Quickly screen locked my pc when my boss came to talk to me. As he left, I went back to the game only to see my lovely 2 aces being folded preflop, with one guy already all in. One guy called him, A7s, vs KJs, the guy who called with KJ went on to make his flush. I'd have doubtless went all in, lost and been out. Insted I came 2nd and won $27.00 :ok

When you have someone with over $30 in front of them, then raising 4 x BB to 0.16c is not going to scare them away - even if he hadn't got lucky he would've probably only lost around 0.50c! Anyway, if you're staying on these tables just make sure you stalk Vince each night and claw back your cash! (with interest) Good luck. TQM

Re: Had a bad beat ? Come and have a moan here Have you tried playing low level STT's ($5) to get your bankroll to a reasonable level then trying a reasonable level cash game. If your a decent player which from the way your talking it sounds like you are then you should be able to get a decent bankroll in a short space of time from this level STT's. From the little experience i have playing the micro limit cash games i find people calling raises with anything with the thought, oh it's only $0.20! I know this doesnt solve your bankroll issue but will stop your AA being busted by the fish's 8 4os flopped two pair!

why call AI with AK so early? just wondering Damo Because I'd played against this guy a few times before, and had a note on him that he often pushed with absoulte trash. I (rightly) figured I was a huge fav with my AK, although in early position there was always the danger of a 2nd caller with a good pocket pair. I'm finding my player notes on Tribeca are really starting to add value to my game, it helps me identify bad and good players. I play same time of day, same limits so I see the same players many times. I keep the tournement lobby open, and look for games in progress that are down to around three players. I make a note on anyone that itm's. Three or more itms agaisnt a players name I mark tghem as a danger. Two or more players marked as a danger, and I'll not play at a STT. I always sit down last at a STT.
