Trotter Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 Bit farcical at Lingfield with the boycott …….. just 15 runners spread across 6 races and mostly odds on favourites I've had a look to see if it might be worth opposing any of the shorties First race at 2.30 only has two runners but there doesn't seem much between them, market has them 5/6 and Evens …….. the price difference was bigger last night. They both look very poor but the favourite (Glutnforpunishment) does just edge it. Looking at both runners though it seems like both trainers are breaking the boycott to try and get a win out a horse that's never going to win a normal race in it's life. Second race at 3pm looks more promising with 3 runners over 12 furlongs and the odds on favourites having never won beyond a mile and all his wins except one have been at 7f. I think Love Rat at 2/1 is a viable option...…… he usually runs in worse races than the favourite but he does stay the trip …….. if they get out in front and pour some pace on there's a chance the Jolly won't get home Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sweet Nature 5/4 …… she has won a race but watching her over the last few months I've had her down as a horse that doesn't really want to win but in this field she might only have to get around to win. I can't see him upsetting the odds. 4/6 looks decent. Impossible to oppose the big odds on favourite in the last at 5pm ……. Sea's Aria at 2/7 There we go ……. best chance of an upset would be Love Rat at 2/1 in the 3pm, Sweet Nature at 5/4 is the only odds against Favourite at the moment but looks a decent proposition Treble on 3 shorties - Sea of Marengo 1/3, Haats Off 4/6, Sea's Aria 2/7 Just to try and go through the card I'll have Glutnforpunishment at 5/6 in the first ……..
