Apologies for the lack of an update last week. I got tied up with some stuff behind the scenes but hopefully you'll all see the benefits of that in the near future. This week, we take a look at the table that still has @Gazza's United's Palmers All Stars at the top. He now holds a 12 point lead at the top of the table and the challenge has been set for the chasing pack to make up that ground.
The Manager of the Week accolade goes to Chris Lyons and his Pique Blinders team. His decision to include three Manchester United players including making Marcus Rashford his captain saw him storm to 90 points. It was also a case of what could have been though with four of his players scoring 2 points or less.
Ring the bell through the streets and cry shame because Pavel Smith's Jakos to Bedzie could only manage 21 points this week. It's far from the worst score we've seen this season but the fact Trent Alexander-Arnold grabbed 12 of those points by himself shows us how bad this week's tally could have been!
The deadline for week 25 is Friday 24th February at 6:30pm GMT. Best of luck!

The Premier League action is really hotting up as we enter the "business end of the season". Has the Bryan's Gunn Twitter account done a video for that phrase yet?! Anyway, it's the weekend of the EFL Cup Final so Manchester United and Newcastle aren't playing which gives Arsenal and Manchester City a chance to pull away by some points in the table. Two winnable games for the title contenders? Or is it not that easy? Only 3 points now separate the bottom three teams and it'll concern Leicester and West Ham fans that despite recent upturns in form their clubs still can't clamber their way out of the quagmire. Can any of the sides down the bottom pick up wins to boost their survival chances this weekend? Tell us your predictions below! Don't forget to check out our daily football tips where @Fader delivers his weekend accumulator tips every week too!

    Hi all,
I have been messaged by @MCLARKE to state he's currently in hospital but is hopeful he will be out and back to his normal routine in a couple of days so there will be a small delay to the NAP table being updated this week. We wish Michael all the best with what he hopes is a swift recovery and if he needs more time for recovery then we will look to get the tables updated for him. Understandably, this is Michael's labour of love and he's keen to continue to update it himself if possible for continuity purposes.
    Thank you!

Yes. Apologies for the delay. There's some data issues we are having. Hoping to have it fixed as soon as possible. We'll have to get creative with our predictions for the time being so keen to hear what you all have in mind for the matches coming up this week across the leagues.

Apologies all, not sure what happened to the Premier League thread for this week. Thought I'd posted it up! Anyway, will get back to normal routine this week. Here are the odds for tonight's Merseyside derby. This is actually looking like a tasty one now with Liverpool rocking and Everton resurging. Those odds on Everton getting something from this game are too good to ignore, right?

It was an awkward round in the Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League with a single game preventing us from confirming the latest tables until late this week. Still, the action is now done and we have an unchanged leader with @Gazza's United's Palmers All Stars holding on to their place at the top of the table. An impressive 81 point haul held off a frantic surge up the table from @Team Sagga who notched up a stunning 109 points total.
Somehow, Ivan's men did not do enough to take home the Manager of the Week. That accolade went to Adam Szerlowski and his Swindon Rejects team who accumulated a mammoth 116 points. His decision to triple captain Marcus Rashford got him 60 points alone. What a stroke of genius. It's worth mentioning that the likes of Craig Larvin's TBC, Robin Brand's Brand Football, Adrian Gage's Alley Cats, B. es Ism's (Essybb), and Alastair Blackburn's Stoics also surpassed the 100-point mark this week. Applause all round for those totals.
At the opposite end of the scale, Sonny Whitehouse's Kinky Team might need to be whipped a bit harder after earning just 15 points. Four players from his squad not even being available and only one player earning more than 2 points for the week suggests the club has reached crisis point. Fan protests have started but the owners are sat in their ivory towers with deaf ears to the discontent.
The deadline for transfers for week 23 is 11am GMT on Saturday 11th February.

On at 4.8 on the exchange which seems very generous, also Alvarez at 4. Could be another Haaland "fill your boots" day but I think those two are generously priced as a result of how much he's favoured.

    Tottenham vs Manchester City
The Premier League throws up an intriguing clash on Sunday afternoon when a struggling Tottenham side, who could be without head coach Antonio Conte due to surgery, host an ever-dangerous Manchester City in a 4:30pm GMT kick-off from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It’s been a tough start to 2023 for Conte’s side with Tottenham having lost 3 of their 5 league games played so far in this calendar year. One of those defeats was actually a 4-2 loss away to their opponents for this game and that only came a couple of weeks ago. Conte is a doubt to be on the sideline for Spurs for this game after he endured an operation to remove his gall bladder during the week.
The North Londoners are currently down in 5th place after winning just 2 of their last 6 league games. This drop in form has seen them go from title dark horses to a team that is now 4 points off the pace of the Champions League qualification places. It’s now 4 losses from their last 5 home league games but they will be looking to build on last week’s 1-0 win away to Fulham. The team have lost all 5 of their league matches played against teams placed higher than them in the table.
There is no denying that Manchester City have fallen short of their extremely high standards recently. The Citizens have dropped off the title challenge pace after dropping points in 3 of their last 7 league games. This has seen Arsenal move 5 points clear at the top of the league table. That gap could be reduced to just 2 points here after the Gunners suffered a shock 1-0 loss away to lowly Everton in their last outing.
City come into this game after back-to-back league wins with one of those being that home victory over Spurs. It’s also 3 wins from their last 4 away league matches so they know how to get the 3 points on their travels. Riyad Mahrez stands out as an anytime scorer pick having bagged 7 goals against Tottenham in the Premier League down the years. It’ll be interesting to see how Pep Guardiola sets his team up after the departure of Joao Cancelo to Bayern Munich on transfer deadline day. No doubt, Rico Lewis will be utilised but it’s a transfer that will certainly make City weaker and might negatively impact the mood of the dressing room.
These two sides met just a couple of weeks back and it was City who prevailed as superior winners. Not a lot has changed since then and, if anything, you’d have to argue that Tottenham haven’t really improved where as City look a lot more like their old selves now. The key factor here could be that Spurs have conceded the first goal in each of their last 5 home league games where as City have won 12 of the 16 league games where they have scored first. I’m expecting a City win and Tottenham’s troubles under Conte to continue.
