I have learned to my cost over the years that invariably the corner is turned just after the bank has run out. A reasonable staking plan I have used in the past was 100 points bank. Bet 1 point level stakes. If the bank goes down to 50 points, you are probably onto a loser, but change the stakes to 1/2 point so that effectively you have another 100 bets before going broke. I think a decent sized bank is very important for any Massey based system. I have noticed over the years that the ratings tend to either be in a famine or a feast. We have had the feast with the system and must just sit out the famine until the feast arrives. Anybody know what sort of profit we would have made from betfair from the system within a system as it has only had one non-placer in all the recorded bets. The logical explaination ( and hopefully the case) is that this low period is during the change over of codes.
