No great predictions here, it is what is. Norwich are light years ahead of Rotherham and can score goals for fun when in the mood. Norwich way ahead on the ratings, won their last 4 home games and Rotherham lost all 5 of their away games conceding 16 goals.
Norwich would have to turn up with their 5 a side team and paralytic after all being on the lash to not win this.

Sheff Utd v Port Vale

Ok this is where the ratings are good because it's not all about those teams that are clear ahead. Both of these teams are quite average attacking wise based on the ratings and are quite evenly matched. However, Sheff Utd are as low as 1.57!  
More bonkers material. They've won their last 3 home games, but only by a single goal each time.
Port Vale are actually in 4th place as opposed to Sheff Utd in 8th (ok, there's only 2pts difference though). Last 3 away matches, they've lost 1, drawn 1 and won 1, that win being away at Mk Dons, yet they are 6.00 (5/1) to win this match, that's crazy.

Bolton v Oldham

Bolton haven't won in their last 4 home games and the ratings have them as very poor at the moment. In total contrast to that, Oldham are nearly 15pt clear on the last 4 ratings, but 34pts clear on the last 2 and unbeaten in their last 5 away games.
Oh did I mention they're 5.25 at Bet365 !      

Similar to the Morecambe bet above, I'll go for the safety net of Double Chance. However, 5.25 is absolutely BONKERS and I think these odds compilers have all been on the whisky chasers. I wouldn't put anyone off the straight win.

I believe they do, but I also believe that to look for stark indicators showing immediate effect that they do will not be so forthcoming. The effect of a new manager is a sublime long-term effect, even if there there are indicators in the past that show a team to generally win the first game with a new manager in charge. You will see better indicators out of the season overall rather than at the start of the new relationship.
@Aristillus...re the above. Actually that was not the case re the article I did above when comparing longer like for like manager tenures (i.e. 6 months of the previous manager to 6 months of the new manager) showed very little difference in average points per game (PPG)...In fact as the article states literally the only significant improvement that could be used from a betting perspective was the very first game.
@Paul...I agree the methodology was sound. However my gut feel is that there is a significant difference all these years later in average manager tenures which may well make a difference theoretically.

I´m writing here short, because for me this can be a good Game today, with some nice goals on both Sides. Dortmund today with huge missings and a lot of players was on international Games, so maybe there are some Problems with Freshness against Berlin Players who has not that many abscences in that time. So Dortmund today without:
Sokratis, Castro, Piszczeck, Schürlle, Reus, Ramos, Durm, Guerreiro and Bender. Also Dembele and Bartra are doubtful. Think both will play, but think Coach Tuchel will not take to high risk here, because many injurys right now and under midweek they have CL against Sporting Lisboa. So for sure, Dortmund will have today a really good and Strong Starting XI, but for me here after international break, sometimes the clubs need some time to play his best football. Also the defensive Line isn´t the highest today, with Ginter, Passlack, Bartra!? and Schmelzer. So they can become trouble against Berlin in Air. Because there are Berlin very strong, specially by Free Kicks and Corners. For sure with this Starting XI on Dortmund Side, they can destroy Berlin. But i don´t think so. It will be a tough match which can end: 2:1, 3:1 or 2:2 i expected.
On Berlin Side they are missing Darida and Pekarik, both Defensive Players or Defensive Midfield Players, so good for my bet.

This fixture has goals written all over it (watch it be 0-0 now!) before I even looked at the ratings. Whenever I look at BTTS bets, I want to know the away team is attacking and has firepower and Monaco don't lack that. I also want to see a price of 1.67 or above ideally.
I'm very surprised this isn't close to 1.50 despite being in the low scoring French top flight. 1.80 is too good to refuse.

They drew that 0-0, a result which leaves them in third, 4 and 7 points respectively behind Flamengo and Palmeiras with nine rounds left to play. Also, the top two both have difficult games today and Atletico have still to host both, so it would be very early to give up on title ambitions.

However, we can surely expect them to be up for this, in their last derby game of the season and if they can end Atletico's title ambitions, that would be a bonus.

However, 32 points separate these two, which is more than 1.1 per game and is a true reflection of the difference in quality and Atletico are taking this incredibly seriously and given the home side full respect. There was talk of their four international players being eased back, but Lucas Pratto, Rafael Carioca, Cazares and Erazo have all been rushed back from CONMEBOL World Cup action and go straight into the squad.

America have conceded two or more goals in 6 of their last 7 starts without keeper Fernado Leal who is suspended and come into this game additionally weakened defensively. They will have to open up at some stage and Atletico can make it 3/3 at home to bottom four teams by a 3-0 scoreline.
