Randolph has been a fairly decent middle-long reliever, and this is his first start (2004 ERA 4.42). Consequently he will only get 65-70 pitches, and Cormier will probably take his place. In other words, I don't expect much change in the O/Us or lines as this could still be a blowout :) It depends on the bookie, when there is a pitching change most if not all of the bets are voided. I always check mlb.com for late pitcher changes prior to making bets. This way I avoid wagering on outcomes that will be voided. Also, betting exchanges are not very good at monitoring pitcher changes. In Oak @ TB game last night BF never offered a new listed market for Sosa even though change was made over an hour before start. Not sure what Hills had at that time. Which pitcher did you think was playing for TB when you did your analysis WFTE ? I would imagine you probably take the pitcher into account when looking at things but you don't mention who it was when you put the selections up. Wouldn't have really mattered as far as thinking of an Oakland win, both dont match up well to Oakland, Sosa, given his inexperience, much less so than Halama.
