[Irish Grand National Tips & Trends 2018]

With such a huge field and not having an instinctive feel for much of the Irish form I've tried something different

Basically I've looked at two things on the Racing Post race card being the Trainer comment and the Spotlight comment about the horse and I've crossed out any horse that had a negative in either comment ........... such as 'not certain to stay', 'jumping has been a problem' 'struggled in handicaps' ...... that kind of thing

I'm left with 4 and unfortunately 3 of them are amongst the market leaders as might be expected

Monbeg Notorious at 9/1

Bellshill at 11/1

Snow Falcon at 25/1

For a top two I've missed out the two Mullins runners who both carry sizeable penalties for last time out wins, so my two tips are
