Melbourne
Re: Australia A-League 2010/2011 Season NQF-CCM over 2.5 @ 2.24 (Betfair) North Queensland missing Eric Akoto in the centre of defense with Osama Malik filling in their. Has never played in the position before (is a winger/striker that has been converted to centre mid). There has been an average of 3.08 goals a gamein NQ games this season. 16 goals in their last 5 games, the last time these two sides met it ended 3-2 to Central Coast. Central Coast won 5-0 last time out so are in good goalscoring form. Only one of NQ's home games has gone under so far this season. Central Coast are usually a pretty low scoring side but with NQ looking to take the ascendancy at home i can see goals in this fixture. Hutchinson missing that free header in the 6 yard box during the second half, clear pen not given + about 4 or 5 good chances that CCM didn't take in the first half. blackcrow
Re: Australia A-League 2010/2011 Season Melbourne Victory @ 2.29 pinnacle Opportunity for Melbourne Victory to jump over Gold Coast here into 4th place with a win here, and the fact that they get their gun striker Thompson back, will help their chances. They have been playing well of late and their movement of the ball has been quick and productive, and they are looking good at home once again. Having beaten their rivals Adelaide and Sydney, they are making their home ground a fortress again, and while the Gold Coast have been picking up points on the road, they could meet their match here. Melbourne for mine, have too many quality players on the ball, while their defence is pretty solid. GC too has a solid defence but they tend to rely on 3 or 4 players to hold the team together and if they have an off day, then they tend to struggle. A rejuvenated Victory side has players like Kruse, Hernandez and Pondeljak who can turn a game, and with Thompson back, another weapon is there to win the game for them. Brisbane @ 2.34 pinnacle Top of the table clash here as Brisbane look to continue their league best home form, as they have 5 wins and 2 draws, scoring 12 goals and conceding just 3 goals. Adelaide are the most attacking team in the league when playing away with 11 goals in their 7 away games but the concern is that they have also conceded 8 goals, as they have 3 wins, 3 draws and a loss. They also can look to the fact that they are undefeated against Brisbane in their last 8 games in Brisbane, but this Brisbane side is their best team they have fielded since the start of the A-League and are playing some very good football. Defensively like them to hold out Adelaide as they do nto give much away and with Adelaide without their two best attacking players in Leckie and Flores, then can see Brisbane nicking a goal against this Adelaide defence that can be breached. Going with the home team here

blackcrow
Re: Australia A-League 2010/2011 Season Sydney -1.5 @ 3.35 bet365 Sydney look to continue their good form of late with a win over Newcastle as they defeated Perth 3-0 on the road and drew 1-1 at home with the league leaders Brisbane. Newcastle have drawn 2 and lost 2 of their last 4 games, scoring just 1 goal in these games. Their defence has been solid but will have to be without their organiser in defence in Milicevic, and he will be replaced by the young and inexperienced Regan, while defensive midfielder Wehrman is als out. Sydney has the opportunity here to take advantage of this, and they are much better than their last position. The last couple of weeks has seen an improvement in their game, and like them to do well against Newcastle, who not only struggle to score, but it looks like there are problems within their camp, as the two players who are out are due to discplinary reasons. Believe Brosque and Cazarine who will be too much for Newcastle to handle and can see them winning well. Perth -1.5 @ 4.10 bet365 Perth will be encourged that maybe they are starting to get back up again after some poor form of late with their encouragin midweek draw with Melbourne Heart, where there was much more work and determination evident than in recent weeks. They will will look to continue their very good home record they have against Wellington where they have won the last 4 games, scoring 7 goals and conceding just 1 goal. For Wellington, they have a long 8 hour flight to Perth and it is no wonder that they have struggled to get a result there. Also they have allowed 3 goals in each of their last 2 road games, with 12 goals allowed in their last 4 games overall, and have picked up just one point. Cannot see them getting out of their slump here, as a rejuvenated Perth side look good value to win this one well

Was very scrappy game 0-0 at half time then Perth got man sent off and Adelade scored from ensuring free kick. Ref had a shocker dishing out nine yellow cards. Perth have went four games without scoring and have major problems in that area, but Adelade was poor in a low class game.
blackcrow
Re: Australia A-League 2010/2011 Season Gold Coast @ 2.05 pinnacle Gold Coast have won 3 and drawn the other of the 4 clashes between these two sides so far. They managed to jag an unlikely win over the Melbourne Victory last week to increase their unbeaten run to 9 games. They have allowed just 1 goal in the last 4 gams so their defence is solid but the concern is that they have scored just 3 goals in these 4 games. Sydney on the other hand, were unimpressive in the win over Newcastle and were second best in the 1-1 draw with Brisbane. They do struggle to score and now are without Bridge and Carle which reduces their attacking options. Like Gold Coast the edge this, as they grind away this Sydney side, and do enough to win this

blackcrow
Re: Australia A-League 2010/2011 Season Gold Coast @ 2.05 :D Central Coast @ 3.09 pinnacle Central Coast have not scored in their last 6 games with Wellington, but that was when Wellington were playing well while CC were struggling. Now it is the other way around and it is CC who has been playing well, as they have 5 wins and a draw in their last 7 games, with 5 clean sheets in these games, while just 2 goals conceded in each in the other two games. Wellington, on the other hand had 4 losses prior to their 1-0 win over a poor Perth side, and it is still early to suggest they have some form now. They had allowed at least 2 goals in each of these previous 4 games, and with just 2 wins in their last 8 games, the game leans CC's way to get a rare win over Wellington. Adelaide @ 2.34 pinnacle Newcastle have just scored 1 goal in their last 5 games, with just 2 draws in these games. While they have only allowed 5 goals, the problems that lie in front of goals is the reason why they are struggling to pick up more points. Adelaide bounced back from their loss to Brisbane with a regulation 2-0 win over Perth. They had Dodd and Flores returning in that win and even though they are without Leckie for the season, they do have these two with van Dijk to score the goals. Adelaide can score while Newcastle cannot, and that looks likely to see the away team win this game

blackcrow
Re: Australia A-League 2010/2011 Season Melbourne Heart - Brisbane over 2.5 @ 2.15 pinnacle Melbourne Heart have scored and conceded in 3 of their last 5 games at home, while they have scored at least 2 goals in 4 of their last 6 games. Brisbane too has been among the goals, as they have scored 4 goals in their last 2 games, and they have scored and conceded in 4 of their last 6 games. Like both teams, who are in form, to both score here, setting it up for the third goal and going over Melbourne Victory @ 2.64 pinnacle Melbourne Victory -1.5 @ 5.50 bet365 Perth have not scored in their last 5 games, as their general play has deteriorated, and the new coach they have is not fit for this job. They have allowed 11 goals in these 5 games, so no reason to suggest that the Victory cannot win by at least 2 goals here, as they should have won the game against Central Coast last week. While they have conceded 6 goals in their last 5 games, hard to see Perth scoring here, while the Victory have scored 7 goals themselves in these games, and Thompson should be much fitter for this game having returned last week after a long lay off due to a knee injury.
