slapdash
Re: EW Double System There were two non-runners , so only six ran, so only two places are paid. :( On the bright side, it means a quarter the odds for the place on Riotous Applause, instead of a fifth the odds. Im not sure i get their multiple option restrictions. They won't let you place a double on two horses in the same race, if that's what you mean? That's why I only had 8 doubles on ABCDE today: there are 10 ways to pick 2 horses from 5, but I was leaving out AB and DE, because those would have two from the same race. richards1986
Re: EW Double System Yeah im not sure if youve answered my question though! On this system, what happens if both horses place in the same race in relation to the bets on the other races? Thanks.
cavello
Re: EW Double System If 2 placed in one race and say 2 placed in another then that equals 2x2 doubles or 4 placed doubles. If you invest in an elementary statistics book and look at the section relating to combinations or permutations all will become clear. On this system, what happens if both horses place in the same race in relation to the bets on the other races? Thanks. Each double is an independent bet, so if you put doubles on A and C and on B and C, where A and B are in the same race, and if all three are placed, you get paid out on both doubles. Is that what you mean?
