Match between 6th and 1st placed team in Spanish La Liga will be played on El Madrigal in Villarreal and will start at 20:45. Main referee will be Avalos who loves cards.
Villarreal is coming to match after 0-1 win in Rome, but they played with reserved squad, so team won't be too tired, even though Bruno and Soriano played for bigger part of the game. Maybe Escriba will make some changes, after team performed solid in Rome, and maybe someone from "reserves" will receive chance from 1st minute today. Soldado is doubtful, while otherwise Escriba has no injury or suspension concerns.
Real Madrid is coming to match after defeat on Mestalla, but I am not too surprised by result, as if who, than Valencia was always problematic opponent for big teams, even now, when they are placed far from where club as Valencia should be. Real will miss Varane and Danilo, but Pepe and Carvajal are even better choices right now. Carvajal is in my opinion best right full back in the world, solid in defence, and exceptional in attack. Bale is back in the team, we'll probably see him from first minute after a long time, and I think that Gareth is the most important player of this team. With him, their options in attack are much wider.
After defeat against Valencia, there was nothing else on my mind than to back Real Madrid in next match, and luckily I won't need to catch high asian handicaps, but they are playing against decent opponent and odds are fine. They are simply stronger, stronger in aerial duels, stronger in midfield, Villarreal will need to be much more careful on their flanks that they are used to be against weaker opponents, and if Rome won here with 4 goals difference, then I don't know why Real Madrid couldn't win with at least 2 goal difference. On the other hand, Sevilla won, and has same amount of point than Real, Barca is let's say winning points even if they are playing disastrous, and 1st place is far from guaranteed in Spain. Everything can change, and Zizou won't allow to lose 2 matches in row.

There is many doubtful players in OM, I don't know why exactly, but more and more I have feeling, that OM will have big problems today. Besides after checking last updates, I decided to skip St. Etienne match, even if odds looks valuable, they will miss so many important players, including Hamouma and without him their attacking line is totally different. I even prefer to bet on Caen not to score than St. Etienne 1 here, or maybe win to nil, just to catch higher odds... 
Even if I lost on last time with Lyon 1st half, I am going with them again. They are simply too good and I don't believe that they can miss everything they missed against Dijon in first half. Their first halves are strong normally, and without Diabate in lineup of Metz, I think that they have one big problem less, as they have problems with covering tall players (Tavares of Dijon)...

@StevieDay1983.. I am not sure about St. Etienne. I think that they feel the chance to fight for 4th place and that they will fight for it, moreover Caen is really really poor team. I still think that Lorient (last on the league table) will be higher positioned than Caen. 
p.s.: Matches in this round aren't that interesting to me. Monaco going to Bretagne after collapse in Manchester, (but I will look up this match tomorrow in the morning) Lyon at home with low (correct) odds, while there are two derbies Rennes - Lorient (analysis here) + Clasico between OM and PSG. Tough round tho.  Besides.. I think that Lille could beat Bordeaux, odds are pretty nice, but I will wait for last informations about weekend matches.

I agree with bet on Real who need a bounce back in this round as things are becoming little bit complicated (even tho they played with 70% reserve team in Rome). I wouldn't touch Barca, even tho this Atletico is far from the one we were used to watch in last years, but I believe that against Barca they will be motivated and regarding the situation in Barca, I would never back them. When did they outplay anyone for the last time? And no, it was not Eibar even if result was 4-1, Eibar was pretty unlucky in this match and if Denis wouldn't score a goal from distance, it would god damn hard for Barca to win. Midfield was icon of Barca, the strongest part of Barca, but Enrique decided to demolish it and play directly, with midfield only as supporting part of MSN. I hate him, I can not help myself.

That's why highly intellectual Enrique decided that Sergi Roberto (one of the best midfielders produced by La Masia in last 10 years will become right full back, that we will be able to buy 40M Gomes, who is overrated as shit. Thiago left for 18M, Gomes came for 40M. Thiago is by far the best player of Bayern, while Gomes is by far the biggest disappointment of Barcelona this season.

This club is far from stable, so I wouldn't be so sure. They need to show some consistency for now. They are playing fine, but finishing is still a problem. Dijon with Tavares, Diony and Abeid.. they can be dangerous. In start were above 2, now on 1.8.. far from valuable.

Hi guys, I am little bit late with that, but I totally missed the fact that Ceballos is suspended. He is by far the most important, creative midfielder of Betis, and without him their gameplay will be slower and more defensive minded. On the other hand Granada needs points, and they can do it only with low score. So I am with you on under 2,25 but with smaller stake.

Everyone who watched the match can not be unsatisfied with the call on Monaco. They were million times better and Bastia can thanks to whoever they believe to, that they took point out of this game. Matches like this doesn't irritate me. I am more worried when I am totally wrong. In 10 matches like this, Monaco will win 9 of them, probably more than 5 of them with more than goal difference, but unfortunately this "unsuccessful" match happened tonight. It's true that Monaco needed maybe 20-30min to adapt to this disastrous pitch, but anyway they were much better side. Besides Bastia scored from "nothing", they were poor in attack, they were poor in midfield, even in defence from time to time, but when they were, then they were lucky. All in all, I really keep my fingers crossed that they will be relegated.

If anyone is made for CL now, then PSG is. Of course because of Emery.  I fancy Juventus this year. They will have pretty calm championship IMO (already 7 points in front), so they can be focused on CL.

I think Luis Enrique time at Barca is coming to an end. He seems to run out of ideas. Barca has been poor for their standards this season. Most of their signings are poor too.

Agree, in my opinion not even a penalty for Villarreal.. Referee's in Spain are just horrible. 

Not really a red card but then Malaga should have been awarded a clear cut pk to make it 0-2 before Villarreal soft pk equaliser.
 

What bothers me here is that there are too many overs in Valencia's matches and Betis knows how to play it defensively. I wouldn't be surprise to see 5-4-1/5-3-2 formation from Sanchez.

I need to admit that result did surprise me, but when I saw the goals, picture was clearer. First goal came because of critical mistake of 21 year old Leborgne, second goal after disastrous reaction of goalkeeper, third again after bad covering of Leborgne, who was totally lost in this game and I don't know why Garande let him on the pitch for 90 minutes. He was included also in 4th goal, and for whole match he had big big problems with Kamano. PSG is coming to match after unfair win, while they scored in last seconds of the match from clear offside. Even though they were much much better side, totally in control of the match, Areola made critical mistake and de Preville scored in 86th minute. Trapp is back in training process, but it's not sure if he will be in the goal this time, as Emery said that he still has full confidence for both goalkeepers. Also Marco Veratti is back, which means that only Pastore and Krychowiak will miss the match. If PSG wouldn't have match against Barcelona on Tuesday, my stake would be higher. Without doubts, quality is on their side, importance of the match as well, as they have chance to put pressure on Monaco, while Nice is back on winning tracks as well, so not even second place is not sure. Thiago Silva has spoken to the media and admit that Emery is tactically great coach, and that players are more and more adapted to his style of thinking, football, etc. I am talking about that for month and half, that if players will get Emery's ideas, than they could be much much stronger in future. Motta is suspended for the match in CL, so we can expect him on the pitch tonight. The only one who might be rested is Draxler, but I am not even sure about that. This match is too important, as failure can cause 5 points gap with Monaco and maybe even 3 points gap with Nice. On the other hand we have Bordeaux who's key players of midfield are Toulalan (33y), Plasil (35y) and "newbie" Sankhare. I expect nothing but defending by them, while in attack it won't be as easy as it was in Caen in midweek. All in all odds on PSG -0,75 jumped from 1,63 on 1,83 after mid-week round, and all of that because of 0-4 win of Bordeaux in Caen? I disagree with that. Cup match finished with 1-4, while I can perfectly remember match of Monaco here (0-4). PSG will take this one!

Match between 7th and 2nd team of Ligue 1 will be played on Matmut-Atlantique in Bordeaux and it will start at 20:45 on Friday. Bordeaux is coming to match after comfortable win in Caen (0-4). I need to admit that result did surprise me, but when I saw the goals, picture was clearer. First goal came because of critical mistake of 21 year old Leborgne, second goal after disastrous reaction of goalkeeper, third again after bad covering of Leborgne, who was totally lost in this game and I don't know why Garande let him on the pitch for 90 minutes. He was included also in 4th goal, and for whole match he had big big problems with Kamano. PSG is coming to match after unfair win, while they scored in last seconds of the match from clear offside. Even though they were much much better side, totally in control of the match, Areola made critical mistake and de Preville scored in 86th minute. Trapp is back in training process, but it's not sure if he will be in the goal this time, as Emery said that he still has full confidence for both goalkeepers. Also Marco Veratti is back, which means that only Pastore and Krychowiak will miss the match. If PSG wouldn't have match against Barcelona on Tuesday, my stake would be higher. Without doubts, quality is on their side, importance of the match as well, as they have chance to put pressure on Monaco, while Nice is back on winning tracks as well, so not even second place is not sure. Thiago Silva has spoken to the media and admit that Emery is tactically great coach, and that players are more and more adapted to his style of thinking, football, etc. I am talking about that for month and half, that if players will get Emery's ideas, than they could be much much stronger in future. Motta is suspended for the match in CL, so we can expect him on the pitch tonight. The only one who might be rested is Draxler, but I am not even sure about that. This match is too important, as failure can cause 5 points gap with Monaco and maybe even 3 points gap with Nice. On the other hand we have Bordeaux who's key players of midfield are Toulalan (33y), Plasil (35y) and "newbie" Sankhare. I expect nothing but defending by them, while in attack it won't be as easy as it was in Caen in midweek. All in all odds on PSG -0,75 jumped from 1,63 on 1,83 after mid-week round, and all of that because of 0-4 win of Bordeaux in Caen? I disagree with that. Cup match finished with 1-4, while I can perfectly remember match of Monaco here (0-4). PSG will take this one!
