Only looked at Chepstow thus far.

1.55 Chep Eamon An Choic £7 win at 2.50 = £10.50 profit if matched (currently 2.2 so may not get matched, see if I care)

3.27 Chep  Funambule Sivola £7.50 win at 2.46.  Trying to get £3.50 win on Arian at 5.3 (um 4.8) Richard Johnson chinned Venetia's horse last time. £7.30 and £7.40 if either wins

4.35 Chep  Prime Pretender £3 win at at 5.2 (um 4.4) = £12.35 profit of matched and wins

Poss back later

Luckily Eamon An Cnoic was not matched at 2.50 so I have saved £7

2.35 Hunt Native Robin.  I have had £2 to win at 9.2 = £16.07 if it wins. The horse seems to have just a good as chance of winning this race as anything else. I can't see Un Prophete winning around Huntnigdon, it seems to slow to me.  I have taken a chance to lay this one one in the 2 places market for £6.12 at 2.30 I/R (currently 2.36) = £7.96 liability if it comes 1st or 2nd

RESULTS UPDATE

I find it very annoying when trainers send out their horses and they run so poorly.  imo a few of mine ran like cart horses today.  To me its not good enough to read something like the "the trainer's rep(tile) could offer no explanation for the poor performance.  I believe that there should be a thorough investigation into horses that run so poorly from consistent previous form

Anyway, just one winner today which at least yielded a net profit of £2.30 on the day.  My new balance is now £548.64 (£500 Bank)

Spare a thought for the in-running punters who staked at least £60k at short odds on Sandford Castle this afternoon in the 4.00 at Chepstow.  It looked all over a winner but got chinned a neck by Newlands Cross at 25/1.  I reckon it will take months for the in running punter(s) to get that kind of money back

A few interesting races tomorrow but there are lots with very short priced favourites too so betting opportunities are limited in the graded races.
