Shambata 2015

Recommended Posts

Hi! I will be posting my picks here, my records, my thoughts for the rest of this year. I hereby would like to thank CzechPunter for giving me this opportunity! I will make the most out of it and hopefully we can get a lot winners together. I finished the off season january betting with a woeful record -16,73 units but I feel I had many matches robbed, also tried the WTA but its impossible for me yet.... I will stick ITF and my luck is also changed, I'm 5 for 6 in my last 6. I have put it together for you with some comments to see though, its pretty rough, I had a 7 game losing streak as well for the thrith of it. I will focus from now on again on ITF and on building the bankroll nicely step by step, how it is done. Will start it from 0 units again, be very careful with my selections and I hope to get as many people to follow me as I can! Let's make some cash together!! GL! Here below you can see my betting record for last year, posted here on the forum as well, except the december month. I will update this monthly and make it available to you: https://app.box.com/s/fzz1gozwxksd7d281o5opxe70jx2wyti I will copy my picks for today here from the AusOpen forum, which I already has posted there, so its clear to see. Vamos!!!

Re: Shambata 2015 Helena Scholsen to beat Csilla Argyelan (El Kantaoui 10k)@3.00, bet365, 5/10 Argyelan coming from indoors, and usually practices on clay, u can chexk how many hard court tournament she has played, almost none... Scholsen has been here for 2 weeks already, this is her 3rd week already in sunny windy Tunesia. Huge advantage dor Scholsen. Argyelan's game is for clay Scholsen definitely a hard court player. In this cirxumstances for Argyelan's first match of the season, we must fade her, especially at this price! After all Scholsen has beaten some decent players in the past that I rank better or equal than Argyelan (Hrabalova, Silich, Costa Melgar etc) GL! Miyahara/Yokota to beat Fedosenkova/Raszkiewicz (El Kantaoui 10k WD)@2.00, bet365, 5/10 The japaneae are clearly imo the better doubles players. It is true that Fedo and Rasz has been playing together every tournament now for some time but that does not mean they are successful (1/6 win only) Japanese players are usually sound together no matter if they have common history or not. The reason for my bet is that both Miyahara and Yokota has had better doubles results than her opponents and from their opp I have a low opinion of Fedosenkova esp as a tennis player, who has a woeful 3/14 doubles record (Rasz has 6/22) Im taking the better doubles team for plus money! GL! Polina Golubovskaya to beat Anastasia Chikalkina (Aktobe 10k)@1.72, bet366, 5/10 Golubovskaya at 15 is already almost top100 junior, she will be twice the player in juniors then Chikalkina ever was. That shows more talent and much more potential. She has alteady showed us what she is capable of by beaing Strakhova on the very fast Sharm surface last year amd only losoing in the semis after that. Dont get fooled by Chikalkina's last weeks result, she has beaten a bad player in Smagina (only 64 in the 3rd) and Klyueva who has not won a match for a long long time, so I account last weeks performance a lucky draw. Where Golubovskaya had to play Palkina, ex 200 wta player... not the same! GL

Re: Shambata 2015 Flood/Silva to beat Gaydarzhi/Intert (Sharm el Sheikh WD)@1.4 MIchiels/Van der Sypt to beat Chernetsova/Piskun (Sharm el Sheikh WD)@1,57 Double @2,19, bet365, 5/10 I love analyzing doubles, especially in sharm, where the surface is really fast. It does favor hard court palyers and agressive playing styles like the one flood/silva or the beligan has. Lets break it down a little more, flood had really awesome wins in itf doubles already beating on Gao/Ye or Wannasuk/Wongteanthchai before, with Silva they are a dynamic duo, against Gaydarzhi Flood alrady won in doubles alst week by the score of 62 62 where Gaydarzhis partner was Drew, who is the same or better than this weekls partner Intert. Really easy matchup imo. THe other is more straightforward, CHernetsova has lost her last 9 doubles match so thats not a coincidence, and she is teamed up with Piskun who is NOT an agressive player nor a doubles specialist. THey are playing the hard hitting belgians, who both are in good form, Michiels showed doubles potential already twice when she has advance one round on a 25k level beting very good opponents, Van der Sypt is in good singles form and already played together with Miciels a few times, reaching the semis once. I think this is an even bigger mismatch here. Take this double! GL!

Re: Shambata 2015 Fanni Stollár to beat Marie Norris (Petit Bourge 10k)@1.83, bet365, 6/10 Fanni is a top junior, pretty close to Galfi the other hungarian big promise. She is 14th in the junior ranking and she is not afraid to show her talent in adults as well, where she has beat Haddad Maia and others to reach the semis of a 10k last year in the summer. SHe has gotten much better since then, she has an agressive type of game, had wins over Zarazua, Rosca, Heinova, Samir. She is playing with no pressure and I believe she will be a favourite to win this tournament also. She pratcices in Florida on hard courts so while she played much more clay tournaments, I dont think that will be an issue. NOrris is a decent player, but not enough here, imo. Her result last week against Arconada (worse than Stollar imo) where she lost 1,2 underlines this. She also lost 1,1 against Haddad Maia, whereas Stollar has beat her, so I think we are getting value with 1.83 here! GL!

Re: Shambata 2015 3-2 for the day, hitting the 3.00 with Scholsen, very happy about that, therefore +10u for the day. Great pick with the japanese doubles and Stollar, winning 2,2 and 1,2. for 2.00 and 1.83, sweet. Golubovskaya was leading 41 and gave up everything after that. Im not sure what happened with flood/silva, but the score was the other way around, might be some injury, not sure will keep an eye on both in singles, might fade them.... updated bankroll: +10 units

Re: Shambata 2015 Britt Geukens to beat Melanie Klaffner (Sharm 10k)4.00, bet365, 3/10 Geukens finding form lately (best maggen and stadler and almost beat papamichail who later win the tourney) Klaffner is on her comeback, definite clay courter, who lost to Stadler last week in first round. She does not have the cinfidence nor the style of game for this court to be this big of a fav! If Geukens keeps her cool, upset is very likely!! GL Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Shambata 2015 Elena Van Der Sypt to beat Emma Flood (Sharm 10k)@2.37, bet365, 4/10 The belgian lost 3 games in 4 sets in he qualis, so she must feel the ball somewhat!! She has had successes in sharm before as this fast surface suits her game. She has wins over Parrisaz and Bruzzone her earlier last year so that also shows she likes it here. Her wins the last two tournaments over Siedliska and Minnen shows me that she is an underrated player when you look at her ranking. Flood is a decent player but these conditions does not suit her game, she lost first round last week and lost 2 doubles last week and yesterday miserably. She is not signes for next week's sharm so this tough matchup could dwell on her if she loses the first set. GL! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Shambata 2015 Gioia Barbieri to beat Paula Kania (Andrezieux-Boutheon 25k)@1.83 bet365, 5/10 Barbieris last indoor hard court results in october, novber include wins over Amanmuradova, Hogenkamp, Konta, Krejcikova, Van Uytvanck, Putintseva. All top100 or close to it. Most of these results happened in France as well, so must mean she feels a little home away from home. She loves to pound the ball and Kania is nowhere near her confidence to make this one an easy matchup for her... She has had some worrying results like losing to Kontaveit 1,2 in the aus open Q. I would not say we get value with 1.83 here, but the odds are rightfully low for Barbieri as she is imo the fav to win this one! GL! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Shambata 2015 Nina Stadler to beat Kelly Versteeg (Sharm 10k)@2.62, bet365, 4/10 Stadler had some success in sharm before like Klaffner, Silva, Morgina, Sherif, so its fair to say that causing upsets in sharm el sheikh is nothing new to her. She is facing Versteeg who is rhe 8th seed bit might as well be unseeded for that matter. She is not in great form losing to Daniels last week in straight sets indoor hard court Stuttgart nor did she have a particular good ending last year, now there is sun and wind in egypt and a first round match against a girl who beat many better players than she is, including ex top150 wta Klaffner last week. 2.62 for that is value! The only worrysome fact is Stadler's inconsistency but the first rounds she usually plays well! GL! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Shambata 2015 Broomfield/Leduc to beat Mina/Partaud (Petit Bourg 10k WD)@1.83, bet365, 5/10 These girls are about the same, in singles. But the canadians are a better doubles team, looking at theur results and potential. These young grils are a competitive bunch and last week Mina/Partaud beat them very easily and I definitely think that there is a revenge factor here. Neither Mina nor Partaud is better than these girls and I think they know it. Last weeks result will likely to happen just with the winner being the canadians this time. GL!

Re: Shambata 2015 Quickly one here that will start in 30 mins: Rebeka Stolmar to beat Ekaterina Gorgodze (Antalya 10k)@5.5, bet365, 2/10 Gorgodze retired last week, so that is one reason of my bet. You can never know what you can expect from his crazy one, really... Stolmar has a baseline game, and Gorgodze will have to shoot her off the court, both girls are very tiny, so this will not be an easy task for the Georgian. Stolmar have some confidence now beating a decent Muntean and she has a new coach as well, one of he best hungarian coaches imo, he is with her so in case Gorgodze loses her temper look for Stolmar to capizalize with her secure baseline game! Speculative bet therefore only 2/10! GL Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Shambata 2015 Fanni Stollar to beat Maria-Fernanda Alvarez Teran (Petit Bourg 10k)@2.00, bet365, 6/10 LIttle more confident in Stollar after seeing her first round match, really agressive play, she dismissed talented junior Norris. It is true that ALvarez-Teran has been to the top200 but it was not nowadays. Stollar has too much talent and too much potential and she showed she does not respect her good opponents, she is not scared just to play her game. THis line just came out and will drop in our favor imo. Confident in this one! GL!

Re: Shambata 2015 Chang/Daniell to beat Stewart/Kalinskaya (Sunrise 25k WD)@2.5, bet365, 4/10 Battle of some juniors.... Looking at individual results (therefore we are getting the better odds) Stewart and Kalinskaya are better. Chang/Daniell has been playing together all last year and they have won 14/20 doubles matches together. They have beaten similar good junior doubles team like Neel/Ho, Hallbauer/Zarazua, Alves/Scholl, Bhargava/Mertens, Molnar/Whoriskey. SOme of these players have dobules ranking in the top 200-300. Now last week they have beaten De VRoome/Haddad Maia 300-400 wta doubs and yesterday won easily over first seed top 150 wta team, Bogda Melichar. THey have won a tournament already and finished 2nd twice together last year (10k's) I have won a ton of money already on them, although I did not think they can win yesterday, now I firmly believe they should be at least even vs Stewart who is not focused on the doubles today (has a tough match against Sorribes-Tormo, where she will likely lose) and partner Kalinskaya, also more of a singhles players. High in confidence, more focus and better teamwork tells me Chang/Daniell will win this!! GL

Re: Shambata 2015 Barzo/Stolmar to beat Kawasaki/Nunome 2-0 (Antalya 10k WD)@2.1, bet365, 5/10 The hungarians lost in singles but are ready for next week tournament and what is better to prepare than winning doubles matches. I think both can be OK with their singles performance, so in their head they can be ok, not so negative, but they have things to prove still after their loss yesterday. They are a sound doubles team, have beaten Mekovec/Toljan in straight sets and I believe te japanese are not enough here. See the difference in level when you look at Nunome losing 0,0 to Carreras and Barzo had set and 42 against carreras amd lost from there, yesterday. I expect a szraight set W! GL! Re: Shambata 2015 Fanni Stollar to beat Sherazad Reix (Petit Bourg 10k)@1.72, bet365, 6/10 Stollar dismantled another 2-0 victory yesterday and I have a lot of respect for Reix, I just dont see Fanni losing here. I think yesterday's win gave even more confidence and her serve was spectatular serving many aces. Reix on the other hand killed Partaud as well, but Partaud is not all that, no an Alvarez-Teran for sure. I think Fanni will be victorius again and will win the tournament! Lets ride her streak! Line opened at 1.83 so we lost some value, but it will drop to 1.66 or lower imo. GL!

Re: Shambata 2015 Marta Paigina to beat Valeriya Urzhumova 2-0 (Aktobe 10k)@1.9, bet365, 7/10 Paigina is on a roll. She is a junior to watch for sure, her 1st serve % was over 80% her last 2 matches. SHe has beaten Vinogradova and Wacanno, two classy players for the 10k level, in straight sets. Urzhumova had a very lucky draw to be here and maybe the best player she had to beat was Keren Schlomo, who is still strugglin with her comeback. Scoreline should be 62 62, even if its a final, Urzhumova also a junior player so there will be no advantage of experience here. I expect odds to drop, the match is tomorrow morning kazah time. Use the match winner in some combos if you would like, its a very good 1.33 for what its worth!! GL!

Re: Shambata 2015 Usua Maitane Arconada to beat Nicole Frenkel (Petit-Bourg 10k)@1.72, bet365, 7/10 Arconada to win 2-0 @2.87, bet365, 2/10 Arconada on double revenge spot against good friend and doubles partner Frenkel. I love this bet, for many reasons! First, the played 2 tournaments ago in the caribbean already where Frenkel was spot on that tournament, only losing to Ramialison in he quarters. Finished in the semis in the next one, I think she peaked there and now playing a little worse imo, following the games in the first rounds here, I definitely ser a decline in form. Arconada won last week beating everybody pretty easy imo. that includes bosio as well. This tournament she has already a quality win over Broomfield. I believe its time for her to ride this streak and get back to Frenkel! Also would not be surprised if it would be in style so I drizzle some on the 2-0 (gut feeling also)! Re: Shambata 2015 Charlotte Robillard-Millette to beat Isabella Holland (Burnie 50k Q)@2.5, bet365, 4/10 RobiMill has had 2 tournaments this year already and had a 5/7 matches won, in junior g1 and the aus open juniors. SHe has beaten some really good names and top20 australian juniors, Birrell and Hon (both equal or better than Holland imo. SHe went to the QF of the ausopen juniors which is a nice achievement and only lost to Mihalikova who won the whole thing later. SHe has already been introduced to adult tournaments last year and had wins over Liang, Kinard and Ayuakawa all very similar to Holland. She has been impprving a lot since then and she will be a top30 junior for sure. Only turned 16, thats my only concern, but what I found about Holland now maybe makes up for it. I dug deep into money tournaments in australia and Holland had 2 easy wis but then had to retire to Zlochova in the final so she must nurse some injury as well. Not only can be the junior a better player already, and is more in form undoubtably but maybe Holland will not be still 100%. We can try that for 2.5 odds! GL!

Re: Shambata 2015 bankroll update: +14.3 units Fanni Stollar to beat Maria-Fernanda Alvarez Teran (Petit Bourg 10k)@2.00, bet365, 6/10 W Nice call! 1st Serve % over 80%. Chang/Daniell to beat Stewart/Kalinskaya (Sunrise 25k WD)@2.5, bet365, 4/10 L Made the comeback and was leading 52 in the match breaker... Barzo/Stolmar to beat Kawasaki/Nunome 2-0 (Antalya 10k WD)@2.1,bet365, 5/10 L They were up 6-0, and lost 3/3 no ads the second set.... womens doubles is liek that sometimes.... Fanni Stollar to beat Sherazad Reix (Petit Bourg 10k)@1.72, bet365, 6/10 L Fanni was serving well again, very tough first set buzt after that pretty easy for the french, got tired in head I guess, Reix won the tourney after that. Marta Paigina to beat Valeriya Urzhumova 2-0 (Aktobe 10k)@1.9, bet365, 7/10 W Paigina is hot , she started off cold but from 2-4 she made a 64 60. Nice call! Usua Maitane Arconada to beat Nicole Frenkel (Petit-Bourg 10k)@1.72, bet365, 7/10 L Sooo many chances in the first set, too many and did not use them at all, was leading the whole way.... bad call after all Arconada to win 2-0 @2.87, bet365, 2/10 L as well... Charlotte Robillard-Millette to beat Isabella Holland (Burnie 50k Q)@2.5, bet365, 4/10 W After losing the 1st set she came back and made a nice win, although almost burned it down from 52 in the 3rd set winning only 75!

Re: Shambata 2015 Ayaka Okuno to beat Ashley Weinhold (MIdland 50k Q)@2.25, bet365, 5/10 Okuno has more matches in herself and improving in quick fashion. She ahs risen her level to the 25k and 50k tournaments for sure. Her recent form is questionable but so is Weinhold's. Okuno has played 25 matches since beginning of october, Weinhold has played 5 and that is why I dont understand the odds really. Okuno has lost to ALvarez Teran in 3 sets last week, which is imo an acceptable hard loss and after that she has won the doubles wining all matches in straight sets and there were some fine opponents compared that it was a 10k. I like the next match after closing the last tournament on a positive note, much more playingtime in the recent months and also they have a similar game, which is better for Okuno, who usually struggles when people hit her off the court. Weinhold is also more of a baseliner, she is rpetty short like Okuno and I just dont think without having palyed a match since november that Weinhold will be able to beat her at her own game today! GL!

Re: Shambata 2015 Two bets from Burnie 50k main draw since they will start at midinght CET Daria Gavrilova to beat Junri Namigata @1.28 Jill Teichmann to beat Tammy Patterson @1.57 Double @2.02, bet365, 5/10 Gavrilova has been the story of the very end of last year and beginning of this year, she has won the WC for the ausopen and then she got rreally confident and dug into some wta wins as well, beating on top 100-150 players like RIske, Kulischkova, Razzano, Kovinic and only lost to Kerber twice (once in 3 sets) so thats a very nice campaign. UNfortunately could not make the first round against Kiki Bertens, but was in the match until the very end, and the dutch pulled through with her experience, deservedly I might add. She is becoming an australian citizen in couple of weeks I think, so this is Gavrilovas new home where a lot of very good things has been happening to her lately and it was awaited as she was one best juniors in the world and then had nothing to show for after that. Namigata is not bad but nothing to write home about, if Gavrilova continues the way she upped her level and game (had many chances to watch her in those wta matches) then Namigata has no chance here. Teichmann is a top 5 junior, she lost in the ausopen junior draw to Mihalikova 75 in the third, who later became champion. She must feel better abiout that loss now. SHe is a very dangerous lefty hard court player and definitely has much more potential then Patterson, who has been struggling with injuries her whole career. Teichmann has more matches already this year and will use this favourable draw (with her JE) to advance easly imo. GL! Seone Mendez to beat Noppawan Lertcheewakarn @5.5, bet365, 2/10 Mendez already a top 30 junior at the age of 15. She is a baseliner, just like her opponent, so playing styles might equal out. THe thai girl, ex junior #1 is not living up to expectations for some time now. Her bad run continues as she lost her last 6 out of 9 matches. ONe los particular when she lost in the first round of a 10k in HKG not so long ago. I mean here is a player with very little confidence, so much pressure on her, after her good junior campaigns years ago and playing a top 20 junior but really talented australian playing at home with NO pressure at all. This will be interesting, too bad really Mendez is not esp a hard courter! GL!

Re: Shambata 2015 JE means Junior Exempt. If you are a junior Top 15 (or 10) at the end of the year or for a certain period of time (not sure exactly) you get some (I think 5 maybe less) JE to use as a WC for the main draw any 25-75k tournament you select in ahead of time. Its a possability for the young guns to get ahead quicker! One of the adv of having a very good junior ranking! I think Teichmann will make this count!!! Patterson is not that hard to beat! Re: Shambata 2015 Marina Kachar to beat Anna Klasen (Grenoble 25k Q)@1.72, bet365, 6/10 Kachar is a good server and nice sound hard court player (so is Klasen), but the recent results show me Klasen having some confidence problems (last tournaments and last round especially shows). While Kachar had two nice and easy wins over a decent and a good opponent (Finck and Rubini). I believe the momentum angles point to Kachar here, esp looking at Anna Klasen's bad period now! GL! Re: Shambata 2015 Last weeks update with teh Burnie bets, it was alltogether a small plus, updated bankroll: +12 units Today split one, winning Gaydarzhi and losing Kachar (after she was up a set easily). CLose to being up 2-0... oh well onto Midland I founf one worth looking at maybe. Oleksandra Koriashvili to beat Katerina Kramperova (Midland 100k Q)@1.83, bet365, 5/10 Koriashvili is better o hard court and I had a chance to see her, really liked her game, that was one year ago, lots could hav changed since then, but looking at her results, really must say 75% of the reuslts come from hard court tourneys. We can say the opposite about Kramperova, more of a clay courter as her profile on itf says it also. I believe this is a tight affair, neither of the girls are in that good of a form but I will take the slightly better one here and her more favorabloe surface. Last pick for today, looking at Burnie after that. GL I will create my twitter account today and you can follow me there, I will post my every pick there as well, just as I post here. Fun treble @ 1.82, 6/10 Moore/Myers to beat Collie/Ryan (Burnie 50k WD) 1.25 John Millman to beat Ze Zhang (Burnie Challenger) 1.25 Hiyeon Chung to beat Blake Mott (Burnie Challenger) 1.16 Moore/Myers should be automatic looking at their record together, opponent is much worse. THe mailman will continue his, after being up a set and a rbeak vs Roger in Brisbane.. Chung is playing phenomenal tennis imo and Mott has no weapons against his steady baseline game. GL
