Thanasi Kokkinakis to beat (-1.5 games) Stefano Travaglia at 1.76 with Coolbet
Thanasi is cruising this week. No set lost yet this week and he seems like he wants this title. Stefano has been struggling badly last two matches so this should be the end of the road for him.

    Cardiff vs Reading
Hello darkness, my old friend. It's that time of the week again when I get to share my thoughts with you about how God damn awful Cardiff are and this week it's the turn of Reading to rock up to the Cardiff City Stadium at 3pm BST on Saturday afternoon and pummel us into the ground in yet another demoralising display of managerial ineptitude and head-scratching decisions when it comes to player selection. This should be fun!
Cardiff are bog dreadful. If I had to describe how bad we were playing right now I'd say it was the footballing equivalent of Boris Johnson's sex routine. Mick McCarthy continues to stick with the 3-5-2 system that I repeat every week does not work and that we do not possess the players that suit it. How on earth he hasn't even looked at changing our formation at the very least is mind-boggling. The decision to literally play 5 centre backs across our back-line against West Brom in midweek including Mark McGuinness and Ciaron Brown as wing backs with Ryan Giles playing as a second striker and Leandro Bacuna as the AM is quite frankly worthy of requiring him to be sectioned under the mental health act. The general feeling throughout our fan base is that McCarthy is actively seeking to be sacked so he can take the compensation pay packet. It's now 6 defeats from the last 7 across all competitions and we've deserved every single one of those losses. That single win being a 2-1 victory against a lowly Nottingham Forest side that we didn't even really deserve to win. We are now down in 18th place and just 3 points above the relegation zone. Dark times for Cardiff and it's shocking that McCarthy survived after Tuesday night's hammering.
Reading. Oh, God. If you follow anything I post on Twitter then you'll know that I get on with the Reading fans really well. Apologies for the sarcasm. It's not a club I have a lot of time for and they constantly remind me of their feelings for me because of that. The Royals (see, even their club nickname is arrogant) are in 11th place after a patchy start to their league campaign. Manager Veljko Paunovic guided his team to 7th place last season but they started this season slowly with just 1 win from their opening 7 competitive games including 5 defeats. Form has turned around recently though with the club managing to earn 3 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss from their last 5 matches. Attacking midfielder John Swift has been the stand out man for the team with 7 goals to his name already. It'll be interesting to see how the players react to the disappointing 1-0 loss away to rock bottom Derby in midweek.
As if my Cardiff previews didn't need any more negativity I'm going to throw some head-to-head statistics into the mix. Reading are unbeaten in their last 11 matches with Cardiff across all competitions. The last time Cardiff beat Reading at home was back on 7th November, 2015. 4 of the last 5 meetings have ended in a draw but I can only see one outcome here again. A Reading win and if Cardiff lose this then McCarthy, who is seen as a dead man walking by many already, will surely be relieved of his duties. I'd back anyone to beat us right now and Reading look well worth backing at that price.

Mai Hontama (+6.5) to beat Garbine Muguruza at 1.85 with Pinnacle
Hontama going through a patch at the moment and, while she should finally fall against Muguruza, I think the handicap is a bit on the higher side. She can play well, her wins over Garcia and then Rogers were no flukes, it's only if she can hold her nerves together.

Taylor Fritz to beat Denis Shapovalov at 2.38 with Unibet
Denis Shapovalov has been a complete disaster since reaching the SW19 semis and up first for Denis in San Diego is Fritz, who trails the head-to-head series 3-1.
However, the American won their most recent meeting earlier this year on the hard courts of Doha by 5-7, 6-3, 7-5. Fritz wasn’t great this summer, but he at least managed to reach semifinals in Los Cabos and Atlanta. He hails from southern California, too, so the crowd will be behind him in a big way. This is a good opportunity for Fritz to take advantage of a struggling opponent and pull off an upset.

Hurkacz is on a roll throughout this season and should look to ease off any jetlag by strolling past the aussie qualifier.

Andrey Rublev to beat (-1.5 sets) Brandon Nakashima at 1.98
Feels like Brandon could be competitive enough for a set or even two but the russian second best should be to strong for Brandon to have his chances to take set.
Diego Sebastian Schwartzman to beat Lloyd Harris at 1.92
Could easily be anything out the ordinary this one but Diego should be good enough for a win. Harris didn't look all to convincing by losing a set to a tall big serving guy like Eubanks.

Lorenzo Sonego to beat Sebastian Korda at 2.40 with Pinnacle
Not quite sure why the odds are so big on Sonego. Sure, the loss against Rune was bad, but he's still done more than Korda recently. I like the young talent, don't get me wrong, but I don't think he should be getting this favored at the moment.

The Rublev pick should have a chance as this is the sort of tournament the Russian has been flying through and winning the last couple of years, but he'll have to serve much better than he has done recently. Against Tiafoe at the US Open for example, his second serve was a total liability and took a pasting and he also had a nasty habit of double-faulting at important times - sometimes his first serve percentage is too low as well and that creates pressure. Nakashima has done well in US tournaments recently and looks like he's got plenty of upside, but if Rublev is on his game he could win in two. Three sets wouldn't surprise me though in all honesty.
As for Diego, instinctively I'd rather back Harris. Yes he didn't look great in the first set against Eubanks but he responded well and in these conditions he should be hard to break. He returned well against Eubanks as well and Diego isn't the biggest server. If Gaio could get into Diego's service games I don't see why Harris can't, so this looks likely to go the distance as Diego is probably the better player but Harris has the serving advantage.

@Torque I know you are always trying to help and I appreciate your input and words and I might have carried it one way to far with 3.5 games to cover by Kevin but I'll probably just gonna hope for a 90-100% cashback when cashing out.
Might be better ways to build a buffert than chasing dreams of big hcps being covered.

Kevin Anderson to beat (-3.5 games) Dan Evans at 3.35 with Unibet
Hello Unibet wazzup? Don't get me wrong but Dan Evans just isn't there right now and sure he got to round 4 of USO but still he's not there now. And he hasn't played since either and I remember @CzechPunter having plenty of success going against Dan recently before his exploits at USO which by looking at which players he beat there wasn't that impressive anyway.
This odds looks completely off. Kevin is 2-0 up in this matchup and he's a Lucky loser in San Diego. 3.5 games isn't even that hard to cover for any player outhere so just because Dan is ranked 22 atm it's not really where he's at mentally.
I'll give Kevin 3.5 games to cover in a matchup like this under current circumstances any day of the week.

Giron to beat Munar at 1.53 with bet365
The main reason for this pick is obvious. Munar is a pure claycourter and his record on indoor hard courts is horrible (9-20). Giron record on indoors is clearly better (43-33), and he beat Rinderknech and De Minaur the last week, in Metz (indoor).

    Blackburn vs Cardiff
The Championship action ploughs on at 3pm BST on Saturday when Blackburn play Cardiff at Ewood Park. The two clubs are in the thick of the play-off contention melee even at this early stage of the season so it's going to be an interesting clash here. Can either side do enough to take all 3 points or will we see the two evenly-matched teams nullify each other and end up in a draw?
Blackburn find themselves in 6th place after 8 league games showing that the club have adapted well to life after Adam Armstrong. The former Newcastle striker and last season's top scorer sealed a move to Premier League side Southampton during the summer transfer window and there were question marks over how Rovers could replace the 28 league goals he scored. That question still technically remains with the club's top scorer Ben Brereton Diaz only managing to bag 3 goals so far but Tony Mowbray's side are getting the results needed to move on up the table. Just 1 defeat in the league this season shows Rovers have become a tough team to break down. However, 3 draws from the last 4 league games is evidence that they are finding it hard to push on and secure all 3 points in recent matches.
Cardiff were as disappointing as I expected against Bournemouth last weekend. In fact, the Bluebirds were probably even more disappointing than I anticipated given they didn't even score. As I said previously, this system Mick McCarthy is persisting with needs to be scrapped. We are playing 5 at the back yet only kept 1 clean sheet in 8 league games, we have three bodies in the centre of midfield yet continue to get overrun in the middle of the park, and we have no players that can fully utilise the wing backs or attacking central midfielder roles. Something needs to change. It's now 4 losses from the last 5 competitive games and it doesn't look like improving any time soon. Actually, I think we're getting worse. We are somehow still in 10th but with just 3 points separating us and 19th place we could start free falling down that table soon.
I'm worried for Cardiff right now. We are awful to watch and where as before McCarthy was getting results it seems he's out of ideas now. I get that he wants to keep the back three of Aden Flint, Sean Morrison, and Curtis Nelson but we have to sacrifice that to evolve in a positive way. I think the only thing that could save us here is Blackburn's lack of ability to kill games off. There have been 4 draws in the last 5 meetings and I wouldn't be surprised to see another draw here but think Blackburn are the slight favourites and will win if they take their chances. I'm just not sure they will.

Casper Ruud to beat Reilly Opelka at 2.07 with Pinnacle
Ruud has made so much progress recently that I'm not sure what makes him the underdog here. He's now a fresh member of the top 10 and, if he continues playing on his level, he's one of those players that can actually stay up there in my opinion. The indoors conditions should suit Opelka, but I'm not sure the occasion will. He absolutely crumbled against Harris and could face the same demons here.

Maria Sakkari to beat Jelana Ostapenko at 1.80 with William Hill
Ostapenko looked rather average against Blinkova despite the scoreline, definitely not hitting any heights. Obviously, Sakkari hasn't played in this event yet, but she looked good in the US Open and has something to play for as well. It's mostly a bet against Ostapenko though.
