Come and have a moan here Well, this was a long while back, and I both can't forget it and haven't tried too hard to remember it, so I'll maybe be filling in details that may not be exactly right, but the essence will be the same, as I remember looking up the odds right after it happened. Early in a low buy-in with money added, I had 9/9 and a 9, 5 and 5 comes down. We're both all-in... he has like K/2 unsuited (no, really!)... turn and river are both kings. I seem to remember it saying he'd be out 997 times out of 1000, but now I can only make it say 996 out of 1000, so maybe the calculator was wrong, or it was even worse than I can remember, but that's mainly what happened. Both things happened...he bafflingly ends up all-in with me AND it came out. Does make you wonder, huh!? Maybe I shoulda played it harder to avoid the suckout... As its a rebuy expect some mad play. Have just been sucked out by a guy with J7 against my AK where is hits his 7 on the river. Down to $1500. Get AA's and bet $300 hopping to induce a push. Sure enough same guy who sucked out on me reraises me all in. Call He turns over K9 off. flop is 1010J rainbow then Q on turn and he hits his 1 of 3 outs on river with a 9 giving him the straight. Rebuy. 4 hands later get AA. same guy shoves and I call my remaining $1500. He shows A3 off and flop comes 459 rainbow, 6 on turn and 7 on river giving him another straight. Dealt KK on both tables at the same time and then lose to Coral A8 with runner runner 8's and on paddy power to JJ when I flop a full house of KJJ and he flops quads. I had AKhh on the Cut Off, I raised to 200 (25/50Blinds). Only to be re raised (800) by the button who had been quite conservative at the time. I debated shoving then but though I would see whether I connected the flop as I felt he had a big pocket pair. The blinds both folded and the flop came down KdKs10d. I lead out with a bet, he re raised me and I shoved. The guy tanked for a while and thought I could of made same move with a 10 and called showing AdAs. The turn came another diamond, river a Diamond and he made his Flush. I ended up left with a small amount, a guy raised (who in first two levels already had Aces 3 times). I shoved with A10.
