Re: Anytime Goalscorers, 2010/11 Version Saturday's picks: Samir Nasri, Arsenal (v Stoke), 63%, 16/11, 187 units Wesley Thomas, Cheltenham (v Stockport), 68%, 6/4, 233 units Andrew Drury, Luton (v York), 53%, 10/3, 194 units Hugo Almedia, Werder Bremen (v Kaiserslautern), 79%, 23/17, 317 units Matthew Amoah, NAC Breda (v Vitesse), 48%, 8/5, 77 units Dimitri Bulykin, Den Haag (v Willem II), 63%, 10/11, 111 units The English games at least are subject to the weather - I'm not far from Cheltenham and it's still snowing onto a couple of inches. (And I wouldn't touch the Cheltenham bet normally anyway - Thomas sneaked in due to great early season form but only a single goal in his last six.)

Almedia is suspended I think.

Re: Anytime Goalscorers, 2010/11 Version Some for 28 December: Chris Iwelumo, Burnley (v Scunthorpe), 52%, 13/8, 23 units (Boylesports) Bradley Wright-Phillips, Plymouth (v Notts County), 59%, 6/4, 158 units (PaddyPower) Mango Vieria, Fleetwood (v Southport), 74%, 10/11, 226 units (Coral) One that didn't make the cut because his record isn't quite good enough is Liam Trotter, who is 6/1 with PaddyPower despite scoring in three of seven and who Mr Kelly suggests backing with 155 units. I have been looking at players who fall outside the 50% cutoff, but in general for these players Kelly's suggested bets are so low that it's not worth the effort of the extra work.
