Lots of thought went into the two “bankersâ€Dent and Gambill as there were a number of appealing match ups. Instead of going with doubles anchored by a match priced around 1.44 I’ve gone for a two matches anchoring trebles. Neither of these anchor bets have good current form but have both decent grass form. Dent has beaten Mamitt twice on hard court and Mamitt is in very poor form as well of late. Like yesterday’s win over Kendrick I just cannot see him having the grass court experience to make things too akward for Dent. Reid has at first glance a great grass court record of 7-1 but its all against players ranked 197 or lower. His one defeat was against Greg Rusedski. Gambill is a career 19-14 but has been playing at a far higher level than Reid. Only two of those 14 defeats have come from players ranked above 100 and both were against grass court specialists (Wessels and Pioline).
