    Oops ....... looks like I might have been a bit premature in cancelling my subscription as I cleared out the cookies last night and the site seems to be OK now....... I wonder if several years of cookies were causing it to be impossible to load and use properly

    I don't know enough about computers to know really. An example of one of the problems was when you click on a horse and it's form page opened in a new tab it self-refreshed 7 times before it settled down and you could read it. 

    On the plus side I'm looking at the site as a guest now .......... and there doesn't seem to be much difference between the free site and the subscription site. You can't store your own ratings but I haven't done ratings for a few years now and there's no 'Race Analysis' on the results ........ but that's only one person's opinion and I can do without that

    I cancelled my subscription to the Racing Post site this morning......... the website is so unstable and infuriating that it's just impossible to use unless you have the patience of a Saint

    After 10 years looking at the site every day it feels like a bit of a wrench

    I know there are lots of other sites available but they don't have the information that the Post has so I'll have to think of another way of picking my selections ....... though to be honest I haven't had a bet on horses for going on 2 years and I'm losing interest a bit after half a dozen years where I was spending hours every day on the gee-gees....... it's now just a 5 minute job to pick something for BBotD

    Looks like a decent renewal of the Ganay this year (Longchamp 3.30)

    The first group one race of the season in Europe it looks to have 3 proper group one horses in Cracksman, Cloth of Stars and Rhododendron

    Cracksman will be odds on favourite to give Frankie another group one winner

    Finche is being regarded as a pacemaker for Cloth of Stars but has some good form in the book and has had a prep run ....... could run better than his 33/1 current odds but with only 7 runners is not an EW proposition

    1.30 Hayd - Lisheen Castle - win at Evens bog wm hill

    3yo novice race over 12f

    Lisheen Castle is the highest rated of these and won first time out last season

    Finished his 2yo season with a 2nd in a Listed race

    Proschema won a soft ground maiden at the Lincoln meeting beating a couple of useful looking types, the first 3 clear ........... and was my original selection but the 2nd and 3rd have been well beaten since which knocked my confidence and made me plump for Lisheen Castle
