Why is it the shortest one that lets you down ?  Still, a small profit from the bet (£12.65) taking the 2022 total to +£87.65 (3/5 winning bets)

Horses finish 1st, 2nd & 2nd annoyingly and the longest shot won at 15/8 with the other two heavily backed and both beaten into 2nd.
Football treble lands and returns 22pts.

Tv off, not even bothering with any of my other bets, 80/1 shot wins and then horse falls at last (well does splits), lol. One of thise days.

The Racing Post sell a book each season ' TRAINERS' Jump statistics (season).
It breaks down NH Flat, Hurdles, Chases, Total.  Also by Month, Distance, Racetype, Class, Jockeys riding for trainer, Courses etc. 
It is ok but you can start to drown amongst all of the statistics - life is too short. ?

i often get tricast or combo tricast but i dont do it often as the value is in the singles level stakes really. think the tricast and forecast wins even out when u get losing ones so similar to profits on single level stakes anyway. id do more combo forecast accas but many bookies dont do them

Like all of us oldies , it depends what side of the bed you get out of & what the days aches & pains are like if you perform well or not ?
Regarding your younger horses comment , in these Veterans races I think 10 year olds have the best win % though not sure where you can find data to back this up just an observation .

My stats were based on the last 6 years but only cover NH racing from November to April. That could be the reason for the discrepancy but I'm surprised it's so large.
