Play a $20 STT last night, make some bad calls and end up short at the bubble, I claw my way back to a respectable chip stack during a bubble that last 30 mins, still last though. In the BB I get AA, first to act raises for about half my stack, everyone else folds, I insta push, he calls and turns over 44. Needless to say he rivers a 4 to knock me out. I had pocket kings and and on the flop comes a 9, King and Ace, all unsuited. I'm thinking it is looking good that i hope someone can get sucked in against my three of a kind kings as there is no flush possibilities. Everyone folds apart from one other player to my big raise. The turn brings out another ace, and i check onto the other player, and he also checks. On the river a king comes out so that i have four of a kind kings. I go all in to be called by the other player who reveals pocket Aces!!! Luckily i had more chips than him to stay in the tournament quite along time later but could not believe what i saw when i saw he had pocket aces. Fair enough people having doubts after the turn as i could have been behind to a full house if someone had one ace, which is why i checked and i admit it was good play from him to check with his hand. Then to find out he had two aces is a shocker, i'm still disgusted at it now. If anyone could honestly say they thought they would be behind after the river i can truly say they are a liar. Come and have a moan here That is fair enough that i was never ahead but i would love to meet a player that thought they were behind after the flop or after the river. Fair enough people having doubts after the turn as i could have been behind to a full house if someone had one ace' date=' which is why i checked and i admit it was good play from him to check with his hand. Then to find out he had two aces is a shocker, i'm still disgusted at it now. If anyone could honestly say they thought they would be behind after the river i can truly say they are a liar.
