Re: Good news yeah i'd say bellagio too, just for it's position:ok venetian is very nice(stayed there before) think the wynn is a little too far off strip but looks awesome.if it was me i'd go for the hotel mandalay bay, easily the nicest rooms ive stayed in and a nice relaxed feel round the pool etc. dont forget the $10 trick(or maybe a $20 in any of these:)) and mention your on honeymoon at the desk, bound to get at least a good view, maybe bumped to better room etc;)

Re: Good news Congrats:clap, Are you out there for Christmas and New Year? We did the honeymoon in vegas for two weeks over Christmas and New Year 2007/08. Watched a show and had Christmas dinner in the Wynn (Italian), very nice. I personally prefer cheap so we stayed in the Luxor and previously Mandalay Bay (not too cheap) and circus circus (very cheap). Out of the Venitian and the Wynn I would choose Wynn, just seemed to have more understated class. But if I could stay anywhere it would be the Bellagio, if money's not too much of a problem then get a view of the fountains. Good luck. :hope ps. really jelous, with a little one on the way I think its going to be a few years till I get back out there.

Re: Good news Congrats! I've never stayed at the Venetian, but everyone I know who has says the rooms are fantastic. I stayed at the Wynn this year for the WSOP and the room was really good. It's a great location and feels a bit classier than the Venetian imo and the restaurants there are superb. It's also right opposite the fashion show mall if you want to do some shopping, just try and walk her quickly past the Wynn shops!

Christmas really isnt a big deal out there. The first week we was there it was totally dead but use this to your advantage and do all the tourist stuff in the first week. Aquarium (Mandalay Bay) Tigers (MGM) Outdoor Show (TI) Volcano (Mirage) Fountains (Bellagio) Are all alot easier to see with less crowds. You will have a better chance of getting tickets to the shows you want in the first week. They do have "day after Christmas sales" and New Year sales, so save your money till then. Don't get too disheartened about how quiet it is because come New Years Eve it can get upto 100% capacity (which is alot of people) mainly youngsters. And alot of fish at the table's :D. Can't give you any poker tips, looking at your Blog you would be playing higher stakes than me.:$
