The value bets are of particular importance when they are rated top 2 or 3 .....you'll get better bets in the big handicaps as the value will be better hidden and prices naturally higher .....in theory if you get the form ratings accurate and you back the value bets rated top 2 or 3 ew you should do pretty well long term ....that's something that will become obvious long term ....in the meantime everything bounces off accurate form ratings ...we are getting there ....vast improvements since we first started across the board ....there are big things to come ....I'm sure of it

1st and 2nd in first race .....2nd rated won in 2nd race .....like I said I think the formula is fine for small races ....its just the big hcap formula needed now (and then the graded races )....

Well good luck ....I'm just loving each result cos I can tell what's working or not working then cross things off .....the list is shortening to a few chosen .....I ditched the previous form figure as it was taking the place of other important factors and the stats were saying it wasnt working as well as I expected

yeah, ranking event. Alot of players don't like the format actually but it's fun to watch..
-14pts in the end. I have some grinding to do, after a poor start to 2021

This has resumed this week. Yesterday/today has seen a very high level group of Selby, Kyren Wilson, Hawkins, Ford, Trump, Lisowski and Mark Williams. I don't remember a harder group to win. Nothing took my fancy at the odds available. Tomorrow we'll see Ronnie, Ali Carter and Joe Perry joining.

At this stage I don't have any bets, but if that changes they will go up here. I can update the totals for the season so far. Last month I staked 38pts and won 20pts and overall I have staked 245pts for a profit off 177pts.

First time I have ever watched NFL properly. Have no idea of the rules and it is so stop start so not a sport I think I will ever truly follow other than the Superbowl.
That touchdown just before half time could be too much for Kansas City now who have just not turned up so far, it is only half time though so its not over! This wont finish until 3am its bedtime for me

Thanks Gooner. Will try to be a bit more cautious. Would like to be 5k up by the years end but it will be a struggle.

You are still doing well, its difficult after a few losses but try not feel the need to chase at this stage.

Gutted about the Super Bowl result. The score as a complete surprise as I had expected a close game. Luckily I didn't watch it.
I'm still doing the 'chasing' which works sometimes but not this time.
    1825 & 1826 result: Kansas lost.  Lost £460

What an absolute idiot Yuelong is. Easy blue in middle pocket. Doesn't even need any more reds but is trying to clear up!

Last 16. Just two of the outfight picks remain. Milkins takes on Haotian and Yuelong takes on Day.

if they can get through then it’s a very competitive final 8. Selby, Allen and the winner of Un-Nooh/Williams all likely to be in through

Alright, it's the first Grand Slam of the season and it should be a good one!
Ashley Barty to win the 1st quarter at 3.00 with Bet365
Following @darko08 on this one, especially since it's now drifted out to 3.00. Same reasoning.
Naomi Osaka to win the 3rd quarter at 3.10 with Bet365
The second and fourth quarter look messy to me, but I'll stick with the favorites in the first and third one. Osaka has looked good so far in this season and has the right mentality as well. The rest of the field looks undercooked, so there's not as much danger as she would've faced in other quarters.
Matteo Berrettini to go further than Stan Wawrinka at 2.50 with Bet365
Although Berrettini did lose against Medvedev, he's had some seriously good efforts recently and his draw doesn't look impossible. Stan, on the other hand, hasn't played much and he hasn't played at all against top opposition. One has to wonder a bit about his fitness levels as well, so I'm more than happy to take the top 10 player over the aging former top 10 player here.
Viktoria Azarenka to go further than Bianca Andreescu at 2.00 with Bet365
Bianca hasn't played a match for more than a year, yet she's favored to go pretty far here. I get that she's strong and talented, but come on. There's a reason why everyone was itching to play the preparatory tournaments, you do need match practice in the world of tennis unless you are Federer. She has a tricky draw as well and I wouldn't be that shocked to see her fall in the early rounds. Buzarnescu can be tricky to navigate and then she'll have Hsieh or Pironkova, both quite tricky in different respects.
Alex Bolt to beat Norbert Gombos at 1.91 with William Hill
Bolt had a good run in the preparatory tournaments and he's always played well above his usual level in home conditions. He gives it his all in Melbourne year in year out. Gombos has only played one match this year, losing tamely against Purcell, so what exactly makes him the fav here is beyond me. He is the superior player overall, but the situational factors speak against him a lot.
Yoshihito Nishioka (-1.5 sets) to beat Pedro Martinez at 1.96 with Unibet
Nishioka did have a tough time in the ATP Cup, but he was playing decently by my standard's. He could've easily grabbed a set of Pella and Martinez will be a solid step down in terms of quality. Nishioka has all the right weapons to just outplay Martinez and I think that he'll be ready for this challenge. He looked really ambitious against Pella, wanted to win but things didn't go his way. Martinez should be an easier task.
    Good luck to everyone guys!

Just 32 players left then. Would have been great if Holt beat Stevens. Stevens has been abit of a pain in the bum as he now faces Milkins. I'm hoping Milkins can win that one. Just 4 of the 9 pre-tournament bets are through. Unfortunately, Gould plays Yuelong. The other two through are Milkins and Sunny Akani.
The likes of Selby, Allen, Un-Nooh and Mark Williams are still in so it's still wide open.
Tomorrow, the final 32, last 16, Quarter-finals, Semi-finals and final is played.
