Julia Grabher (+4.5) to beat Nuria Parrizas-Diaz at 1.87 with Pinnacle
NPD is choking awfully in this tournament for some reason, perhaps it's the fact that she's playing in home conditions, hard to say, but she wasn't holding it together well yesterday and had to play almost to the midnight local time despite facing a weaker opponent and despite having a massive lead in the second. +4.5 on Grabher looks appealing.

WTA Hertogenbosch - Backing Rybakina  to beat Rogers @1.45 with Betfair.
Big serve, loads of power, grass court. All ends up being too much for Rogers who doesn't move well. Rogers does get some good results, but she also loses against some she should beat and I can't see her getting near Rybakina today.
Last year during the grass court swing, Rybakina lost to Muguruza, Ostapenko and Sabalenka. She gets out hit basically. That won't be happening with Rogers today.

I'm treading carefully this week due to the change in surface and also the bad weather - thanks @CzechPunter for the heads up - which in my experience can play havoc with results as some players seem to me to get fed up with all the waiting and so write-off the week with an early loss, or else can't deal with the disruption and that affects their game in a negative way.
That said, there's a boosted acca that looks worth taking to me. It's four favourites that all do well on the grass and that's FAA, Hubert, Khachanov and Kyrgios. FAA has a good record in this part of the season before Wimbledon and although his opponent Griekspoor is at home, I'm not convinced he enjoys this surface and a tight win over Bedene in the last round doesn't inspire confidence. Hubert looks to have the toughest assignment against Fucsovics, particularly as he has a losing record against him although they've never met on grass. However, Fucsovics wasn't great in the last round and Hubert clicked into gear at Wimbledon last year and so should be able to get the win with his new-found confidence on the surface. Khachanov should be able to get through against Majchrzak due to his better grass pedigree and the fact that his game suits the surface so well, and Kyrgios should be far too good for Basilashvili. I think he'll be up for this match and will want to do well in these next few weeks before possibly heading back into hibernation.
    10pts Auger-Aliassime (vs. Griekspoor) x Hurkacz (vs. Fucsovics) x Khachanov (vs. Majchrzak) x Kyrgios (vs. Basilashvili) @ 3.57 365

Viktorija Golubic to beat Heather Watson at 1.62 with Pinnacle
Golubic seemed to have a good shot at beating Raducanu today, but we all know what happened. Watson will be a big step down, in any case, and the Brit has been struggling to string two decent performances together pretty much all season long. Golubic should outplay her knowing how erratic Watson can be these days, and the odds aren't too bad for that to happen.

Nikoloz Basilashvili to beat Lorenzo Musetti at 1.68 with Pinnacle
Basilashvili tends to overperform in Germany, and he certainly has the better game for grass of the two. Musetti was even vulturing a clay Challenger in Italy last week, so he wasn't exactly getting ready for the surface. Still a significant talent, but this looks like a good spot to oppose him.

I also agree with Neilovan and CzechPunter that Nadal is likely to win this year's final and break his own record to become a 22-GS title winner and 14 RG champion in 14/14 finals.  I am not betting because of the low odds as due to Nadal's age and health problem, I have no confident that Nadal will win in 3 sets.  Nadal is not at his best condition and I reckon at about 70% and his doctor is with him 24/7 throughout the tournament.  But of course he is determined to play his best and I think even at about 70% health, he is good enough to beat Ruud who is at this big stage for the first time.
At an interview ahead of the final, Nadal said:
"I would prefer to lose Sunday's final and get a new foot. I would be happy with my life with a new foot. A win is beautiful, but life is much more important than any title. Especially after the career that I had".
Therefore I think this is the last chance for Nadal to win his 22nd GS title.

I agree. This is a completely different match-up than Nadal-Zverev and, crucially, Ruud hasn't had a chance to play against Nadal before. Imagine that - your first meeting with Nadal and it's in a GS final...If Ruud can overcome that, then obviously more power to him, but it seems rather improbable.

I watched the 1st set tie breaker and Zverev really didn't do a lot wrong. Nadal simply played 4 or 5 ridiculous points, that were so good it was insane. The one point with the crazy dig on the backhand followed by a running cross court pass was probably the best point of the tournament. I watched 1 rally that was 42 shots which was also off the charts. Nadal to beat Medvedev in Australia was a far bigger task than having to beat a 1st time finalist on his favorite surface.
Zverev, being tall was able to hit his two handed backhand though the Nadal hook/topspin. It's a very tricky shot, but you need height, great footwork, and must take the ball on the rise. This nullified Nadal's forehand. Ruud simply does not have the ability to do this, and Nadal will grind his backhand into the ground. The Nadal forehand to the Ruud backhand will determine the outcome, and I expect Ruud to have very few answers.

And of course I have mentioned Coco is also playing the Doubles Final (tomorrow) was to highlight that she has played many more matches compared to Swiatek in the same span of time which is a disadvantage to her.
This is one of the reasons that I am taking Swiatek to win the final in straight sets.

2 youngsters vying for the RG WTA title.  Swiatek and Gauff added age is still less than Serena Williams!  Can Coco win a RG title in this edition?  Yes but she has more chance to win the double partnering Pegula vs the French pair of Garcia/Mladenovic.  Unless Swiatek cannot hold her nerves and choke during the final match which is unlikely to happen at this stage, she should be able to go on and win the title in 2 sets.

Ruud makes the final and the Zverev bet was voided after he retired, which is fortunate because based on what I saw he wasn't going to be able to win that match. Popular opinion suggested the contrary as he was very much in it when he got injured and Nadal didn't appear to be at his best and looked as though he would tire the longer the match went on, but every time he got ahead he wasn't able to hold the advantage and his second serve became a complete liability. He had all the tools to get the win except the most important one which was in his head. Even if he'd gotten himself into a position to win, it's hard to imagine he'd have been able to keep himself together and finish the job.
Moving on to the Women's final tomorrow, I'll be hoping for a Swiatek win as I've got a pretty big red on Gauff. She's a big favourite and so should win, but you never know and certainly there's recent precedent for a Gauff win in the shape of Andreescu at the US. For the Men, I'm red on Nadal and green on Ruud. Most likely Ruud will succumb like all those before him, but he served really well against Cilic and kept unforced errors to a minimum and a repeat of that plus any physical issues for Nadal and he may just stand a chance.

Doubt Kasatkina has any chance against Swiatek who can exploit her service game.  I reckon Kasat will be broken (at least) 3 games in the first 2 sets.  Unless she can break back - her weapon against others in RG earlier matches - the match might end up Under 18.5 (G).

Due to Kasatkina poor service games like I have said, Easy Win for Swiatek - 6-2, 6-1 (Total Games 15)
Like what Neilovan predicted too, it was embarrasing for Kasatkina.

A lot going on here, so my first post in a while.
Been watching a lot of the tennis, but is tough because the matches start East coast time (6am). My feeling is that Zverev didn't play a great match. Alcaraz gave it away.  He just started so badly, with so many unforced, stupid mistakes. Had about 7 after 2 games.
I think the Swiatek v Kasatkina match is just one way traffic. Kasatkina just can't hurt anyone on the court. Steady, not making mistakes, high looping shots, probably plays right into Swiatek's game. Her serve is a liability ... Kudermetova actually ate it for breakfast, but has a nothing serve herself (on clay).  Cannot see beyond a straight sets victory for Swiatek, in what should be a 1 sided spanking. Probably 2 and 2 or 2 and 3. If Kasatkina suffers some nerves, and Swiatek gets the momentum this one could be embarrassing.
Trevisian has a decent chance against Gauff. Has to pressure the Gauff forehand and hope she has a slight nerves/off day. I have a strange feeling someone runs away with the 1st set here and then it gets tight and close.
I can't access my betting account so no bets for a week,

I think Coco now 18 years old is finally beginning to show her true potential. It's also time for an untimely defeat sooner or later for Iga as she's currently on a 33 match winning streak.

Taking Swiatek -1.5 set to beat Pegula @1.43
I don't think Pegula can put up the resistance like Zheng to steal a set from Swiatek especially under the hot weather - about 23°C.
Swiatek has not lost a set since one month ago until meeting Zheng.

Yesterday I lost two more outrights as Fernandez and Alcaraz both bowed out, but on the plus side Nadal knocked out Djokovic which means only Cilic and Rune can give me a full loss on the Men's side. Alcaraz losing was a surprise, but Sascha deserved to win as he served well and took advantage of Alcaraz not playing as well as he can do. It was a bittersweet result in many ways - I've got a decent position on Zverev to win the tournament, but I had a decent position on Alcaraz as well and I'd rather have carried that forward as it's fair to say he had a better chance of taking the title.
On to today then and with my liabilities on Cilic in mind, I'm going to cover some of them by backing him to beat Rublev. He's never been the biggest fan of clay but he's playing the best he's played for years and whilst a win over Medvedev in the last round probably isn't as good as it sounds, the manner of the win was impressive. If he plays at that high a level again then he can beat Rublev, who lost the first set of his match against Sinner and who may not have won it had it not been for Sinner's injury. At the same time as backing Cilic to advance I'm going to add to outright bets on Rublev and also Ruud, purely on the basis of price.

45pts Cilic to beat Rublev @ 2.30 Boyles
5pts Ruud to win ATP French Open @ 12.27 Betfair Exchange
2pts Rublev to win ATP French Open @ 19.62 Betfair Exchange

    Came across this article:

Chinese tennis player Qinwen Zheng's French Open bid ended unexpectedly as severe menstrual cramps and a leg injury -- for which she took a medical timeout in the second set -- lead to her losing to world no 1, Poland's Iga Swiatek. Zheng, 19, had everyone awaiting a shock win as she claimed the opener in a tiebreak before slipping to a 6-7, 6-0 and 6-2 defeat.

According to CNN, she had no pain during the opening set but took a medical time out at 3-0 down in the second to strap her injured right leg.
"Yeah, the leg was also tough. That compared to the stomach was easy...I cannot play my tennis, (my) stomach was too painful," Zheng, ranked 74 in the world, told reporters, after the game.
China's Qinwen Zheng during her fourth round match against Poland's Iga Swiatek (Source: Reuters)
Referring to her menstrual pain, she added, "It's just girls' things, you know. The first day is always so tough and then I have to do sport and I always have so much pain in the first day. And I couldn't go against my nature."
"I wish I can be a man on court, but I cannot in that moment...I really wish I can be (a) man (so) that I don't have to suffer from this."
Adding that she enjoyed playing against Swiatek, Zheng said, "If I don't have my stomach pain, I think I could enjoy more, like to run better and to hit harder, to give more effort on court. It's a pity that I couldn't give what I want to give today. I just want (it so that) next time I play against her, I (am in) perfect shape."
