StevieDay1983
The Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League saw a low-scoring week of action this time around and that meant we saw no change at the top of the table. @Gray306 remains in 1st place despite only earning 47 points. It says everything that a score like that was still 12 points higher than the average. I guess that's what happens when Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah have a poor week. I bet those suckers that had both of them in their team didn't do very well... Unsurprisingly, in such a low-scoring week it was a score of just 58 points that was enough to take the Manager of the Week plaudits this round. Chris Robinson Smith's Hackney Harriers may well be down in 116th place in the table but they were the top-scoring team this week. Nicholas Jackson's hat-trick saw him contribute 16 points and then there were solid performances from the Newcastle duo of Kieran Trippier and Anthony Gordon to boost the total. There were a few contenders for the Name of Shame this week. A fair few totals in the teens. We're looking at some 16s, 15s, and 14s in the tallies. However, we're not hear to drag your names through the mud. Oh no. That privilege belongs to a team that only mustered 12 points this week in the shape of Matthew Brocklebank's Natural Selection. Based on this score, let's hope Darwinism is not at play because it'll be off to Switzerland for a swift dose of euthanasia for each member of your squad. The transfer deadline for this week's matches is Saturday 11th November at 11am UK time. Best of luck to you all!
