But home side has their main goal this year and this is to become champions. They are in good position, third spot in the league table, 3 pts less then title candidates Cruzeiro and Fluminense so anything bellow clear home win will be surprise for me. Moreover Corinthians will welcome back key attacker Dentinho who is recovering fron injury, but he will be fit to play at least 45 minutes which is great. Ronaldo and Jarley will be in front too. Flamengo manager has nothing to affraid of and he will put very ofensive formation with 3 strikers in front 4-3-3. Main problem for hosts will be in defence sector as they miss left back Vicente, and they don´t have appropriate replacement because his substitute Hernani is out too. Santos will try tough mission, to become Brazil champions, this is not unimposible but they will have hard task to do. But still i belive in this side and this line is ok by me against not so good Vitoria side. Santos with Ze Eduardo and Neymar in attack. As for Botafogo they have very good chances in title fight much better then Santos and i belive they will overcome all time draw and draw period and finaly get great victory in front of their own fans at full stadium. Ganso was injured during a match versus Gremio. Renato Haucho has only two missings, Souza suspended (but this will not be such a big problem, Rochemback is back), and defender Gilson (not important) Hosts are struggling being 4 point behing Guarani, first place out of relegation zone. They have 2 important missings in defensive compartiment: Rafael Toloi and Jonilson. I really don't now how they can escape relgation, they have a terrible schedule playing 4 away games and 3 home (against Gremio, Santos and Corinthians). Even worse, it seems that Goias have some financial promblems. Big quality gap here, Gremio can surley take 3 points. I ended today with a loss on a 92' goal in Chelsea, a push in Botafogo on a 93' goal and a push in this game (I had Flamengo DNB)...the overs, meanwhile, were easy. Bagzi is always here, the guy is more like an institution now ;)...There was a couple of guys from Brasil here adding extra flair and opinions plus useful links but I haven't seen them for 10-14 days now. The thread is becoming more popular now, the State Championships starting soon are ever so exciting, we need posters from the place itself. To be honest I currently prefer Brasil to most European leagues... For instance I would love an opinion on Santos, almost at the end of the race. I know it is against the rules discussing fixed games, yet it seems to me they somehow started ''donating'' points here and there...With Copa du Brasil on their belt and a guaranteed place in Libertadores? I won't go anywhere near backing them on H'cap as I did here vs Prudente, but with a couple of ''slow'' games I expect them to explode and show their real value when least expected, in a game which they enter not as favourites, sooner or later...
