    Welcome to the forum @allenmorales!
It depends if you're looking for sick as in good or sick as in depraved... actually, I think we can cover both of those!  As for the tips, take a look around and see what our expert tipsters @MCLARKE, @The Brigadier, and @Tumbleweed King (horse racing), @Fader (football and other sports inc darts and snooker), @CzechPunter (tennis), and @Darran (non-league football) have to say. @avongirl is the one you want to go to for your poker questions. Our recently appointed Forum Moderator @harry_rag is also a fountain of knowledge and a friendly face about the place. Dip your toes in and get involved!

Yes, the big man has retained his top spot which is particularly impressive considering he did so after only earning 36 points this week. To be fair, it was a low-scoring week with midweek fixtures always throwing a spanner in the works with player availability and squad rotation. However, the fact that none of Graham Haynes' immediate rivals could take advantage of that poor total suggests he's hit that habit of still doing what needs to be done even when his players aren't playing well. That's title material right there!
Anyway, the upshot (for the majority) of this poor week is that it's allowing others to sneak up from the peloton (or whatever the football league table equivalent is!). The likes of @skyblues88 might have slipped down a bit (have the wheels come off?!) but who's that coming over the hill? It's only @Gazza's United and he wants his title credentials back! Ooh, you get the feeling it's all starting to hot up a bit now, don't you!
Congratulations to George Callaghan's sw1 sweet for taking home the Manager of the Week accolade with 77 points. A decent return considering the round average was just 35 points. Callaghan can credit the Liverpool duo for that performance with Trent Alexander-Arnold's 24 points and Virgil Van Dijk's 14 points making up nearly half his team's total!
Now, we have a bit of a problem for the Name of Shame. We actually have a Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League first. It's not something anybody should be proud of but I feel it's certainly a case where if we don't laugh, we'll cry. This week we not only have a multiple winners situation but we enter new territory. Yes, we don't have just two recipients... we don't have three... we don't even have four. Yes, that's correct. We have FIVE Name of Shame recipients this week! Somebody pass me the brandy!
So if I could kindly ask Tara Rezodoust's TaraNATION, @lukekindelan1985's Medical Express City (not a good couple of weeks for the Kindelan brood!), Mark Marshall's Location Location, @yossa6133's The Roosters, and John Goode's JG698 to enter the stocks. Not sure we have any players available to actually throw rotten vegetables at you. You're all in the stocks by the looks of it! Anyway, shame on you all. 21 points... not the worst score we've ever had but still not great. Must. Do. Better!
It's another quick turnaround this week with the deadline for Game Week 16 transfers being 11am UK time on Saturday 9th December. Best of luck to you all!

The Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League faces a double game week this coming week. So it's a quick turnaround with Premier League games taking place in midweek. So be wary of the Tuesday deadline for the next round of games. Anyway, it was another pleasing week for league leader @Gray306 who sits on top and extends his lead at the summit. Second-placed @skyblues88 has dropped down a spot after being leapfrogged by Fred Lessing's don't ever lose side.
Manager of the Week was closely contested with a few teams managing to break over the 80-point mark this week. However, it was Carl Joiner's star of kings team that took the accolade with 87 points this round. Double-figure returns from the likes of Kieran Tripper, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ben Mee, Anthony Gordon, Martin Odegaard, Dominic Solanke, and Ollie Watkins ensured an impressive week.
On the flip side, the lowest score went to Marie Kindelan. No doubt a not-so-distant relation of @lukekindelan1985!  Get in the stocks, Marie!
The deadline for this week's transfers is 6pm UK time on Tuesday 6th December. Get your business done for Game Week 15 by then! Best of luck!

The Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League finally appears to have a leader who is showing the potential of taking some moving from that top spot. @Gray306 has held onto first place ahead of @skyblues88 in what is becoming an intriguing battle at the top. Haynes may well have stretched his lead at the summit but it's still a tightly-contested fight with just 12 points separating the top two. It was a rather low-scoring week so it'll be interesting to see if those two remain at the top come next week.
It was a close week in terms of Manager of the Week. Not a massive score was enough. One of the fantasy football OG, @StevenKing, came close with a score of 67 but it was @Dennis Bergkamp who took home the accolade with a 69 (ooh er!) total. An even more impressive feat given the fact that Jan's team did it essentially with just 10 men after Rasmus Hojlund fired a blank.
Lowest score of the week was also a close affair. It was @Nosey-P's side who will have to spend the week in the town stocks after they only managed 23 points. A perfect storm of Reece James scoring -3 with James Maddison and Callum Wilson scoring 0 due to being injured but remaining in the starting XI due to the entire subs bench also being unavailable. Time to shake things up, Wayne! I think you need to have a word with your owner to splash the cash in January! Otherwise, a nose dive to the bottom of the table could be tough to avoid!
The deadline for transfers this week is a later-than-usual 1:30pm UK time on Saturday 2nd December. Best of luck!

The Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League enters the international break with a familiar face sitting proudly at the top of the table. @Gray306's Ju-Lo's Lamborghini continues to lead the way but his lead at the summit has been reduced to just 9 points after a strong 94-point week from @skyblues88's Show Me the Mane. What drama leading into a two-week break!
Incredibly, in a strong week of scoring, 94 points wasn't enough to take the Manager of the Week accolade. Several managers breached the 94 points plus mark this week. However, it was a team that fell just short of reaching the 100 points tally with 99 pointsthat took the top score this week in the shape of James Hedges and his Hedge Fund team. The standard 32 points from Erling Haaland as captain put down the foundations for a positive week. Double-figure scores from Konstantinos Tsimikas, Mohamed Salah, and John McGinn added to that score for a mammoth return. That score moved Hedges into the top 50 in the league table as well.
Now, the time of the week everybody looks forward to... except the potential recipients. Name of Shame this week is a harsh one because there weren't generally too many bad scores. It's certainly one of the more brutal lowest scores we've had but somebody has to "win" it. Step forward @Peter York and his Bowhill Bears team who could only get 35 points this week. Darwin Nunez getting 10 points saved it from being an even worse week. Unfortunately, those are the punches, Peter. So in the Punters Lounge village stocks with you. I should add that a few of you flirted with danger in the 35 to 40 points zone so consider yourselves lucky! Keep your heads low and have a think about your decisions during the international window!
Note to self: Must stop being so enthusiastic with the use of the spanking emoji on here!
The deadline for transfers for the next round of Premier League matches is 11am UK time on Saturday 25th November. Best of luck!

Important to know the right avenues to find some support for GA. If it gets out of hand.
On the other hand, perhaps it's a good idea for us to have a thread for people to talk about these issues, too.

With the best will in the world you're probably better going down the route of the available support for people with a gambling problem rather than coming to a site where, by and large, people enjoy gambling as a responsible hobby. There may be some people here who've gotten into difficulties and can relate more and perhaps provide some useful input but, as I say, there are better routes for you to go down to get the help and support you apparently need.
As it's Safer Gambling week, this would seem a sensible starting point.

It's all change once again at the top of the Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League. @Gray306, if you were pleased with your former manager's car doing the business last week then you'll be bloody euphoric this week after your team stormed to the top of the table after an 87-point total this week. A courageous 105-point tally from Rob Cooper's email this team in wasn't quite enough to take top spot with the team falling just 1 point short of the summit. If only James Ward-Prowse had scored this weekend!
Anyway, it was actually Cooper's side who delivered him the Manager of the Week nod this week. Erling Haaland's 32 points as captain was backed up by double-figure totals by Bryan Mbeumo, Moussa Diaby, and Son Heung-min. A special moment of recognition for Glen Barnes and his Beer and Football side who also breached the 100-point mark this week. He did have Haaland in his team but not as his captain. Old Glenny boy decided to go leftfield and made Eddie Nketiah his skipper with the Arsenal striker bagging a hat-trick and 34 points on his own.
The Name of Shame this week kind of feels a bit harsh being handed out. I need to check the stats but I believe it's the highest total we've had for the worst score in a week this season. The 109th placed Max Interference managed by Matthew Sadler are the bottom scoring side this week with a relatively high lowest score of 32 points. Sadler's team looked the business but simply appeared to suffer from a number of consistent performers just experiencing an off-week. Still, rules are rules and public shamings are public shamings. Off with your underwear and around the village you go my son! Shame! Shame! Shame!
The deadline for transfers this week is 11am UK time on Saturday 4th November. All the best!

The Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League has a new leader once again! It's a crazy game of musical chairs at the top of the table. A big managerial gang bang where everyone's taking turns having a go at the summit. Clearly, the top spot isn't up to much because nobody wants more than one week with them! OK, this has got a bit weird now. Anyway! It's Steve Durrant's EsteSakaMinging who now lead the table after a mammoth 105-point haul this week. Fair play!
Interestingly, the 105-point total wasn't enough to take the Manager of the Week accolade. In fact, even Mohammed Abbid's Lynx Africa (a lovely tribute to every 13-year-old teenage boy in the UK there!) with their 106 points wasn't high enough. That's because a certain Sean Fahy with The Roosters sealed that tip of the hat thanks to a total of 111 points. I will need to check but it's a shout for the highest weekly score of the season so far. His decision to captain Mohamed Salah brought in 32 points on its own but the inclusion of Kieran Trippier, Son Heung-min, and Ollie Watkins who also earned double-figure totals this week was massive. It was a proper squad effort though with only Matty Cash and Brennan Johnson earning less than 7 points this week for The Roosters.
It was a very high-scoring week in general with an average score of 67 points. So it feels like a hard knock for Pat Somers' Garage Band FC to have to take on the Name of Shame this week with a far-from-appalling 28 points. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's still a pathetic total and you should spend the next 6 months in an old Soviet gulag but it's not the worst score we've seen. Still, away to the Siberian outlands with you! Don't come back until you've taken Ashley Young and Danny Welbeck out of your team! This isn't the 2012/13 Manchester United title-winning side and you're certainly not Sir Alex Ferguson enjoying a swansong season at Old Trafford!
The deadline for transfers for week 10 is set for 6:30pm UK time on Friday 27th October. Best of luck everyone!
