Re: WSOP Update I dont understand why they show their cards. I never show my cards regardless of the situation. I dont see the point in giving away free information. Although maybe at that level they know each others games so well anyway so maybe it doesnt matter.

Re: WSOP Update you have to say he was very unlucky. Caught Black bluffing Hand 28 - Daniel Bergsdorf has the button in seat 4, Dannenmann raises to $300,000, and Matusow calls from the small blind. The flop comes 5s-3s-2c, Matusow bets $600,000, and Dannenmann immediately says, "All in." Matusow stops the action to study his opponent. He stands up, leaning out over the table to get a good look at his opponent before calling. Dannenmann shows As-Jc, while Matusow has pocket tens (10d-10c). Dannenmann was semi-bluffing with overcards, and he'll need to catch a four, a jack, or an ace to win the pot. The turn card is the 4h, and Dannenmann makes a five-high straight to take a commanding lead in this hand. Matusow will need to catch a six or an eight to survive with a straight on the board. The river card is a 9, and Mike Matusow is eliminated in ninth place, earning $1,000,000. He walks over to Mark Seif in the crowd, who comforts him, and then the players from the final table all come over to shake his hand. Matusow is composed, but clearly disappointed. He's keeping his composure very well, and there are no outbursts or anger. Matusow is stunned.

Re: WSOP Update As for the other players.... It seems for once Matusow never exploded, infact he appears to have played perfect poker for the whole week. Very unlucky to be knocked out first...killer turn card. Black appeared to be playing very well, reading between the lines of the live updates I think he had some very strong tells on a couple of the other players. He called someone all in in a large pot holding nothing more than top pair 9 kicker, his opponent had middle pair but then outdrew him :o As it stands at this very second they are like this... 1. Joseph Hachem - $20,530,000 (seat 1) 2. Steve Dannenmann - $19,720,000 (seat 8) 3. Tex Barch - $11,300,000 (seat 3) 4. Aaron Kanter - $4,660,000 (seat 6) Anything can happen now...... Jez

Re: WSOP Update Absolute sickner for Daniel. But just remember everytime that happens there is a Mr MUzeman waiting in the wings to take advantage. Hand 211 - Steve Dannenmann has the button in seat 8, Kanter moves all in for $3,670,000, and Tex Barch calls when the action gets back around to him. Kanter shows Ad-9s, while Barch has pocket jacks (Js-Jh). The flop comes Kh-9h-7h, and Barch has a solid lead with his pair of jacks and a flush draw. Kanter makes a pair of nines, so he can catch a nine or an ace (but not a heart) to make a better hand. The turn card is the 8s, and Kanter is down to four outs with the last card to come. The river card is the Jc, and Tex Barch makes a set on the river to eliminate Aaron Kanter in fourth place, earning $2,000,000. Down to 3
