cheltenham last month. Clear round is all that is needed in this company.

1st @ 1\8 - made all, not fluent 6th, hit 10th, came clear from out unchallenged

Cap Du Nord 14.40 Sedgefield 20 Pts Win @ 4\6 (bog)

Produced an improved effort when runner-up at Exeter on New Year's Day. Left on the same mark and looks capable of going one better now.

Epatante 14.40 Exeter 20 Pts Win @ 2\9 (bog)

Grade 1 bumper winner in France and bright start for new connections when landing 2m Kempton novice hurdle in November. Open to considerable improvement and can't oppose.

Graasten 14.30 Plumpton 19 Pts Win @ 1\6 (bog)

Fairly useful hurdler who made a winning debut over the larger obstacles in 4-runner novice at Fontwell (21.6f) in October. Unseated at Cheltenham in November but can get back on track here.

Louis Vac Pouch 15.20 Catterick 20 Pts Win @ 4\9 (bog)

Won 4 of 5 completed starts over hurdles for Philip Hobbs in 2017 and made a winning debut for this yard in 4-runner novice on chase bow at Ludlow. Excellent chance of a follow up here.

John Williams 14.10 Musselburgh 20 Pts Win @ 4\6 (bog)

1st @ 4\6 -  led, jumped left 2nd, headed after 4th, blundered 4 out, rallied 2 out, stayed on strongly to lead towards finish

Master Baker 16.55 Taunton 20 Pts Win @ 1\3 (bog)

Unfortunate not to add further success to his hunter debut last year but he was back to winning ways in a point recently and is expected to take all the beating

Poppy Kay 17.20 Doncaster 20 Pts Win @ 1\33 (bog)

Useful hurdler, landing listed mares event at Sandown last season. Jumped with limited confidence on chase bow at Warwick when last seen in May and has since left Phillip Hobbs. Simple task here.

1st @ 1\16 - :drums     A good thing, go on ye good thing, what a price :lol . Raced keenly tracking leader, challenged 4 out, led on bit 2 out, soon clear, hard held.

Oleg 13.40 Kelso 20 Pts Win @ 5\6 (bog)

Fair on the Flat in Germany and made a bright start over hurdles when second at Pau (17.4f, soft) in December. Seems sure to improve having joined Paul Nicholls.
