Alex Molcan to beat Andrey Kuznetsov at 1.55 with Pinnacle Taking this one from the Bratislava Challenger. Molcan looked good in the first match, while Kuznetsov looked rather shabby. Molcan would love to take the title here given that this is his best season so far.

Tsitsipas vs Medvedev - Both players will win 1 set at 1.67 with William Hill I have Tsitsipas to win the 4th quarter but when I placed that bet I wasn't expecting Medvedev to play as he has done till now. He had an easy draw but he passed his first real test (Garin) successfully (3-0). The way he ended the third set was just impressive. Tsitsipas is still the favorite one to win this match but Medvedev has impressed me. I expect both players to win at least one set. This same bet is priced at 1.45 at betfair so this one is value.

On WTA tour, no result will cause even the slighted surprise to me. Anyone can beat anyone especially now at last 8 phase of the tournament. My evidence are the results of the previous Grand slams. Where is Barty? Where is Halep? Where is Ostapenko? Where is Muguruza? Where is Stephens as finalist? Where are...... tens of others? So, i remain focus on the ATP tour. Fokina +7.5 games to beat Zverev @1.83 bet365 Medvedev to beat Tsitsipas @2.75 bet365 For Fokina i thing he is very strong and devoted player especially on clay courts to cause all kind of troubles against the lu

The only decent player Sakkari has come past so far is Elise Mertens. Kenin was utterly woeful. Yes this is a huge opportunity for her - as in, she may not come up against a weaker field than this deep in a grand slam, but I just can't envision her coming past Swiatek. If she does, somehow, then maybe it could be her year. Great potential for sure. As I said pre-tournament, my dark horse is Paula Badosa. I think she has the game to defeat Iga on her day, and her route to the final seems very possible. you only need to watch her 2-0 win vs. Barty in Charleston to see how good she can be.

I'd take these as his selection if having a bet rather than something he'd recommend staking real money on. Perhaps Italy and Werner. I've already had the 20p allowed on van de Beek at what

I've just had a quick browse around the firms and spotted a few things of potential interest, including one possible "totals" bet. I'll add posts over the next few days, all views and contributions welcome.

  15. RESULTS UPDATE 5 bets with only one ins bet winner means a loss of £20.01 on the day. A bad day for my top jockeys/apprentices at Salisbury. Would have had more luck at Ayr with Joe Fanning getting a couple of winners and Kevin Stott one winner but I didn't play. My new balance £885.85 (Bank £1056.22) Four UK flat meetings tomorrow with most of the star jockey performers clustered at Haydock.

Mertens is 22-8 this year. She played 2 finals and she won the first WTA event of the year. SFs in Dubai and QFs in Madrid. Mertens is always a candidate to reach the last rounds of every single GS. The only reason why she's out is cause she faced Sakkari in the third round. I haven't seen all the matches but that match (Mertens-Sakkari) has been the most high quality match I have seen so far in the women's draw this edition. You can't say that she's not a real candidate only cause she lost 1 match. In the AO Barty won the first against Muchova 6-1 and she was leading the second one 2-0 but sh

  30. You have seen my doubts about this Netherlands squad. Well, more the man leading them into this tournament. I have been impressed by Austria when I've seen them play. A very organised and hard to break down side. If Ukraine can beat Austria then I don't see any reason why they can't win the group. 6/1 is still a little short for my liking but I can totally get on board with it.

  40. That's an interesting take, it certainly makes the 16/1 for England and Kane look skinny and is a bit better than the best odds for each outcome being multiplied together. It's shortened to 33/1 with 365 under the sheer weight of @waynecoyne 's money but is still 50/1 in at least one place. Not a market I would ever expect to offer value (and so many possible outcomes to sift through) but I can see the attraction at that price.

  41. Diogo Jota is a risk because of the Group of Death they are in but it's also potentially worth backing because I still think Portugal will endure this tournament. France to win and Harry Kane to win top scorer at 50/1 is an incredible price!

  42. 12 points on Ukraine to win the group at 6/1 with SPIN I'm not being entirely seduced by the fact that they're currently 4-0 against 10 man Cyprus but it made my mind up in case the price shortens. Had already seen it tipped in print and liked the mention for it in a YouTube preview I watched earlier. Holland maybe not quite up to justifying such heavy odds on favouritism, Ukraine the pick of the others at the prices.

I watched the match together with many other matches thanks to Eurosport. Sakkari serves better than many ATP players. She looks like a king kong as body building material. Someone here, and BEFORE the tournament starting, predicted Sakkari as winner of the WTA Roland Garros. I can not find a reason to disagree. I also fancy very much Pavluchenkova who also is hiiting the ball like crazy. Very strange tournament. Anyone of the last 8 of WTA tour can lift the trophy punters. This is the nature of the WTA tour.

  45. 40 points on any player to score in the first 66 seconds of a match at 9/4 with Hills Basically a bet that the record of fastest goal in the Euros will be broken this year. Doesn't look like a great bet if you just focus on past Euros but there have only been 15 renewals so far and most with fewer games so it's a small sample size. By my reckoning, 4 of the last 6 World Cups gave seen at least one goal in the first minute of a game and it happens about 4 times in a Premier League season. The spread for fastest goal is set at 80-86 seconds and the same market is only 6/4 elsewhere (w

  46. 2 points on Lukaku most assists at 100/1 Uni This went from looking like a great bet (when I briefly ranked the squad on goals scored rather than assists) to an ok to muggish one but, having gone so far down the road with it, I decided it was worth a couple of quid. Hills the only other firm to price the market and they go 28/1. His tournament assists can be bought at 0.9 with only a few players meriting a quote >1 (De Bruyne at 1.6 being market favourite). 3 or 4 assists could well be enough to win this market. Admittedly he'll probably shoot even when passing is the right thing

  48. My first bet is to buy total substitute goals for 12 points at 17.5 with SPIN (based on all 51 games and includes extra time). Obviously there's the whole 5 subs allowed thing to factor into the equation, which can only increase the expected number of goals scored by replacements (though I'm not aware of the precise stats for the effect of this change). There were 19 goals scored by subs in Euro 2016 (14 in the group stages). That equates to 17.6% of all goals scored in what was a low-scoring tournament with an unusual tendency for late goals. There were 11 in 2012 (when there were f

I actually think we have a more talented squad now but we have a much more difficult group. Italy are, in my opinion, one of the favourites along with France, Portugal, and England to win the tournament. Turkey boast one of the best defensive records in international football right now. Switzerland are always a tricky opponent at the best of times as well. I think that opening game against Switzerland is key for Wales. If we can s
