    I'll keep this short and to the point;
    Hibs won't lose on Sunday, all the value is on us. Hibs win 12/5. Jason Cummings anytime scorer 6/4.
    Newcastle look back to form after a wee wobble and look a good bet to beat Wolves who were beaten by Burton last time out. There's no real value in the odds but a win's a win, right? Newcastle win 6/5.
    Derby, Scunthorpe, Mansfield treble 4/1, looks good to me.

    Hope you backed Morton.
    I decided to back them with decent stakes, got back most of what i lost at the weekend, then put it all on Juventus -1 last night.
    I'm a happy punter again

    I'll be swerving the midweek games I think, if I was forced to bet on anything it would be Morton to beat Raith.
    Morton had a poor result at the weekend but QOS isn't an easy place to go, the playing surface is terrible, a real leveller. They like to get the ball down and play football and are, imo, the second best team in the league. Raith are shockingly bad and I think the 6/4 for Morton has a touch of value.
    However, after the weekend I've just had, I wouldn't listen to me if I was you

    I like the look of Reading to win at Ipswich. Reading look bang in form against an Ipswich side who were thumped 3-0 at home last time out. Reading @ 6/4.
    Exeter are on fire at the moment, scoring for fun and conceding very few, Crewe look the opposite. The odds possibly look a wee bit on the skinny side so i'll double it with Doncaster, another of the countries form teams. Exeter and Doncaster double @ 7/5.
    I know, i know, Hibs again . We are due to give someone a proper doing and this looks to me like the time. Full squad to choose from, on form, at home, we have a huge cup game next week against Hearts where all the players will be busting a gut to play, Ayr are sh##e. It all adds up to an easy win for the Cabbage. Hibs minus 2 @ 9/5.

    Everton look like the best bet in this round in the Premiership.
    They're in good form at the moment, are very solid at home and if they come close to reaching the level of performance in their last 2 home games, they should take care of a struggling Bournemouth comfortably.
    Everton win @ 8/11 looks good to me.

    I don't understand why a manager would do that? Why change what is working? Judging by what you say, those odds are too good to ignore.
    We have Preston at home tonight and I would back us to win at 2.45 odds. Back us for at least a draw. Warnock will not like us losing two games on the trot. We haven't been playing badly either. Just lost out to two very good sides in Brighton and Reading away. Warnock has said it's unlikely we'll be bringing anyone in today so expect a consistent line-up.

    I don't want to sound like a broken record but Hibs are a far, far better team than QOS. We have a full squad to choose from and if we play anywhere near as well as we can then we'll win this comfortably. I genuinely believe if this game was played 10 times, Hibs would win at least 8 of them, scoring 20 odd goals and conceding only once or twice. The odds of 4/6 for the Hibs win is a gift from the bookies.
    Elsewhere; the odds on Barnsley @ 7/5 to beat lowly Rotherham, high flying Doncaster @ 11/10 to beat Yeovil and Motherwell @ 4/1 to beat an overrated Rangers all look appealing to me.

    yes @stevieday1983, nice to engage in some intelligent conversation!
    BRIGHTON V CARDIFF
    If you want an account that pays 61% interest, look no further than the Brighton & Hove Albion current Account Today!
    I am going to the game with my mate, Kev the Postie AKA " The Flying Welshman". He is called this, because as the village Postie he used to fly around on his bike delivering the mail. Added to that, he was born in the streets surrounding Ninian Park & is a big Cardiff fan.
    So my usual pre match routine will be observed. My Chicken & Ham Pie will be consumed before KO, which means that Brighton will not lose! (Pie-ology)
    After reading @StevieDay1983 comments on the Bluebirds this season, I will guess that Cardiff will come to try and stop Brighton playing, so I can see lots of closing down in midfield, fouling & time wasting. Can't see a goal threat from them at the moment.
    - Brighton were unlucky to concede on Friday, and I fancy them to keep a clean sheet tonight.
    - CH made 5 changes on Friday, but the squad has so much strength in depth this season that they still won comfortably.
    - No Murray or Baldock up front tonight means that it will only be Hemed up there on his own. Brighton can score from midfield though with Stephens, Kayal & Knocheart all scoring this season. Solely March is getting back to his best too.
    - Brighton never seem to have many corners at home, the corner count on Friday was 10-0 to Sheff Weds.
    So, selections for the game
    B365
    Brighton TO WIN - 1.61
    UNDER 10 CORNERS - 2.05
    UNDER 11 CORNERS - 1.72
    BTTS NO -1.72
    No market for Cardiff most corners on B365!
    Fingers crossed.

    A penalty for Bonnyriggs goal which was a blatant dive, F##k right off.
    Poor from me though, i should have picked out a winning bet from this game, must try harder. I'm gonna blame it on I'm still travelling round SE Asia so not as focused as usual. LOL.

    There's been a little bit of chat about us maybe resting a few players and playing a few guys who are usually on the fringes of the team but it now looks clear that we'll be fielding our strongest team, which is the correct thing to do given we are the holders of the competition ( i will never tire of saying that  ) and we have to be careful we don't underestimate Bonnyrigg, who knocked out Championship side Dumbarton in the last round.
    It's that old cliche but if we score early we'll hammer them and you have to think we'll score at least 3. We also have one of the best defences in the country and i really can't see us conceding. As a rule, i don't usually bet on cup games but i think this is printing money. My bet is Hibs win to nil @ 8/15.
    Accumulators are;
    Man Utd, Huddersfield, Sheff Utd, Doncaster.
    Everton, Leeds, Scunthorpe, Cambridge.

    The odds of 2/5 for the straight away win are a little bit short for me to get involved with Stevie, so the question is - Is there value in 11/10 for Hibs minus 1 or Hibs win to nil?
    Dumbarton is not a ground that lends itself to good football. Small, tight, artificial surface with a small stand only down one side, the other 3 sides are just fences, google it to see what i mean. The horrible weather in Scotland at the moment is another factor to consider, we've also struggled there in the past.
    However. After a little sticky patch, the signs are that we're starting to click into gear. Goal machine Jason Cummings (always worth a punt to score first) came back last week after an absence and scored twice, the influential John McGinn is back after a long absence (we've seriously missed him, one of the best players in Scotland)) and new signing Humphrey gives us the width and pace we've all been waiting 3 seasons to see. I honestly think we'll win this with room to spare. Hibs minus 1 @ 11/10.
    In the same league, Morton look a good bet to beat Raith.
    Hibs have played them both recently and they couldn't have been more different. I was impressed with Morton, granted, Hibs weren't great but Morton would rightly be annoyed at not winning that night, they deserved more than they got. On the other hand, Raith were shocking, if Hibs had won 8-0 it wouldn't have flattered us. Morton have a very strong home record. Morton @ Evens.
    Elsewhere;
    One glance at the form table in League 2 shows you all you need to know. Colchester @ 5/4. Wycombe @ 10/11.
    Others for the accumulators include; Arsenal, Sheff Utd, Scunthorpe, Man City, Juventus, Ajax.

    I can't speak for anyone else but for me it's because of the uncertainty around knowing which clubs are taking the competition seriously or not. You don't want to pile in with a big bet only to find out when the teams are announced that they're resting some of their key players. It happens.

    My bet for this round of fixtures is Hibs to beat Dundee Utd @ 5/6.
    Reasoning is simple: We're better than them and we'll beat them
    I've not had a proper look at anything else yet. I don't get involved in the cups other than the odd longshot accumulator, i'll try and have a look later but i'm on holiday in Thailand at the moment so it's not that easy.

    Sometimes it just doesn't happen, that's football. All 3 of your selections drawing just highlights the small margins we're all playing here.
    Frustrating sometimes I know but I'm guessing you're well in front of the bookies in the long term anyway
