Re: Vegas 2006 Philossify I also think you would do well out in Vegas. I mean I took $900, $250, $700 in 3 days and u will find the locals more than willing to hand over the $s Also every hour in the poker room will earn you $3 on ur players card to help you pay off ur room..... And as if that aint enough they also feed you with sandwiches and the best cookies u have ever tasted ALL FREE to players. Football-Tipper :)

Re: Vegas 2006 Hi FT, I may well be in Las Vegas round then, but won't know details till probably the week before or so. I plan to get out to the US some time this year, but (as a retirement prezzie to myself :cheers ) am hoping to do it as part of a bigger trip - possibly starting at my nephew's place in Virginia and then travelling slowly down to and back from San Franciso with two 3 day periods in Vegas doing all sorts of tourist things along the way. Plan to take about 6 weeks (and reckon at least £3000 and 6000+ miles to cover it). On the other hand if my financial investments (Poker :rollin ) don't do as well as I hope then I may turn it into a two week trip just doing Las Vegas and San Francisco - in which case the Autumn special seems a good option.

Re: Vegas 2006 Just having a look at the flying club miles details - http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/gb/frequentflyer/spendmiles/vaaflights.jsp Bit late for those of you who have already booked I presume, but for the rest - have you looked at "companion flights"? For every "qualifying full adult fare purchased", you can buy a companion flight for 20,000 miles (Economy) - if a Flying Club member and non member team up, you should be able to work something out where you both benefit........

Defos want to try the poker tables but also interested in what else the place has to offer. And if the pictures I've seen of Ra nightclub are anything to go by I'll be turning up there more than once! :loon
