Blackstock
Re: Poland Ekstraklasa 2010/2011 Although I'm also on Jagiellonia to win this game, you need to keep in mind that you've presented whole season stats, which look really tasty. And home win should be without any doubts. But... ... in "spring round" Jagiellonia is one of the worst teams. I've seen all of the matches (in fact I support them for a long period of time) and we won last 2 games. In fact, we weren't so much better than Arka and Zaglebie. First game could go either way - it had finished 1:0 for us. Zaglebie lost first goal after penalty, in 2nd half they got 2 red cards so it was quite easy to get 3 points for a win. But few weeks ago, we've lost first home game in this season with Lechia, beating earlier Wisla Krakow and Lech Poznan (polish representatives in european championships). I'm not saying we're gonna lose. I'm only warning not to base on stats strictly. Jagiellonia last year and this year is a completely different firm. Frankowski struggle the lack of efficiency (7th placed all time top strikers in the history of Polish Football League with almost 150 goals scored), Grosicki was transfered to Sivaspor. Last 2 games bring hope something changes for better. However, fingers crossed for my home team! Best luck to all of You.
Hobbit
Re: Poland Ekstraklasa 2010/2011 True words above, Gornik is very impressive lately. In last games were playing very well, had lots of chances to score. Jaga won twice in a row but first was poor game against Arka, very lucky win. And against Zaglebie they played when hosts were missing almost all key players due to injuries and suspensions. To early yet to say if the real Jaga is already back. Slask Wroclaw has a score in the home of w4-l3-d4 goals scored 16 goals against 11 while the Wisla Krakow has a score out of the house w4-d3-l4 goals scored 11 goals against 14. In one of the most interesting meetings this week, Slask Wroclaw today will host the team that is No. 1, Wisla hoping to strengthen its leadership. Wisla has 3 point lead over Jagiellonia after the latter won the game yesterday. Wislacomes a good win against Belchatow , 3-1and hopes to do the same performance today . Slask in the last two home games has managed to earn one point. Korona have lost the last round, so ended the great run of fourteen consecutive games without defeat. Both teams will not be able to play with the best teams because of absences. The visiting team wants to win the match to lead to the + 6 points behind the second. This encounter is characterized by a visiting team in greater evidence than the home team. The second sign is likely. :hope:hope:hope

Both teams are looking for a place in the European Cup. Poland are performing well, under the guidance of coach Jacek Zielinski. They have won four consecutive games, and in the last three have not addressed a single goal. In the last two games in front of their audience Poland won 1-0 with Lech Poznan, control'Arca and won 4-0. Slask has played a good game last week with Wisla Krakow. Slask Away is unbeaten in seven games, but has only two victories. Given the important absences in the visiting team I think the home team can do its the game. Hobbit
Re: Poland Ekstraklasa 2010/2011 Gornik Zabrze - Legia Warszawa 1 DNB @2.04 SBO As weird as it might sound there is a chance that these odds can be higher later. But I already think its enough to post here. Why higher? Cause Legia used to do well here lately, but it doesnt matter, Gornik these round is the best Gornik I have seen in years. Their transfers made were fantastic. Jez? How is it possible that best player of Slovak league comes to Gornik, till today cant believe it, he deciding pass to forwards is splendid. Gasparik and Sikorski both playing very well too. They miss nobody today, best team and at home Gornik is a team capable beating all teams in league. No exagerration here. They have already beaten twice this season Wisla Krakow (best team in league). And game against Legia rises motivation for Gornik, this has been a classic game in years where both Legia and Gornik were mighty of polish footbal (not my life though lol). Legia won polish cup and their target has been reached, they are in Euro Cups and has no chance for title. They can either play relaxed or better or lousy and not motivated/concentrated. We are talking about a team who lost 11 games already this sesason. Nobody should be scared of them. They will both regular centreback, and who knows how many subs coach will use as already is preparing team for next season. I am not 100% sure but Legia today should be as well without fans support, Gornik stadium under maintenance. After 3 road games Gornik is back home and can see them winning this game. Hobbit
Re: Poland Ekstraklasa 2010/2011 Wisla Krakow (-1) - Cracovia Krakow 1 @1.99 IBC Cracovia after terrible first round had a better this one and surprisingly can still leave relegation zone, actually at the moment I give them biggest chances from the bottom 3 to save it. But we are talking today about road game against best team in Poland. This line would have been clearly at least -1.25 if Cracovia wasnt fighting against the drop. They are still a team pretty pathetic on road. They will have no support of fans on hostile teritory. Last season it was Cracovia who denied Wisla the champs crown. They want revenge and with a win today Wisla will be crown already today. Best team avaialable, lost of individual quality upfront against very shaky defense who always gives chances to opposing teams. I cant see Wisla not winning it, hdc should be beaten too. Hobbit
Re: Poland Ekstraklasa 2010/2011 Gornik Zabrze - Slask Wroclaw 1 DNB @1.82 SBO Gornik at home has to be treated with respect. Playing with best XI they can beat at home every team in league. They are the only team that have beaten current champs Wisla twice in season, not even conceding a goal. 3 games left, both teams of course want to end as high as possible. But in Gornik I see quality, fantastic Jez as playmaker, good form of Sikorski upfront and two very good wingers. Their offense and home ground is a lot, and we are having DNB. Its been like 7 months since last time they lost as hosts. There was a full week rest so dont expect any changes in Gornik's lineup (no resting) meaning they can field best XI. Slask is doing some great work on their own, but they are riding their luck as hell. They are usually worse team than their opponents and yet somehow win. I cant stand myself to see such overachiever. Its high time they loose deservedly. They are without Fojut, Kazmierczak and Gikiewicz, all 3 would be starters, Kazmierczak is key. I do believe there is no chance Gornik looses today and very likely being the better team can produce goals in our favour.
