ralphie7
Saturday 18/02/2006 Gowran Park 04:15 BODAKKER f/c. 8/1 stake = 10 pts WIN a last-time-out winner who should enter calculations is BODAKKER, possibly not harshly treated with a 6lb rise for last Saturday's Naas success. two of his five wins have come here over this distance. four of his five wins have come on Soft going LTO Following a couple of encouraging placed efforts, BODAKKER got back on the winning trail here, sticking to his task well after leading early on in the run-in. He was awkward at the final hurdle when delivering his challenge, but recovered quickly to record his fifth win over hurdles and his first for two years. see no reason why he can't go in again :hope

ralphie7
Re: ONE at DECENT ODDS RESULT Gowran Park 04:15 BODAKKER......3rd..8/1 chased leaders, 8th after halfway, ridden 4 out, 5th after 2 out, kept on Well Done with the Each Way guys :ok shame i did it to win :lol
ralphie7
Re: ONE at DECENT ODDS Sunday 19/02/2006 Navan 03:10 TIPPER ROAD f/c. 7/1 stake = 10 pts WIN this was a Quick System selection on 9th February finished 2nd that day @ 7/1 but interesting quotes from Pete2304 I have to say hard lines with Tipper Road. Don't know if you watched the race but I didn't think the jockeys efforts in the final few hundred yards were anything to write home about. Anyway, keep up the good work! and evad jockey rode it well until the last few hundred yards i agree, however what goes around comes around and the next time we could be on the horse that pips the jockey who forgets to ride out a finish. and myself i think we put it down to inexperience on the part of Miss Kidd. Racing Post LTO Tipper Road, carrying a mamdatory 6lb penalty for his win at Fairyhouse on Saturday, was soon close up. He led before three out and kept on well only to be grabbed close home. he runs today and is reunited with N.J.O'shea who won with him the time before last. Racing Post Tipper Road has looked an improving sort in recent weeks. He beat subsequent winner Take Your Mark at Fairyhouse and ran another sound race when just touched off by Southern Command at Thurles. looks to be in with a great chance :hope

ralphie7
Re: ONE at DECENT ODDS RESULT Navan 03:10 TIPPER ROAD.....2nd..7/1 attempted to make all, slight mistake and ridden 2 out, headed after last, kept on under pressure Tipper Road has shown good improvement in recent weeks and made a determined effort to make all. A slight error at the second last left him vulnerable to Maralan's challenge but he can continue to pay his way on this evidence aliando :ok :hope that Carl and Kotp both did it each way as well
ralphie7
Re: ONE at DECENT ODDS Monday 20/02/2006 Lingfield 01:15 POLISH POWER f/c. 7/1 stake = 10 pts WIN Racing Post Came closest to first British success when short-headed over this trip at Southwell latest; handles this surface and couldn’t rule out with stable among the winners. LTO Polish Power just failed in his bid to reel in the winner having made up ground hand over fist in the home straight. His rider was kept wide early on when jostling for position, and this probably did not do him any favours. He looks like one to keep an eye on. Carl
Re: ONE at DECENT ODDS I did Tipper on the nose but great shout anyway. polish power is 9/2 now. I shove it in a double for fun with SHAMILA 2.15 LINGFIELD Trained by Gerard Butler who's yard are bang in form at present including victory in Dubai, Shamila is the horse to beat Today and Richard and the team are confident of a success despite the 142 day absence given two impressive performances last year when finishing second on both occasions Im going against Rebellion here for value purpose only as the ex-godolphin horse should piss it. sorry for hi-jacking the thread. Considered good enough to run in the German Derby three years ago, he obviously has not lived up to what was expected of him in his earlier years, but his trainer is pleased to have got a win with him and believes he'll be able to hold his own in one of these races again. ralphie7
Re: ONE at DECENT ODDS Tuesday 21/02/2006 Sedgefield 03:20 RED PERK f/c. 7/1 stake = 10 pts WIN Racing Post No problems with trip (stays even farther) or ground and sprang back to life when 7l winner at Newcastle last week; back on career-high mark but can´t rule out if in same form. LTO held up, headway halfway, led 5 out, clear before last, pushed out Mainly exposed horses in this handicap chase, several of whom are now past their best. RED PERK stays three miles well, and acts on soft, and back on his last winning mark, gained his third career success in fair style having taken it up five out. He has remained in good order since scoring at Fairyhouse earlier this month and returns off the same mark as when nearly making all in a competitive 2m Navan contest on Sunday. what you reckon ralphie?
