Thurles provides the backdrop to a double and an unlikely one just 24 hours ago. Mullins' horse is a top class hurdler who is sent chasing while snipe can benefit from a couple of notable absentees. He fell last time out and this was meant to be a confidence restorer. But he is the main horses in this race now as the only handicap experienced runner. Harry Skelton retains the ride and provided he can settle better, this softened ground should be ideal. He has a placed point to point run and a neck second to Paddy the horse which has been very well franked since. so this longer trip will suit too.
