Been a disappointing couple of sessions on the back of a couple of good ones which is annoying as well as the fact the last two Nap's have both been beaten after going 3/3 on that front. It's going to be a busy Bank Holiday weekend with games on Saturday and Monday but hopefully it will be a profitable. I have 8 bets on Saturday. Previews to follow Chorley v Hartlepool Chorley got off to a solid start back at this level, but things have really gone wrong in their last two games conceding 10 goals. It seems that the high of promotion has warn off and the reality has set in. It se6 points -

Aston Villa vs Everton The Premier League action kicks off early this weekend with a Friday night match-up between top flight new boys Aston Villa and a side hoping to breach the top six this season in Everton. Kick-off is 8pm BST from Villa Park and there is no doubt that both sides could do with the three points here. The visiting side edge it on paper but is that enough? Aston Villa were criticised for spending over £100 million on new signings over the summer but many felt they had invested more wisely than Fulham had last season. Dean Smith strengthened where necessary and when4 points -
My main bet this weekend is Norwich +1 vs Chelsea at evens. Chelsea at odds on in their current state instinctively feels wrong to me and I think they are being priced up on reputation rather than the ability of their team. Norwich look like they will score goals this season, although Pukki's form will drop off at some point. I like the fact Norwich are giving a chance to most of the team from last season. Team spirit must be good, and they will be confident after the Newcastle win. Chelsea to me look short of a top striker. Giroud has never been prolific, Abraham is unproven a3 points

Manchester United vs Crystal Palace Correct score 2:0 Last season the most common correct score in the Premiership was 2:0 and so far this season there has not been one such match after 2 rounds. 4 out of 10 Premiership games between Manchester United and Crystal Palace at Old Trafford have finished 2:0 for the Red Devils. The average Premier League match at Old Trafford had 2.2 goals for Manchester United and 0.2 goals for Crystal Palace. The only PL goals for Palace at the Theatre of Dreams came 15 years ago when they lost 5:2 and sir Alex was still in charge. Actually si2 points

I agree on Stoke, the manager was slagging them off after their last game, I backed them way too many times last season but won't be making that mistake again! My only bet so far is on Swansea to beat Birmingham. Just short of evens looks a great price to me. I backed Barnsley to beat Birmingham but they weren't good enough, but Swansea are in form and should be in the play-off mix and look more like 1/2 shots to me. Scored 3 in each of their last 3 games and if Birmingham fold like they did against Forest I can see Swansea smashing them, so I will have a small bet on the -2 handicap @2 points

Also tempted by Burnley +1 vs Wolves at around evens. This is the kind of game Wolves didn't do so well in last season, and coming off a EL game vs Torino on Thursday and the Man Utd game on Monday there will be one or two tired legs. Burnley played quite well in defeat vs Arsenal, and they do have some capable players (Barnes/Wood etc). I think they will score at least once, and if they can do that, it might well be enough to get at least a draw as Wolves aren't often that prolific in front of goal.2 points -

i fancy southampton to win. i this it's their time after all the effort they have put in in last few games and let's face brighton are not world beaters. this match looks even but southampton is my choice win narrowly leicester is not going to be as good as they where when they had a but of cutting edge with mahrez, kante and maguire but even so they kept vardy in the team and he needs assists which team has struggled to provide. they look solid side and i fancy them to win this match narrowly as long as they can keep sheff utd away and not invite them on. i am not convinced by watfo2 points

my eyes will be on fiorentina to see how they fare against napoli. i respect ancelotti as manager and i think he always get the best out of players but would have liked to a new striker in the club. they are the closest rivals to juventus and they will win a lot of games but fiorentina was just awful. they could win many matches and seem stuck in the loop of draws but this season i want to know if they've got something extra. i'm skipping this match just to be safe i think sampdoria could win over lazio. they were solid side at home when they had their game on. lazio will play open game a1 point -

it was good start by sevilla. i hope they can continue their winning run. without reading too much into atletico bilbao win over barcelona last week, i think they will find getafe very hard at home. getafe was a solid side last season and at home they should narrowly win maybe 1-01 point -

there seems to be a lot more focus on defense in everton camp and that's why they haven't been prolific in front of goal. i don't expect more than one goal from everton at this stage. aston villa likewise will fancy themselves getting on the scoresheet but realistically in my opinion this has got a 1-1 draw written on it.1 point -

Although Gaziantep seemed unbalanced with a lot of new players signed, Fenerbahce played very well last week. But two players are injured and cannot play against Basaksehir( Mauricio Isla and Victor Moses). Hasan Ali Kaldirim is still injured. Defensive midfielder Jailson is playing as centre back. With the problems Fenerbahce facing at back, I can see Basaksehir scores with players such as Robinho(he seems not ready yet) and Visca. Fenerbahce can also score with strong front line like Muriqi and Kruse. Both to score and over 2.5 line are playable.1 point -

Besiktas has problems. Atiba Hutchinson and Burak Yilmaz are important missings. They lost 3-0 to Sivasspor last week. Luckily, their opponent Goztepe is one of the worst team away teams. Besiktas will play aggresively in front of fans. This year they had scoring problems also in preparation matches. If they cannot score an early goal, fans will start protesting. I think fans are not happy with the ex-Basaksehir coach Abdullah Avci after Senol Gunes signed to National Team.1 point -

Granada v Sevilla- Sevilla to win at 1.98 with Pinnacle Sevilla outplayed and deservedly won against Espanyol in the first round. If they manage to repeat their performance from last week, they should have no problem with Granada. The hosts in this match made a great comeback from 2-4 against Villarreal to 4-4. This was largely due to the poor play in defense of their opponent. Sevilla is posting big ambitions this season and away visits like this should be taken without problems.1 point -

the championship is unraveling very well and so far it's clear where every teams stands strenghtwise and formwise. i think opposing stoke is pretty good way to go. i just think they have lost a bit of their identity. i remember the days when hughes and pulis used to manage them. their physical and hard to breakdown style is gone. they now try to take teams on and win games and i can only see them being a good prey for better teams. fulham have woken up and adjusted to the championship and the goals at starting to go in as well. i think they will just continue to be better at home especial1 point -

Sheffield Utd v Leicester- Leicester to win at 2.25 with Bet365 Sheffield started the new campaign very well, earning 4 points in their first 2 games against Bournemouth and Palace. As newcomers to the league I don't think they will be able to keep a high level for a long time and I expect that they will have a difficult time in the next match. Leicester scored 2 straight draws against solid teams such as Wolves and Chelsea, but for a team with their ambitions they should look to win as their opponent is comfortable enough.1 point -

A few words about Fenerbahce. The newcomers Muriqi, Kruse, Rodrigues and Zanka are expected to start in the starting eleven. Tolgay Arslan, Serdar Aziz and Hasan Ali Kaldırım are injured. Kaldırım has no replacement. Right back Dirar is expected to play left back. since Aziz is injured and Skrtel left the club, there is a big question mark on who will play as center backs. Probably Zanka(dont know if he is ready) and Jailson (defensive midfielder). Although Ozan Tufan seemed well in the preparation matchs, fans are expecting Luis Gustavo instead. Veteran Belozoğlu is 36 years old now and canno1 point
