philossify
Re: Vegas 2006 Hi FT, I may well be in Las Vegas round then, but won't know details till probably the week before or so. I plan to get out to the US some time this year, but (as a retirement prezzie to myself :cheers ) am hoping to do it as part of a bigger trip - possibly starting at my nephew's place in Virginia and then travelling slowly down to and back from San Franciso with two 3 day periods in Vegas doing all sorts of tourist things along the way. Plan to take about 6 weeks (and reckon at least £3000 and 6000+ miles to cover it). On the other hand if my financial investments (Poker :rollin ) don't do as well as I hope then I may turn it into a two week trip just doing Las Vegas and San Francisco - in which case the Autumn special seems a good option. morlspin
Re: Vegas 2006 Have the people who booked up for flights with virgin, picked there seats yet? If not, you can actually pick your seat now if you go to the virgin atlantic website, and manage your flights, retreive your booking, then it allows you to select an available seat. Im in 48H going out on the 17th Im in 48C Returning on the 22nd
GaF
Re: Vegas 2006 Just having a look at the flying club miles details - http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/gb/frequentflyer/spendmiles/vaaflights.jsp Bit late for those of you who have already booked I presume, but for the rest - have you looked at "companion flights"? For every "qualifying full adult fare purchased", you can buy a companion flight for 20,000 miles (Economy) - if a Flying Club member and non member team up, you should be able to work something out where you both benefit........ Football-Tipper
Re: Vegas 2006 hmmm its not as good as that. 1st you have to buy a higher priced ticket if you want to go companion... I think ours was £517 compared to the orig £350 You svae a little but not half price.
