Ranieri SACKED!

I'm torn on this. Before he was sacked all I heard was "Leicester are going down if Ranieri stays on as manager!". Then, when he's sacked, people seem surprised. Personally, I think he deserved to stay on and if they got relegated he should have had the chance to get them back up. However, it's not my millions being plunged into the club. That said, the board have to take their fair share of the blame. I don't care what anybody says, Kante leaving was the problem. He was the glue that held the dynamics of the team together. He kept the tempo high, he protected the back-line, and he gave players such as Mahrez, Albrighton, Drinkwater, and Vardy the freedom to counter.

The minute Kante expressed a desire to leave they should have done everything they could to make him stay. If not, then work tirelessly to find a suitable replacement. I'm sorry but Nampalys Mendy was never going to be the answer. They needed a Morgan Schneiderlin, Sven Bender, or someone of that ilk. They spent £46m on Ahmed Musa and Ibrahim Slimani. Neither are proven in the Premier League and neither are established world class players. If you've got that money to spend then invest it in a sure thing.

Leicester had a golden opportunity to step onto the next level and they've wasted it. Does Ranieri deserve all the blame? No. The players and board are equally culpable. Fortunately, they will soon feel the punishment too. The players will be relegated and the board will lose millions. What a joke! I can understand why they sacked Ranieri but I don't agree with it. I also can't believe they are touting Roberto Mancini as his successor. Good luck in the Championship, Leicester!

I was full of praise for Leicester last year. Happened to be in Copenhagen this year when they played and met some of their fans that were skirting cuntish.

Now I think they can go fuck themselves. Zero class and snakes all of them

Kante was smart to move when he did.

I know that this is life but I think that it's so mean to sack him. They only think of the bad things but not the good. It takes not only a manager to get the team to do well but the team players themselves and other conditions too! They don't think about who also was a part of helping them reach number 1 last season.. And now he's gone..

Talking about managers, I still can't believe that Manchester United chose a sacked Chelsea manager as their one!

I was a big fan of Leicester. Their fans were respectful when Kermogant missed that penalty against us in the play-off semi-final that saw us go through to lose to Blackpool in the final. I only know two Leicester fans now. My mate Jamie and Gary Lineker. I find both have been tolerable this season but I have seen posts on social media from a large percentage of Foxes fans who now act like they have completed football. To be fair, having witnessed Wales get to the 2016 European Championship semi-final, I can kind of see how they can get carried away.

I will re-emphasise that I don't agree with Leicester's decision to sack Ranieri but given the millions at stake I can understand why the board did it. The only problem being that they are taking the wrong decision too late.
