Clotty
Re: Winning with Massey It's an intersting spot JTW1. Anyway, I wondered if you had any other statistics such as how differently the bankroll would look if you only backed those bets. Last of all, I'd just like to give thanks to WFTE for sharing this with all of us. Keep up the good work!

jtw1
Re: Winning with Massey The System Within A System System !!! BETS - 18 STRIKE RATE - 14 PROFIT - 97.70 pts [to a 10 pt level stake] YEILD - 54.28% Assuming a 10 pt win stake on all horses named on both system A+ B , at S.P odds no greater then 2-1. I would assume greater profit if BETFAIR was used.
maria
Re: Winning with Massey Only a tiny bit better ... at 3.0 and under, there's little difference overall, these days, between the exchange and a bookie. But with a strike-rate of 77.7% (if it holds up, of course!), one might be thinking of a staking plan other than 10-point level stakes (such as, for instance, 5% of the original bank plus the square-root of the current profit). This sort of strike-rate would (unusually) be ideal for that sort of staking. But I am reluctant (especially as a relative newbie) to take up space in this outstanding thread to discuss such details, which could so easily be misconstrued as criticism or argument! The main thing is "thank you for such brilliant system selections; and please keep them coming" ... :dude

I would assume greater profit if BETFAIR was used. Thanks for putting the effort in to reveal that. I appreaciate it. Backing all System 'A' bets along with System 'B' bets below 2/1 seem to be the best way to go judging from what your figures show. Laying the horse with the shortest odds in the races involves the 2/1 or unders could also make a tidy sum. Fingers crossed tomorrow we hit the bookie where it hurts :hope

Werdnatrebor
Re: Winning with Massey Hello to you all, as a seasoned losing punter, I am always on the look out for ways to claw back some of the £1000`s I have given the bookies over the years, so you can imagine how delighted i was to stumble across working for the enemy`s system A&B selections, a big thankyou. I just have one polite suggestion to Working for the enemy, and that is would it be possible to post your selections the night before racing at a regular time, so that we can strike the bets before work the next day, I myself start work at 7am most days and sometimes find it difficult to get the bets on.. Thanks again.

DC
Re: Winning with Massey Well done with this WFTE. Massey is certainly enjoying a nice purple patch. Looking at his top-rated alone he is 106.9% RTOI (jumps) and 102.9% RTOI (flat) for 2006 compared with the last few years where he finished below 100%. (30% runners withing 90days applied) I know there is more to it than blandly looking at the top rated (I've sussed what you're doing with the 2 selection criteria mate ;) ) but I'm particularly interested in the dual selections doing so well. It's just a shame you cannot backtrack and research how these would've fared over past seasons. All the best Danny
